Chapter 11 - Part 2 - A Rabbit Goddess In Love, and Nephthys

I caught Kurousagi as she tearfully jumped off the building. Although her chest slammed against my face, I wasn't complaining about it.

"Master Jin!"

"Uh… Is something wrong, Kuro?"

But she doesn't answer me and begins to… Sniff me? Who are you? Akeno?! I stand there awkwardly as she hugs me and just keeps sniffing me. Also, wasn't she meant to stay with Ra to read over all those documents? I looked at Ash as he shrugged at me.

"She just randomly appeared and wouldn't stop saying your name, so knowing it wouldn't take you long to rebuild West Emzusai, I just waited here for you to appear and drag you to her."

Ash sighs and looks at Kurousagi. The others finally joined us too, and Rose did not seem that happy as she squinted her eyes suspiciously at the rabbit girl.

"I doubt she'll let go, so just tell me what part of this place you want me to rebuild or fix."

I turn to Ash and tell him that. He just smirked and nodded before walking away and gestured for us to follow him. We walk over the small bridge and stand away from the restaurant/bar that he brought us to before.

"I would like to build some houses on the cliffs. I asked my people if they wanted the mountain to be torn down but they said no. However, they don't mind expanding upwards, and changing the entrance to be further back so we'll be converting the large pathway here to more houses and shops. But for now, we only want this section to be rebuilt."

Ash explained and shifted his gaze to look at me. Expanding upwards, huh? I looked at the rock face above us.

"Do you want it all just above here? Or all around?"

"Just around here."

Ash points at certain spots and I take note. Seems easy enough, but—

"How do you want the houses to be? The same as the ones already on there or do you want more space to make them bigger?"

"The same, my people are content with how their homes are, so if we get more people who will move here in the future, then they'll have homes they can move into. Here, this is what the interior usually looks like."

After explaining that, Ash handed me a piece of paper and it showed me what the interior looked like. Simple enough, although they do feel a bit small, but if the people living here are fine with it, then I'm not one to judge.

I put my hand up, and created new edges and platforms on the giant rocky wall. After that was done, I copied the designs of the current homes and basically reconstructed them on the platforms. Of course, I followed the interior design, but also changed them for each home so it wouldn't be too repetitive. I did this for all of them and in total, it only took around thirty minutes.

"Marvelous, thank you, Jin."

Ash patted my back as he stood beside me.

"Yeah."

I did all that while Kurousagi clung to me. I feel like she's acting like some of the girls I've been with for a long time. Clingy, unsure of her own emotions (or she is very sure), sniffing me like Akeno, and not wanting to detach from me... I can think of a few of them at night, or on certain occasions.

"Next is…"

I took out the list that Nehebkau gave me. Next was Anubis, and after saying that to myself, I felt two familiar presences teleport behind us. As I turned around, I saw Anubis and that girl named Aurera.

"Oh, Anubis, are you next? You've brought your bodyguard Aurera too."

Ash greets them and Anubis nods at him. I look up at the sky and I can probably squeeze in one more city to build before stopping for the day.

"I can fit in one more for the day. After yours I'll finish the rest tomorrow."

I told them, and they nodded.

"Hmmm? That new Goddess is very attached to you, Middleman. Huhu, but rumors say you did resurrect her ~ I can see why."

She added a mischievous smile at the end. Next, she snapped her fingers and two documents appeared in front of me. I grabbed them and saw they were blueprints and a rough sketch of what she wanted her city to look like. It seemed very…

No kidding, but it seems very compact, even more so than Nehebka's city. Well, it doesn't matter, let's not dilly dally here any further.

"I'm fine with it, will you be…?"

I waved at Ash and Sekhmet as we left. Ash gave me a sympathetic look, and also silently wished me luck. But… Sekhmet also seemed annoyed by Anubis for some reason. Is Anubis hated or something among the Gods?

"How is it? It's quite spacious, is it not?"

She says while patting my crotch like it was a dog's head or something... Again, I slap her hand away but she pulls away on time. She snickers at me. When I looked back, I could see, again, flattened land. When I looked back at the drawing, it seemed like she wanted me to raise the ground a bit. I was fine with it.

"Do you want these mountains you drew too?"

"Yes, boy."

"Alright, I'll get started then… The sun is quickly setting after all."

She patted my crotch again before I flew down with Kurousagi still hugging me. I could hear her breathing become rough and ragged as she was also kind of squirming every now and again.

I tell her and she nods before turning back to burying her face in my shoulder. I make the two documents float beside me and proceed with the construction. Starting with the terrain, multiple mountain ranges of varying sizes emerged from the ground.

In the drawing, it appears that the actual city itself had a tall wall as well. Therefore, she must have wanted to make them into some kind of faux wall.to surround the place. I was done with the mountains, I decided to start with the actual city wall itself.

It was obvious that some of them were related to large buildings, so I decided to construct them as well when I began to build. I could see there were a few very large and prominent buildings that Anubis wanted.

Once I built the walls, I decided to take on those large buildings next. However, I turned back to Anubis since I had no idea what kind of interior she wanted.

"What about the interior?"

"Ah, yes, here."

She snapped her fingers and another piece of paper floated to me.

"Pff—"

I swiped it away and started to cough. I wasn't expecting to see a nude of her, legs spread apart, and her vagina and tits on full display. Jesus Christ, you loli hag! Take this seriously! I want to get this done and over with before this day is over!

Some were residential, although most of the houses were small. But when I say 'small' they were quite large, I'm still comparing them to human homes… These Gods sure are extravagant. All of them built up quickly, but Anubis flew beside me.

Consequently, I changed some of the signs to read 'brothels', 'strip clubs', and constructed two 'sex prisons', whatever the hell they were, I just added a building that had 'those' types of things. Hathoth is supposed to be the Goddess of Love and fertility in this pantheon, right? So, I was expecting her to act a bit more like how Anubis was acting, although she is married so… Maybe Anubis is just sexually frustrated?

"Are you thinking of doing it with me, boy? You've stopped working."

I was brought out of my thoughts when she said that.

"…No. I've built them. Is there anything else you want?"

When we arrived in the throne room, Ra, Isis, Bastet, Horus, Nehebkau, Hathoth, Osiris, Aten and two other Gods I hadn't seen before were there. Rashida was standing beside Ra and she had a cart with some drinks and food on it. They all looked quite dead inside, especially Ra as he was drooling a bit.

