Xu Xiaoyan's parents and brother did as Anping instructed, without any hesitation. They knew how serious the situation was. After they learned that they had reached the island through Dragon Valley, they had a chance to look at Anping and Gu Yuena more closely.

Xu Xiaoyu remembered meeting them once at the Soul Ascension Platform in the Eastsea City Back then, Anping and Gu Yuena were weaker than him. But now, they had surpassed him by far.

He felt some resentment towards Anping and Gu Yuena. His sister had quit the Tang Sect and Shrek Academy because of them. Their family had been kicked out of the clan because of that. And now, they had offended the Tang Sect and Gu Yuena, and couldn't even return to the mainland.

But he kept these thoughts to himself. He was awed by Anping and Gu Yuena's power. They were the same age as his sister, but they had already reached the level of Soul Emperor, or higher.

When Anping saw Xu Xiaoyan's family, he also observed them. He sensed that apart from Xu Xiaoyu, the other three were somewhat bitter. Xu Xiaoyan's parents seemed nice enough, though.

He broke the silence and said, "Uncle, aunt, and Xu Xiaoyu. Xiaoyan must have told you the basics. Now you have two choices. The first is to stay on this island until the matter is resolved. You don't have to worry about your living or cultivation needs. I'll take care of them."

Xu Xiaoyu asked in surprise, "Is there a second choice?"

He was worried about the Tang Sect. He knew that they were a powerful and secretive organization. Even if they hadn't been banished from the clan, the whole Xu family wouldn't be able to protect them from the Tang Sect. He wondered if they had any other options at this point.

Anping nodded and said, "There is a second option. You can go back to the mainland, but not with your current identities. I can help you disguise yourselves."

Xu Xiaoyan's family brightened up when they heard this. They didn't want to stay on this barren island. They wanted to go back to their normal lives. They were social beings, like most humans.

Anping understood their feelings. That was why he offered this choice. This island was still undeveloped, and they had a lot of work to do. It wouldn't be good for the family to stay here all the time.

Xu Xiaoyan's father thought for a moment, then shook his head. "No, our martial spirit are too distinctive. Unless we stop using them, some strong people might recognize us by our soul power."

Anping shook his head. "You don't need to worry about that. The disguise I'm talking about includes your martial spirit and soul power. Otherwise, what's the point of pretending?"

Anping explained that they would have to use some illegal methods to forge their identities, such as controlling federal officials with demon spirits. That was how he and Gu Yuena had created their own identities.

Xu Xiaoyan's father was still concerned about their safety. He asked the most important question: "If we choose the second option, can we hide from the Titled Douluo?"

He asked this because he suspected that the Tang Sect had a Titled Douluo among them. And from what Xu Xiaoyan had told them, Anping and Gu Yuena had offended the Tang Sect a lot. If they decided to act against them, they might send someone with a Titled Douluo level.

Anping nodded and said, "Yes, it is possible. I can assure you that not even Titled Douluo, or Yun Ming from Shrek Academy, will be able to recognize my disguise in person. You can trust me."

Anping's confidence convinced Xu Xiaoyan's father. He did not ask any more questions, but nodded and said, "Then let's choose the second option. As for which city to move to, I need to think about it..."

They were not surprised by their decision. They just nodded and said nothing. But then Le Zhengyu said, "If you want to change cities, I suggest you choose Mingdu. The Tang Sect and Shrek Academy have the least power there."

He added, "And Mingdu is the most populous city. As long as you don't reveal your identity, the Tang Sect and Shrek Academy won't be able to find you, no matter how strong they are."

Anping agreed with him. He said, "Mingdu is indeed the best choice."

He knew that both the Tang Sect and Shrek Academy were unpopular organizations in the Federation, so they had the weakest influence in Mingdu.

He could even say that most people in Mingdu disliked the Tang Sect and Shrek Academy. It was hard for them to gain any foothold in Mingdu.
