"Wake up...honey,i'm here...Wake up"
I snapped awake instantly,i didn't know how to feel.This was the first dream in years that wasn't traumatizing,it felt...confusing?
My mother was talking to me,her hand on my shoulder.I felt a tear rolling down my cheek,i hate crying,it made me feel weak but i couldn't help it,i missed her.'Why?...Who took you?...' All i could think of was her,would i have been able to change what had happened if i didn't go to that party? I hate this,I hate me.
I grabbed my pillow and violently threw it across the room,it's all me,it's all my fault.I got out of bed and started getting ready for my day,i was going to hang out with Jacob,Sam and Dustin today so i wouldn't want to look like a mess.

S -"Layla! I HAVE NEWS!"
D -"Oh god..."*Laughs*
J -"I don't think it's that big of a deal but okay"
S -"Oh shut up!"
L -"So what did you want to tell me?"
S -"There's a pool party next week and everyone's gonna be there,you coming?!"
L -"Haha sure"
Jacob pulls me aside for a second.
J -"You sure you're okay with going to this party?"
L -"Yeah i'm fine don't worry,if i didn't feel comfortable i'd tell you"
J -"Okay"
Jacob ruffles up my hair as we walk back to Sam and Dustin.
S -"So it's settled,we're all going! But Layla you have to help me pick the right bikini later kay?"
L -"Okay"*Laughs*
It was way past morning but we decided to go to our favorite breakfast place.We all had huge fluffy pancakes with whipped cream,sprinkles, and a cherry on top. Except for Sam of course,she wrapped bacon with her pancake,with the sprinkles and whipped cream as sauce and toppings.
L -"That does kind of look good though"
S -"See!She thinks it's normal!"
Sam nudges Dustin,whose sitting right beside her at the table.
L -"Ahem,i never said it was normal,i said it looked good"
We all laugh as Sam has a look of disappointment on her face.
S -"Wow,i really thought you were gonna stick up for me here Layla"
L -"Relax i'll make it up to you,how about we go get smoothies tomorrow?"
S -"Yes!Smoothies!"