"Uh, are you guys okay?"

I asked and they all looked up. Ra immediately lit up.

"Jin! I hate you! But I can't deny the benefits of joining!"

"I see… So, I got four out of the seven cities done and I'm wrapping up for the day and was wondering—"

He stops me and nods.

"Stay in the same room as before! Rashida, if you don't mind. Ah yes, before that… These two are Neith and Shu. Tomorrow, you should have them plus Aten."

He gestures to Neith, a Goddess, and Shu another God.

Neith like a few other Goddesses I've seen has a lot of golden accessories on her. She has white medium-length hair, crimson red eyes, and wears a white one-piece dress with gold ornaments all over it. She has black and golden shoulder guards and some sort of arm guard on both arms. She also appears to be wearing a white feathered cape.

Shu had long black hair and deep blue eyes. He wore simple clothing, a simple sserual with the top half exposing his chest. He wore large circular earrings, golden bracelets and had what appeared to be some millennium puzzle, like Aten floating beside him.

""Greetings, Middleman.""

They both said it at the same time, with Neith waving at me. Although they both did seem tired, and Osiris just gave me a tired nod. They really didn't need to read it this late in the day…

"Jin, I must apologize. We had an early dinner, so—"

"Don't worry about it, we'll find a place to eat. You're already letting us sleep here, so thanks. Anyway, we'll get going."

Ra smiled and nodded before going back to reading. I was thinking of asking him about Kurousagi. I was wondering if I should bring her with us, or let her stay here. But her grip had tightened a little since we arrived, so I took that as a no. Since the two girls were near me, I teleported us away again.

"Kuro, do you know any good places to eat?"

She leans closer to me and whispers a few places.

"I see… Alright, let's check them all out then."

Rose, seeing this as an opportunity, grabs on to my other free arm. But Kuro doesn't really react. I glance back at Grayfia as she just shakes her head. Geez, I wanted to spoil my maid too, you know? I guess I'll do that later.

We walked around the city at night, and the sky looked quite amazing as I remembered it. Even if I only saw it from our balcony that time. The town was also quite lively until late at night. I feel like this is a global/universal thing for the supernatural because in nearly every city I would see the same or even more of them out at night.

After walking around for a few minutes and checking out a few restaurants and bars, we eventually found one that we liked. 'Eventide Luminous Dining' was the restaurant's name. It has a modern design both exterior and interior.

After ordering our food, we sat down. Kuro still had been clinging onto me, and the table we chose could only fit four people so… Grayfia and Rose sat across from me and Kuro. Rose wasn't happy, but she had to deal with it.

"One thing I'm grateful for is that there hadn't been some kind of attack when we got here… I mean, I was 'tested' by Aten, but that's better than nothing, I guess."

I chuckle and summon the deck of cards from earlier. I wasn't intending to participate, but Grayfia taught Rose some blackjack. I look back out the window and scan the city. Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. A few buildings are still in need of repair, but that's about it.

Aten also said that I needed to watch out for more haters, but there haven't been any at the spots that I have been too today. Was he referring to the ones I'll be building for him and with Shu and Neith? If that's the case, tomorrow might be a bit more annoying. However, should I leave these two to go and check out the library and the dancing hall? They won't needlessly be hassled if I do that, but I doubt they'll accept that suggestion from me.

I hear a bell ring and look to see that the waitress has brought our food over. I remove the cards that Rose and Grayfia were using and we immediately eat our food after she leaves. Even Kuro had let go as she looked quite famished. She thanked me after I reduced her heat one more time. I will tell them about it later, if I have time.

"…?"

I glanced back at the window as I stopped eating. However, whatever, or whoever was watching me had vanished and was no longer close to us, but they were still in the city.

"Is something wrong, Jin?"

"I just jinxed myself."

"Huh?"

I looked back and saw Rose confused, but I just shook my head.

"Don't worry about it, I'll sort it out before sleeping tonight."

They didn't argue much and we continued eating but... What I felt was a God, whether they were Goddesses or a God, I don't know which one. They left before I could confirm. But they appeared at night. I wonder who? It can't be Anubis since I already know what she feels like.

[Heh.]

Rose muttered loud enough for everyone to hear. We were nearing the palace again and Kuro stopped walking.

She left before I could answer. We just stood there in silence for a few seconds before continuing on our way. We quickly got inside and we came across Ra, Hathoth and Rashida.

"Ah, you're back. You are welcome to use the large bath we have as before. We just finished using it! Now for some nightly adventures, my love!"

"Ufufu ~ my, so bold in front of everyone dear ~"

Ra and Hathoth flirted as they walked away. Rashida bowed to us before following after them. If it wasn't so obvious, I wouldn't feel bad for her, but hopefully she can deal with it. "I forgot that this place was nearly made out of gold…"

I muttered as I walked towards the water. I was the first one out and the other two were still getting undressed. Unfortunately, it wasn't open-air, and we couldn't enjoy the night sky in its full glory. Maybe I should ask Ra about it... Nah, that's a bit too much. It's their home, and I'm their guest.

Statues of lions, cats and other creatures poured water into the large bath. Some plants and flowers were also all over the place. However, the one thing I really liked about the place was that it wasn't as hot as the rest of the realm. Ra thought of putting some kind of temperature-controlling spell here.

I finally sat down and I could still feel someone looking at the place I was in. I put my hand out and surrounded the place with a barrier. After I did that, it vanished again… What kind of pervert…?

"Jin, is something wrong?"

I turn to my left and see both Grayfia and Rossweisse there with towels wrapped around their bodies… Nice.

"Hmm? Nah, it's nothing. Come here already ~"

I patted the spots beside me and they joined me with a sigh. Once seated, I wrapped my arms around them bringing them closer.

"I am reminded that having a normal job seems tedious and annoying. Is this how construction workers feel? Although I did manage to do a lot in just a few hours. I can only imagine normal humans taking months or even years on a single building, especially those skyscrapers."

Although I do think that having my own restaurant wouldn't be too bad. Even if I have to do the bulk of the work at the start. I'll try not to become like those assholes once they get comfortable.

"Work is part of life, Jin… You have to do some whether you like it or not. You're already working as the Middleman, although I admit that it's a bit more luxurious than most jobs. Perhaps this is, as you say, the more tedious one you've done."

