Chapter 8

After a while of spacing out, I got up from the ground and started stretching, 'I'll think about that stuff later, first I need to find out which world I'm in,' I thought while spreading my wings.

I slowly started ascending into the sky, I don't wanna cave in my new home by accident, once I was around 50 meters above the cave I took off at max speed towards the clouds which caused a few sonic booms that sent shockwaves behind me.

As I flew higher and higher into the sky I noticed something in the distance, it was some sort of town, the same one I saw before, the same one I ignored because I thought it was too risky to be seen by humans at the time. This time, however, I'm stronger and faster, and I don't think their attacks would reach me above the clouds, right?

Changing my course I started flying toward the town, to observe and see if I could recognize it. It would too dangerous to have no information about the world I'm in.

-3rd pov-

it was a normal day for the villagers of Kohonagakure, some were spending time with their families, kids were running around the village while others were worrying about the war.

Suddenly a huge silhouette blocked the sun causing a huge shadow of a beast to cover a large portion of the village. If you looked up you could see a large lizard with equally large wings circling high in the sky.

The sudden appearance of the creature scared a large portion of the civilian villagers. While the children stared at the sky in a daze, some were scared while others were oozing with curiosity.

The shinobi who saw the large creature immediately rushed to inform the Hokage Tower while others prepared for what they thought was an upcoming attack.

-In the Hokage Tower-

Hiruzen was sitting in his office chair signing papers when a shinobi entered his office abruptly unannounced, the shinobi instantly knelt on one knee before speaking, "My humblest apologies for the intrusion Hokage-sama but there are is something I must report."

Hiruzen looked up from his desk and gazed at the kneeling shinobi for a brief second, "speak," he ordered calmly.

The ninja nodded and reported, "a strange creature has appeared above the village," he said hurriedly.

There was an awkward silence in the room for a brief second before it was canceled by Hiruzen's voice, "what?" he questioned as if what he had just heard didn't completely register in his mind.

"A strange creature has appeared above the village and it's now orbiting the village aimlessly," the shinobi repeated but this added new details to his report.

As soon as he heard the shinobi report Hiruzen instantly used Shunshin no Jutsu to appear on the roof of the Hokage office to see the situation for himself and just like the ninja said, a rather large winged lizard was circling the villages.

Suddenly the creature stopped in its tracks before releasing a devastating roar loud enough to be heard from every inch of the village before it rushed in a certain direction leaving behind a large sonic boom loud enough to shake the ground.

-Josuke pov-

I flew around the village in a daze, who would've thought I would be reincarnated into the Naruto verse. Judging from the faces on the stone faces, which are only 3, this is before Minato became Hokage.

Suddenly I felt this huge wave of wish energy, the name I decided to call what I feel when someone is wishing for something, that caused me to stop dead in my tracks. I looked towards the direction the energy was coming from before excitedly shouting, "Finally! Here I come!" which only came out as a roar.

I rushed towards the direction it was coming from, which was North, I flew through the sky like a fighter jet causing a sonic boom to happen behind me which I ignored.

I tried listening to the wish because I don't wanna reach the person who's making the wish to only not be able to grant the wish, that would be embarrassing. It took me a few minutes of intense concentration to finally be able to hear the wish, "m-m-mommy...*sniff*...I wish you could...get better," said a childish inside my head.

sigh*

Coming out of my concentration I couldn't help but sigh, 'I minor selfless wish should be able to fix a simple illness...I think,' I thought while flying over a forest at fast speeds, I was kind of beautiful seeing the forest under me as I flew.

After another 5 minutes of flying I finally pinpointed the location of the wish, it was a small cabin by a river, if you looked into the distance you could spot a small village however it was rather far from the cabin.

I slowly landed a further away from the cabin before walking towards it, every step I took shook the ground a little. in just a few seconds I was right in front of the cabin.

Hito and his mother, Erza, lived a rather simple life by themselves sometimes they would visit the village nearby to restock but never did they intervene with village affairs, when one day his mother caught a strange illness that caused her health to slow decline until she was partially paralyzed.

Hito being a child didn't fully understand what was going on, however, he knew his mother was not feeling well. All he could do was wish she got better, "m-m-mommy...*sniff*...I wish you could...get better," he muttered as he held his mother's hand while tears ran down his face.

"Don't...worry my...son. Your mother...*cough* isn't leaving you," said Erza weakly, she tried to raise her arm to pat his head but couldn't even move it.

Suddenly the ground under their feet started shaking, the shaking got louder and stronger as if it was moving closer and closer to them before long the inside of their cabin got darker as if something was blocking the sun.

"w-what..is happening..mommy?" questioned Hito as his grip on his mother's hand grew tighter. "I don't know *cough* son, but stand behind me mother will protect you," said Erza, even though she was weak and seemed like she could die with the simplest touch still had her motherly instincts to protect her child.

As Hito moved behind her, he heard a semi-deep monotone voice in his mind, "child, do you want your wish to be granted?" asked the voice.
