Chapter 104: Misunderstanding, I'm an Ally!

Abomination, already enraged from being brutally beaten by the increasingly strong Hulk, was caught off guard when an unexpected Cheng Yaojin, siding with Hulk, suddenly appeared.

Clark, seeing the attack, didn't dodge. He intended to use his cape as a weapon but felt the fierce wind above his head slow his actions.

This is bad!

Abomination's attack was terrifyingly powerful. Clark immediately abandoned the idea of a direct confrontation, leaped backward, and narrowly avoided Abomination's unstoppable punch.

Seeing Clark's fluttering big red cape and hearing the annoying BGM, Abomination felt like exploding with anger.

At that moment, even his hatred for Hulk was cast aside; his only thought was to crush this annoying pest into pulp. Hence, the yellow monster immediately abandoned Hulk and chased after Clark.

However, abandoning the fight with Hulk didn't mean Hulk would let go of the one trying to hurt his "girlfriend." Once Hulk regained his footing, he immediately followed.

Clark, with his flamboyant maneuvers and a bright red cape fluttering in the wind, along with the out-of-place BGM, appeared even more flamboyant than Iron Man.

Chasing Clark was the yellow Abomination, furiously attempting to catch him. Despite his size and anger, he struggled against Clark's slippery maneuvers. Powerful as he might be, he couldn't match Clark's speed and agility.

Unable to catch up or land a hit, even the strongest attacks were futile.

Hulk, following behind Abomination, found it hard to close the distance initially established between them.

The chase, captured by brave journalists, was broadcasted across New York, inadvertently earning Clark a massive amount of impression points.

But what intrigued people more was the meaning behind the four shining Eastern characters on his back.

At S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, Nick Fury's single eye gleamed with an unspoken brilliance upon seeing the broadcast.

Unlike others, he almost immediately recognized the figure as Clark, given the Black Knight attire and the four words on the cape, appearing precisely when Hulk and Abomination were about to reach his house.

With all these clues combined, could there be any doubt?

Seeing his superior's reaction, Coulson, a highly empathetic agent, knew Fury was contemplating something but chose not to inquire.

Back on the battlefield, Clark, having successfully drawn Abomination and Hulk away from his home, stopped abruptly. He transformed his cape into a weapon and swept it towards Abomination.

"Boom!"

Caught off guard, Abomination was struck on the shin and stumbled, falling face-first to the ground.

As he tried to rise, Clark hit him again on the head with the cape-turned-weapon, dazing him. However, with his nearly indestructible nature, Abomination wasn't easily injured and quickly recovered, ready to tear Clark apart.

But then...

"Boom!"

Another loud noise as Abomination was knocked down again, this time more miserably than before.

This time, it wasn't Clark who attacked but Hulk!

It turned out that while Clark was distracting Abomination, Hulk had finally caught up.

With Hulk, a real formidable opponent, by his side, Abomination could no longer afford to focus on Clark and had to face Hulk directly.

However, Clark didn't plan to let him off. His cape, as if alive in his hands, executed various devious tactics. Though it couldn't truly harm Abomination, it effectively controlled him.

Hulk, unreservedly, took advantage of this and launched a brutal assault.

A quarter of an hour later, under Clark's tactical control and Hulk's full-force attack, Abomination finally collapsed, blissfully unconscious.

As the battle ended with a victory for Hulk, he suddenly gave Clark a cryptic smile.

Clark politely returned the smile, about to drape the cape back over his shoulders, only to see Hulk's massive fist coming straight at him.

The fierce wind pressure from the punch made breathing difficult for Clark.

"Misunderstanding, I'm an ally!"