Grayfia says and lightly pinches me on the side. I know, though, I don't know how long I'll keep up this 'Middleman' job, but I know eventually it will have to end. I'll have another job which is governing the Omniverse, although I'll be different because of my evolution… But… Whatever, I'll deal with it when the time comes…

"Jin, can you tell us about that Velgrynd name now?"

Rose asked beside me. As I looked at her, I nodded.

"Right, so… Grayfia knows about this… I mentioned it to her once before, but—"

I told Rose about the 'Fated One' thing, and that I knew Lavinia, Suzaku and Velgrynd were the three. As for the fourth? I didn't know and told them that Cúntóir informed me that it's a Goddess.

"I see, but who's—"

"I was getting to that, so Velgrynd is… To put it simply, she's a dragon from another universe. Our 'fates' are kind of tied together because of an incident that happened during my reincarnation… Anyway, she frequently visits my soul and we chat there from time to time, but she can't touch or interact with anything, but anyway she can speak to me just like Ddraig and Albion, so—"

"Right."

As I begin to explain, Velgrynd's voice echoes in the room. They were both surprised, and so was I.

"Wait, you can do that, Vel?"

"With the help of Cúntóir, then yeah."

She replied. Well, it would have been very useful to know that information, Cúntóir…

"Anyway, she's like Irene. She's a True Dragon, but I don't know which 'True Dragon' is stronger. The one in this universe or hers? Well, whatever the case may be… She'll eventually reach here once I evolve."

"I've had some move into mine already."

All three of them sat down, and Bastet answered me first. She already has people moving in? I wasn't expecting that, no… Knowing the kind of Goddess she is, it wouldn't be too difficult for her to do that. She has to have a pretty decent following. I mean… the more people believe in Gods the stronger they become, but…

This is an alternate universe, where the rules are already skewed. Gods here can live, grow old and lose followers, but can apparently be brought back with enough people believing in them. The question to me has always been, does the God WANT to return in order to resurrect? Like the God of the Bible? Or did he just choose not to?

I could possibly just talk to him about it, having Cúntóir locate him and have a chat.

"I have changed some things in mine because I wanted to, take no offense, boy, you did a fine job."

Anubis says and I nod. I glance at Aurera who had been silent all the times I've seen her… When using [Observe] on her, she was quite normal, well… Normal as in an Ultimate-class being, but still normal.

"I noticed that you've been sneaking peeks at my bodyguard, Middleman. Are you interested in her?"

Anubis laughed teasingly, and Aurera squinted her eyes at me.

"…No, she's just been quiet since I first saw her. I was just curious about her."

"Aurera, speak."

"I am a lesbian."

Anubis then starts cackling to herself as everyone in the room stares at her in confusion. I'm not sure if what Aurera said was true or not, but I feel like she's the one that hates me and just decided to stay quiet around me. But I wasn't expecting that to be her first sentence…

"Oh right, Jin, about our room."

"No."

"Wow, aren't you rude?"

Bastet laughed at me and Anubis was a bit confused by this, so she asked Bastet and she understood.

"Why not? You are already dating a Greek goddess. Is Bastet or I, not beautiful enough?"

"That's not the point…"

I replied tiredly. I wanted out, I didn't want to be interrogated… I feel like I'm on repeat at times… Maybe I should just make those small business cards explaining some of those things they ask? Yes, yes… That sounds smart… I'll do that.

However, Bastet and Anubis started to talk about their cities and what their plans for them are, so with that we (I) decided to leave along with Grayfia and Rose. Rossweisse hadn't recovered yet, so Grayfia had to help her.

"That was too much for her…"

Grayfia muttered beside me. We were in our room again as Rose was asleep on the bed. After we left the bath earlier, I removed the barrier, so whoever was watching us or me came back to watch us. I still need to confront that person.

"I guess so. She did try to seduce me when we first came here, so I was thinking she might be mentally prepared for it, but I guess not. But I'll just ask her about it when she's back in the land of the living. Anyway, I need to head out and check something out really quickly. I won't be long."

"Very well…"

Grayfia grabs my arm forcing me to turn around to face her. I lean down and kiss her. I let her decide when she wants to end it since I feel like I've been ignoring her all day. Even though I promised to bring her with me.

The rate at which we're going, it's going to be more than just kissing, and seeing as Grayfia wasn't planning on ending it anytime soon, I did it for her by giving her ass a light slap. She yelped in our kiss because of this.

"I have to leave you know…"

"I-I'm sorry…Jin…"

Her eyes are a bit teary as she looks at me. I swear she acts like this every time we're alone. Although I do feel lucky to be the only one to see this side of her. Even though she promised to be a bit more open, it's fine… I mean she is opening up in her own way.

"Geez, Fia, you're really making it very difficult for me to leave. But don't worry, I'll spoil you soon."

I give her a peck on the lips before leaving. Now then… Who the hell are you?

Quickly jumping around the rooftops of the houses and buildings, the figure doesn't move from the spot. It seemed like they wanted me to go to them. They were at the top of the dancing/food building and I eventually arrived there.

We silently stared at each other as soon as I arrived. It was a woman and when I used [Observe] on them… The name said Nephthys. In my past world's mythology, she's Isis' sister, and is also known as the Goddess of Darkness/Night, magic, the dead, beer and other titles. But… I see, that's why she showed up at night. Kind of poetic, in a way.

"Nephthys, why have you been watching us?"

I asked her, but didn't get an answer… But she was looking at me quite strangely. But I didn't feel any hostility from her, quite the opposite actually, which was overwhelming affection— Borderline in the 'yandere' territory as I would put it.

'Yandere', honestly that word isn't associated with anything positive so far in my brand-new life. Nyarlathotep and Lapis are two entities that I associate it with, and do not like that much…

Nephthys is a young woman in a rather revealing suit composed of a black and purple cloak and a large skirt that covers her legs. Her black hair is braided in two pigtails, she has purple eyes, and she is wearing purple make-up. She also carried a small book in her hands.

I answered her, but she wasn't deterred and started to strip! Ayo, what?!

"Stop! What the hell?!"

I pointed a finger at her and her clothes refused to leave her body, so she looked rather annoyed at me.

"My body, my soul, everything, y-you are the one!! I can see it!"

See it…? What the hell is this woman talking about? Seeing my confusion, Nephthys continues to speak.

"Your soul is so pure yet so dark. It's as if you represent both life and death! Yin and Yang! Destruction and creation! Since I saw it the first time you came here… I can't get you out of my mind, Jin Skyward! Please let me bear your children!"

She said quite passionately, however, I on the other hand was just done with this… That's such a weird reason to like someone, yin and yang? I know I'm different, but fucking hell, lady.

"Sorry I—"

As I begin to reject whatever the fuck she's talking about, she appears in front of me, grabs both my hands and squeezes them quite tightly. She looks up at me very passionately but at the same time oozing some kind of weird dark divine aura.

"Traditional ways, dating, I'll do it all, so fall in love with me! Marry me! Love me! I will bear your children in the future, my beloved, Jin! I don't care if you have a million women, please add me!"

A bit passionately, she declared, and then started to breathe heavily at the end.

The fact that you're not denying it makes me worried, Velgrynd. But when I said that to her, she didn't answer back, so I just focused back on Nephthys.

Finally, she accepted! I sigh in relief. This felt like talking to a wall or a very hollow cave. But what I wasn't expecting was her to want a pink promise…

I played dumb. I knew what she wanted, but what she was asking of me was a bit extreme. I mean, who even says these things to a person they just met? Er, well, okay… She saw me when I first came here, so technically she's been stalking me since then...

Satisfied with the answer, she quickly nods her head before screaming into the night. It feels like I'm looking at a teenager stuck in a very old Goddesses' body. I sigh and look back at Ra's palace. I still have work to do tomorrow, so I'll need to—

However, my thoughts were stopped since Nephthys turned me back around and kissed me. She also immediately pushed her tongue inside of my mouth. She also started to rub my dick through my pants. I was briefly stunned by this, but quickly grabbed her shoulders and pushed her away.

She started to mutter and I just sigh.

Happy with my answer, Nephthys blows me a kiss, wipes her tears away and disappears. I was hoping for a calm evening, not something like this… No matter what pantheon or faction I go to, they're all full of weirdos, aren't they?

It makes me slightly nervous about Queen Halloween's realm, and whatever awaits me back in the Slavic realm. Even if we only interacted briefly, they seemed normal enough… I'm trying not to be a stereotype here and won't say certain things about the Gods…

I sigh again before teleporting back to the room I'm staying in. Once I got there, Rose was still asleep, and Grayfia was sitting in one of the chairs reading something. This is the same book that Griselda bought when I went out with her and Irina.

I feel like they're all getting ready for me to graduate high school or college before asking me if I'll propose to them. Truthfully, I don't know when I'll propose to the rest. However, I have an idea for the sleeping Valkyrie on the bed. Maybe I can pop the question when we visit Yggdrasil. But as for the maid and a certain hybrid leviathan… I don't know.

Grayfia notices me, closes her book and puts her book on her lap.

"Welcome back, how did it go— Did you meet up with a woman?"

Her calm aura disappeared as she squinted at me suspiciously… What are you, a dog?!

I walk over, sit in a chair beside her, and explain what happened. By the end of it, she just sighed at me and put her book back into her ring.

"You attract strange people to you, Aaron… No, this time it's a Goddess, although it's not the first time, is it? Anubis-sama was among them as she kept touching you…"

Even though Grayfia said that, she was obviously annoyed— No angry at the thought. Geez, who would have thought that she of all people would be this jealous of Anubis sexually harassing me? I sigh and pick her up.

"Let's just move on from that and go to sleep, Fia."

She didn't really argue and we finally turned in for the night.

It was the next day and we had finished eating breakfast and were back in the throne room. A couple of more Gods had joined them in getting through the documents I gave them. The next God's city I'll be rebuilding is Shu, after that is Neith and finally Aten's.

"I look forward to seeing your work, Jin. I inspected the cities you rebuilt the previous day, and I have high expectations, but before we depart, here. These are the blueprints and a rough design of the city I wish to be built."

He explains and hands me two documents. I look over at them and they seem as elaborate and detailed as Horus' city. This will take quite a bit then.

"Ah, yes, there is also an underground section, if you flip both documents over."

He points out and I flip them over… Well, it's not as large as the above ground, but holy shit why does he want an underground section?

"You seem to want to know why I am in favor of an underground section. To put it simply, I would like to have more living space for my people. In the event of an attack in the future, I would like the underground section to act as an emergency shelter. So please make it even more secure."

He said it quite seriously. He didn't seem like a bad person, although I doubt he knew about the barrier I placed around the cities I already built yesterday… But whatever, I'll build it so he won't complain too much.

"I see, well then let's go."

"You shaped the land already? I appreciate it then…"

I told him that I could see some small mountains and large rock faces around the place. Of course, the land was also flattened to make the building process easier. In all honesty, when I first saw him, I thought he would want a slightly more futuristic looking city, rather than what he presented to me.

"Hmm."

"Alright, I'll get started then."

Looking at the blueprints and drawings, there seemed to be nine defense towers in total. At the front where the entrance was, on the left side and at the back. On the right are large mountains so I don't think he wants any there. I'll start with those and the walls.

I fly down and begin creating the walls of the city. As well as attaching them to the mountain, I raised them to the same height as them. I went around the rough outline that I could see through my eyes thanks to Cúntóir helping me.

Once the wall and towers were up, I focused on creating the buildings inside the city. From the drawing I could not see anything that resembled a 'home' for Shu, except for maybe the tower-like building in the middle. I flew back up to him and asked him about it.

"Ah, the middle tower is how we access the underground section. My home will be down there. I will come up every now and again to check up on my people, however, I have helpers that will aid me in everyday work, Jin."

"I see…"

Flying back down, I immediately began construction. Like Horus, he had a lot of details about the place, including the interior. Honestly, I feel like those two are friends or at least shared ideas. Homes, entertainment districts, and economic districts started to pop up. However, I felt a large number of auras coming nearer to the place, so I flew over to see who it was.

But when I arrived, Shu was already addressing them. Some looked happy, while others looked angry. So he already told some of his followers that they'd have a new home, huh? Clearly some aren't too pleased that I, the Dual Dragon Emperor made it, but just held their tongue about it.

Seeing as he told them it wouldn't take too long, I'll speed up the process then. I fly back, and quickly complete the above-ground section. After this they can move in and I can focus on the underground section. Once it was done Shu flew over to me.

"My men will guide my people and will be in charge. Let us go underground. I have already created enough space for it."

"Sure."

The girls quickly joined us and when we got there…

"Jin-sama! ~"

Nephthys was waiting there, and she came over to hug me. Grayfia was neutral to her as she already knew who it was. Rose was shocked and looked to Grayfia for an answer, and she explained making her mouth twitch.

"Remember what we promised?"

"Yes ~"

She flew back towards the other two women and started to chat with them. Shu gave me a confused look but I shrugged him off. Not the time to explain anything… I looked at the underground plans, and for some reason there's a large clock tower in it. It looked almost like Big Ben.

According to the plans, he wants me to construct a hotel-type multi-purpose building. On all floors are either shops, homes or something else, and at the top are even more buildings. Below it are even more houses, shops and other buildings, and around the cave, I'll need to create platforms to add even more houses. There will also be bridges and small carriages that will bring them back and forth to the top of the large tower structure.

[That's elaborate as hell and very extra. Hey, Partner. I just got an idea. Why don't you do that in the future? What was the anime called? Sword art online? Make like an 'Aincrad' or whatever the hell it's called after you evolve and make it your permanent home.]

[Add another tower-like structure into it and have that as the [Tower Dimension], it works similarly like the [Pocket Dimension] + [Training Facility], so you won't be responsible for having to take your harem to get stronger, it'll be up to them to get stronger.]

[Add other things there too, you know? The ultimate paradise… Oh, make a place for me and Albion to fly or do whatever the fuck we want!]

…Where the hell did this come from? I mean, it doesn't sound like a bad idea. However, I would probably need to move at some point. This is because I'll need to be at a place where I can govern the Omniverse since if I do it in Kuoh, that would just feel weird... After hearing the weird argument between them, I start to construct the place. Starting with the structure in the middle, I create it with all the specifications that Shu wants. It's even more detailed than the above-ground city, even though this place would be considered a small town rather than a large city. It feels more detailed than above.

He even asked for a hall theater, fucking hell… After finishing the tower, I created the houses and buildings beneath it. Most of them are compact, but inside are all the luxurious amenities you need to live a high-end middle-class lifestyle.

Next were the homes on the walls. I created the same platforms as I did in East Emzusai, and created the same homes on them. Lastly, I built the small carriages that would take them to the tower. After that, I installed lights to power the place since it was a bit too dark now.

"Wonderful work, Middleman. You have my praise. What you created was beyond my expectations!"

"…You know, I've been wondering… Why don't you guys just do this? I mean, I know Ra gave me the job, but I was just wondering."

"Hmm. To put it simply, we didn't have the time. From what Bastet and Horus told me, you did it in a timely manner. We would have taken a bit longer, at least a whole day for just the buildings themselves. As for the interior, that would have taken longer. Jin, was it? Are you sure you're not a God?"

He asked and looked at me. I just shrug in response making him laugh.

"Very well, you don't need to divulge your secrets to me. But I am grateful. Thank you again. Your next client should be Neith. She along with Ra will be waiting for you back at Ra's home."

I nod, hand his documents back and go back to Grayfia and Rose. To my surprise, the three of them were talking normally. However, when I approached, Nephthys immediately hugged me making Rose sigh.

"Next is Neith, then finally Aten. I'll be done by then and we can explore the damn library and food-dancing hall!"

"Oh, you mean the Eoeri and Taho? The library is a great place, and there are more stores and shops in the Taho than just food and dancing, Jin-sama! I'll guide you once you're done!"

Nephthys said enthusiastically, well, if that's the case I don't mind then… She's at least a lot more civil and agreeable now than last night. I wonder what they spoke about?

"I'm next? Very well, let us go, Jin."

As soon as we teleported back, Neith got up and strolled over to me. She briefly glanced back at me before summoning some documents and handing them over to me. I didn't get time to look at them as she teleported us away.

"I took the initiative like Shu and flattened the land, although the place I wish to be created is simply a large town or medium-sized city. I saw both Horus and Shu's plans and thought they were a bit too lavish, and I know that look, Jin. I may look like this, but my personality is more laid back than my appearance."

Neith said that to me as we reached the new spot. I hadn't said anything nor changed how my face looked, but sure thing lady. I looked down at the blueprints and drawings. They're also detailed, but since they're smaller, they'll be easier to produce.

I nodded and got to it. The area was already flat so I didn't need to do that. I started by making her home, which was the tallest structure there. It was on top of large rocks with water coming out of them, like man-made waterfalls. However, looking at the whole thing, there wasn't a wall to protect it, so I'll just put a barrier over it.

After that, I saw various buildings strewn about the place. Regular homes, small and large businesses, a bridge connecting to a different part of the large town, and a… Camp? For some reason, I fly back to Neith and ask her about it.

"Ah that? A friend of mine wants it. She tends to be what I call a wanderer: she doesn't spend much time in one place, and moves around. She typically stays in inns or hotels, or even just out in the wild. Although it's a small realm, so staying out at night isn't recommended, but she's insane like that, so…"

The woman laughed at the end. Whoever this friend is sounds like an even more insane Áine, at least Áine stays in secure places… I think? I'll just ask her about it when I go to Ireland again.

"If you say so…"

I flew back to continue constructing the place. However, as I said, it was the smallest out of the places I had to build, so I was done relatively quickly. What stood out to me was the moat that surrounded it. Although there were no walls, this moat would provide some defense.

"Hmm-hmm, I love it. I appreciate it, Jin."

She patted me on the shoulder before flying towards her newly created town.

"All that's left is Aten…"

Nephthys stuck with me during all of that, of course, she let go of my arm so she wouldn't encumber me in any way, at least she's thoughtful like that. Maybe I'm just being inexplicably hostile? But I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Neith comes back to us rather quickly and gives me a thumbs up.

"I approve, and so will my husband Khnum, however, he's out currently and won't be back for a week. But I will make sure to inform him, again, thank you, Jin. Now go! Aten is waiting."

She lightly punches me on the shoulder before gesturing me to leave. Geez woman, talk about a change in personality. I thought she was a bit more serious, but I guess she's a little more laid back.

"Then, goodbye for now, Neith."

Before I could do anything, Aten was already standing at the spot where we appeared and immediately teleported us away. We were teleported to an even more barren part of this realm, with sand everywhere. However, there were some small rock hills that appeared to be made by Aten.

"So—"

He handed me blueprints and a detailed picture. In my opinion, it's relatively tame compared to the others, a bit larger than Neith's but definitely "normal".

"My people, the ones you spoke with are nearby and waiting, Jin. I hope you can complete this as soon as possible."

"…Right, but before that… What do you want me to do with these pillars of light? Is it decoration or…?"

Aten glances at the documents and nods. Nephthys lets go of me and joins back with Fia and Rose leaving me to work.

"Create them, but leave that part to me. It is meant to keep danger away, and provide a cooling effect around the city. It will also help the soil around the city become more fertile, keep the water fresh and that will ensure the air is unpolluted."

"Hmm, sounds convenient. I'll get right to it then."

Flying down to the flattened area, I began building the walls that surround the city. Then I created the large pillars for Aten, and after that I built the buildings for the small city. Only Horus' city had farming land, so I wondered if the others would import goods from theirs to theirs instead of growing them and exporting them. To make a profit.

I quickly created the small forest, and lake, the small river and bridge that connects them all. After that the only thing left was Aten's home. It was at the very top of the town. It was the largest building there, but it wasn't on the same scale as the others. Maybe I could compare it to Neith's.

As I finish up, Aten flies further in front of me then points at a pillar. After a few seconds, blue light shoots up in and into the sky. He does this to all the other six, a total of seven blue pillars were now shooting into the sky.

As if on cue, I turned around to see the people I had met the day before slowly moving towards the newly built city. From here I could see that many of them were quite happy with their new home. I still felt a bit of anger towards me, but it wasn't as intense as the last one.

"Please accept my deepest gratitude, Jin. Truthfully, many of us would have taken at least an entire day or two to do this. Most of us aren't creator Gods like Ptah who could potentially do this. However, he has defected to Khaos Brigade which saddens some of us. However, because of what he did to Sekhmet, not many are too upset to see him go."

He explained. Well, he did act like an asshole, so I won't deny that, Aten… Although…

"In the future, I will inevitably come across him. I know I should be asking Ra this, but in your opinion, what do you think? Kill or capture? I'm not against any of them."

"Hmm. Truthfully from what I've heard, I would have thought you would always pick capture, Jin. Did something change?"

"Change? Probably. I'm a bit more skeptical of people. I mean, I can— Never mind, I just have my way of telling someone's nature."

Aten nods before looking back at his new city. After around two minutes he looks back at me. During that time, Nephthys came back to me along with Rose and Grayfia.

"Ra does not tolerate traitors, so whether or not they were once a part of our own, he won't hesitate to kill them. He may be a very laid-back God most of the time, but don't mistake it for anything else. He can and will put his foot down on decisions that matter."

He explained seriously. Well, that's nothing new. I feel like Nuada, Odin, Azazel and Sirzechs are like that.

"I see… Well, we'll just head back then, we don't have much long here. I don't know how far you guys are from reading those documents."

"I believe we are three quarters through it, so it shouldn't be long until we are done, Jin. Nephthys, are you guiding them through Eoeri and Taho?"

"That's right."

Aten turns to Nephthys and asks her that question, but to my surprise she lost her usual childish/yandere attitude and answered Aten honestly. Apparently, my reaction was quite obvious as they both laughed at me.

"You were chosen by her, Jin. It's enviable that she will act differently towards you."

Aten explained and Nephthys blushed… R-Right, sure… I just shrug and turn around.

"We'll go then, take care, Aten."

"Yes, you too, Jin."

"M-Master Ra please get a hold of yourself…"

"Dear, I think you should drink some tea…"

"Ra, eat something. Your brain is malnourished."

As soon as we teleported back in, Ra's head was on the table and steam was coming out of it. Most Gods except for Isis were worried about him. It looks like he finally short circuited after reading through all of that.

"Er, I'm done… Is he okay?"

As soon as I announced our presence, they turned to look at us. Ra was not as perky as usual. However, Hathoth took charge instead.

"Jin, thank you, please come back when my husband is okay… Umm…"

"Don't worry about it, I have some places I want to check out. I'll come back soon."

Hathoth looked thankful before sitting back down. Next, I teleport us out and near the Library. I'm sure Nephthys called it Eoeri…

"We're heading to the library first, Jin?"

Nephthys asked while hugging my arm. I look at her and nod, so she pulls on my arm and starts to lead us there. We pass by many homes and shops, a few people looking at me or her. This is because I've become somewhat infamous here, due to the recent incident, or because of what happened in the past.

'Tada!"

She said while pointing at the building in front of us. It was massive, and it was mostly made out of white wood and some metal. The top was circular in shape with a point, but I couldn't admire it any longer as Nephthys pulled me along and the rest followed. Once inside it was even more spacious.

"..."

Rose was the most speechless. There were hundreds of shelves with books everywhere.

"In total, there are twenty-eight floors here, and we have over ten thousand books. Rossweisse, feel free to explore and read as much as you want. I will tell the manager here about us."

Nephthys tells her, she hugs me and leaves. We watch her leave as she disappears around a corner. Directly in front of us was a reception desk that was empty, and on both sides were some chairs and tables, and beyond them were endless shelves of books.

"Well—"

"J-Jin!"

"…Go ahead."

She quickly gives me a peck before rushing off. I'm sure she's just excited to try and find books about the magic system here, and anything relevant to that. But before she turned a corner, I pulled her back using telekinesis.

"Wha—?! W-Why…?"

"Hold on a second, don't be sad… Tell me what you want to look for and maybe I can make it easier on you."

She nods and tells me the kind of books she wants to try and find. I nod, tap her head and her eyes briefly glow confusing them.

"Can you see it? I temporarily gave you—"

"Contacts that can help me find those books?"

She cuts me off and continues. I nodded at her. Rose becomes a bit giddy before kissing me on the cheek and running off again. I swear she's like a child in a toy store… We watch her finally disappear around that corner.

"Do you have any interests, Jin?"

"…Unless they have manga, light novels, or classical literature here, then probably not… Although I'm a bit curious about the true history written in their texts. I guess we can try to look for that, how about you?"

As I ask, Grayfia wraps herself around my arm and shakes her head. I guess she just wants to follow me? To my surprise she nodded.

"Alright, let's go."

Walking through this huge library with Grayfia beside me gave me a strange feeling. I could feel Rose running all over the place. I don't know how many books she wanted to read, but I hope she could slow it down a bit. I mean, how many can she take with her at a time? But I suspect Nephthys can probably, and hopefully pull a few strings to let her take as many as she wants.

Grayfia and I stopped by some shelves to take a look at some books. Some were normal books by authors from all over Egypt. There were some names I didn't recognize and may be exclusive to this reality, however, there were some famous ones such as Ahdaf Soueif, Nawal El Saadawi, and Tawfiq Al-Hakim.

Grayfia became interested in a few, but didn't bother to take them as she said I could just recreate them… I mean she's right, and the ones I've touched, I've already scanned thoroughly and can recreate them as brand-new.

We were enjoying the tranquility of the library until it was abruptly interrupted.

"Jin-sama!"

Nephthys suddenly appeared and hugged my other free arm. Did she finish what she set out to do? I look at her and she nods.

"Whatever book you wish to borrow, the maximum books are fifteen, and the maximum loan period is one year. After that you may renew it, unless someone is waiting for it then unfortunately you must return it, otherwise you can borrow it for another year."

"Is that so? Thank you, I think Rose will appreciate it."

She just smiled at me and nodded. I don't know if having this overly attached yandere is a good thing or not… But I'll just roll with it for now. I think she'll ask for my contact info just before we leave.

"Hey, Nephthys just out of curiosity, which floor has the books about your pantheon's magic?"

"Mmm. I think it's on floor seventeen."

I nodded and thanked her.

'Hey, Rose. According to Nephthys, the books about the magic systems in this realm are on floor seventeen.'

'Thank you!'

Suddenly we saw Rossweisse flying towards the seventeenth floor. I wasn't even sure if you could fly here, so I asked Nephthys.

"Is flying allowed?"

"Yes. However, it wasn't allowed before because of a few incidents of people accidentally crashing into the bookshelves and creating a mess. But when other Gods started to come here on a more frequent basis, they removed it. However, they did put signs everywhere saying that only people experienced with flying can fly in here and they even added a scanner when you enter the building."

She explained and pointed towards the entrance. I glanced back to see some sort of metallic scanner frame around the door. I assumed it was for that, so I didn't comment on it. But I guess they really care about these books, huh? Although it makes sense since some are probably thousands of years old.

"Sounds reasonable enough."

We fly up to follow Rose as Grayfia and I didn't really need to check the rest of the books out. I can just scan the rest and store them, especially the magic books that Rose wants. Once we reached the seventeenth floor, there were quite a few people here unlike on the other floors. And to my surprise, Rose was getting hit one by two guys. Although she is literally ignoring them since she just wants to read.

Also, who the hell hits on someone in a library of all places?

'They have to shoot their shots anywhere, Jin.'

I see, so that's why you've been mostly silent, trying to learn the modern language, eh? I chuckle at him and look back at Rose, but only see that both men were on the ground foaming at the mouth.

Grayfia said with a smirk. Neither did I, Fia, neither did I… The people around them looked at the guys before turning back to their own reading. I guess this is somewhat common then? Since they simply ignored them. We walked over to Rose and explained to her what Nephthys managed to do for us and she was quite happy.

So she goes around picking fifteen books she would like to borrow. Hey, Cúntóir, scan this entire place. I hope to surprise her down the line.

"Haha, yeah, let's keep it a secret for now, alright?"

She nodded and we stood there for another few minutes until Rose was done. As soon as she was done, we headed down to the ground floor, checked out, and started our journey towards the dining/dancing hall Taho.

As we make our way to Taho, we come across a lot of interesting buildings and people. The most notable example was someone who performed on the streets. They were using fire magic and ice to mold them into mini sculptures. Of course, you had to pay for them, so I bought two, and made sure the ice would never melt. The guy started crying after I gave him a hefty sum of money.

Nephthys explained a number of things to us as we passed them by. Rose was busy reading one of her books. She was quite a fast reader since the book was around four hundred pages and she was already a quarter of the way to finishing it.

Tug ~

"That's the strip club."

"…I can see that without you telling me, Nephthys."

"Yes, but you don't need to go there. I will strip for you whenever you wish, Jin-sama."

I simply sigh and lightly chop her head in response. I swear there is something wrong with Gods, maybe even more because she's borderline a yandere…

"…Right."

After the weird exchange, we quickened our pace and eventually arrived at Taho, and it was giant. Honestly it was larger than the library. The building itself is on a small island surrounded by a moat, as strange as that sounds.

"The entirety of Taho is built into the rock. Ra selected the three round roofs as well. As for why? He never told us, although that was a long time ago, so I believe he thought it just 'looked cool', but it's been so long that I doubt he would admit that since it would be embarrassing."

Nephthys' explanation made me chuckle. I guess some Gods weren't born all that mature, huh? Makes them feel a bit more human, and not some high-omnipotent douche bag which I kind of like.

"Is that so? Alright, what can we expect in there?"

But she put a finger to my lips and winked.

"Now, now, Jin-sama. It would be better to find out yourself rather than me telling you ~"

With that, she pulled me along with Grayfia as she still kept hugging my arm, I feel this would be more challenging if Rose wasn't so absorbed in reading her book, so in that was a blessing in disguise.

Once we walked past the small moat, there were some fish I hadn't seen before, probably exclusive to this realm. Maybe I can tell Vidar about this? I mean if he's still interested in collecting them and then dumping them in Rose's hometown lake.

Some guards were stationed near the entrance but they seemed more bored than anything else, and not too focused on 'guarding' this place. The inside was quite spacious and extravagant. I estimate that fifty to sixty percent of this interior was made out of gold, and the rest was marble or normal.

However, what stood out was the amount of small food vendors, restaurants and diners. But that wasn't the only thing here. There were normal clothes shops, book shops, and others. In a way, it was similar to a mall.

My arm was tugged by Grayfia who pointed to the stage in front of us. However, no one was there, but there was a sign that said: 'Start time: 3 PM', so my guess was that this was the 'dancing' part here?

"It's on the first floor, in the middle?"

I asked Nephthys, we were far away from it, but it seemed like many people in here were looking forward to it. Some were in some kind of dress, maybe belly dancing? ...Hmm? Why is she here…? I felt a familiar aura, even though she was supposed to assist Ra in reading through the documents… Ah, whatever, I'll ask her once I see her.

"Let me show you my favorite places to visit. We'll leave the restaurants for last since it's better to have a full stomach before watching them dance, right?"

"I guess so?"

She gave an approving nod before we set off again, Rose was barely able to keep up so I created a small [Mana Rope] that tied us together, so she wouldn't be lost or left behind since this place was quite crowded, even for how big it is, I would say at least eighty percent of it was filled up which was honestly mind boggling.

"A dress shop?"

I asked as we arrived at a very expensive-looking dress shop. Even the dresses that were on display looked very expensive. I would guess only the super wealthy can come here, or I would think Gods and Goddesses.

Nephthys pulled us into the shop and we were greeted by an employee.

"Ah, Mistress Nephthys! Welcome. How may we help you today…?"

She asked a bit confused towards the end as she ended up staring at me.

"Hello Yaminah, we're just here to window shop, maybe even buy something? But we're not sure yet."

"O-Of course, t-take your time, Mistress Nephthys, S-Sir M-Middleman…!"

The employee was clearly nervous, she was even sweating… Before I could do anything, Nephthys pulled us away and started to take us around this large shop, and my guess was right since most items here were hella expansive.

Since it was mostly Nephthys and Grayfia shopping, in those short few seconds, something caught Grayfia's eyes, and she joined Nephthys, I was left standing there with Rose as she was still quite absorbed in her reading. Looking back at her, she was now I would say a third of the way through the book which was surprising.

But before I could strike up a conversation with her, I was pulled away near one of the dressing rooms, and Rose followed suit. Both Grayfia and Nephthys walked into the same room, and I heard some light chatter between them. Honestly, I'm surprised by how easily these two accepted Nephthys. Perhaps it's called that so-called 'woman's intuition'?

The only way I can tell is by using my powers, otherwise I'd probably get finessed by a gold digger or something. I am not a bright man. But the two of them come out eventually, Nephthys was wearing a light purple +dark purple dress that complimented how she looked, the same with Grayfia was she wore a white/silver dress.

"…I-uh, you two look great."

'Especially you, Fia.'

I added that last part telepathically making her blush. Perhaps it's me being biased, but whatever. Nephthys is still an acquaintance at best, she may be friendly to Grayfia and Rose, but to me, she's still a bit… Pushy, I guess? I know she's just obsessed for whatever that weird reason was, but that doesn't mean I'll accept it.

I walk over and touch Grayfia's shoulders and stroke her cheek. Maybe I'm being a little asshole right now but… I feel compelled to do this. I gave her a quick kiss on the lips and when I looked back at her, she was completely red in the face. We— Or I don't usually shower her with affection in public, even more so in front of others, so her reacting like this made sense.

"Do you want to buy this?"

I asked, and quickly glanced at Nephthys who had become a bit teary-eyed out of jealousy. Yeah, I'm—

[You're being an ass, Partner.]

Shut it. I'm not doing it out of malice; I did want to do this to Grayfia. I'll compliment her after, calm your dragon nuts.

"Y-Yes…"

"Great, I'll buy it for you then. You look great too, Nephthys. It suits you."

I turn to Nephthys and give her a thumbs up along with a compliment. She perked up immediately after this. However, all three of us heard fumbling and then someone else came out of another dressing room and… It was Rose. I hadn't even noticed that she had stopped reading, but she came out of a pure white dress, almost a wedding dress and stared at me while blushing.

It didn't look like the Volume 25 cover, but it was close to it, and she looked equally beautiful in it. I involuntarily gulped as she waited for me to say something.

"…Incredible."

Rose immediately turned a deeper shade of red when I muttered that. Of course, that was too much for her as she ran back inside to get changed. However, when she came out, she whispered to me that she wanted to buy it so I was fine with that.

We spent another few minutes inside the store with Nephthys buying more than what she had planned to buy and showing me most of them. When we were ready to pay, we went up to the counter and I paid for Grayfia and Rose's clothing which totaled €15,000. Thankfully I'm rich, or at least have unlimited funds, but that's at least five to seven months' worth of rent for some people.

"Jin-sama, there's a sex shop in Taho. Would you like to see it?"

"…What?"

"It would make sense that you are active with your harem, correct? So it makes sense that you may want to go to such a store?"

She asked confused. We just stepped out of the damn store, why would you ask that kind of question so suddenly? However, most people around us, we too busy to pay us any attention so they didn't hear her, or at the very least just ignored and didn't react to what she said.

"I am, but I'm not going there… Take us somewhere else."

"Very well ~"

After entering and checking out a bunch of stores for the better part of two hours, we were inside a restaurant and were currently eating our food. It was good, and I had already analyzed them and was thinking of ways of adding them to my menu. The three women were talking to each other as I silently ate. I also noticed out of the window that the dancing place was slowly filling up.

The restaurant we were in was on the second floor, and we just planned on watching from up here. We would have a pretty decent aerial view, so it shouldn't be a problem.

"Jin, do you plan on adding a variation of this to your own restaurant?"

Grayfia asked beside me, and I nodded in response.

"Yeah, the food's delicious, and like the other dishes I selected, I'll add my own twist."

"Restaurant? Ah, the one that you will be making once you graduate!"

Nephthys claps her hand. Did these two tell her? I can only assume so. I nodded at what she said.

"I will recommend it to my followers if they ever leave for Japan ~"

"…I appreciate it."

After we ate, we went outside and waited, and it seemed our time was impeccable since the show was about to start. There were multiple women on the stage. Music then started playing and they began to dance. It seemed like they were doing some kind of belly dance. I had seen it online in my previous life, but seeing it in person was a different experience.

Some others joined her, and—

"Wha—?! K-Kuro…?!"

Suddenly a black-haired Kurousagi came out wearing clothing— The same ones as the other belly dancers. She was in her [Alternate War God] form and was belly dancing with it… I wasn't the only one surprised as both Grayfia and Rose were equally surprised as me. However, Nephthys just giggled to herself.

I had felt her earlier when we entered this place, but I didn't think she would be participating in this. But… She honestly looked stunning in what she was wearing, and the way she danced—

"…"

She looked up at us and smiled. It was brief— It was quick, but I'm pretty sure it was aimed at me. I could also feel Rose's own annoyance beside me. The railings we were leaning against, the ones she was gripping had been crushed…

The dancing continued as usual, with Kuro stealing glances at me, to either smile or wink at me. However, the entire thing was well choreographed, and at the end of it everyone clapped, cheered and shouted. It was a success, and many were happy with it. Someone grabbed a mic and told everyone another would be performed shortly after a ten-minute break.

But I felt her aura getting closer as she ran towards us. Her 'heat' was still there, but it wasn't as bad as before. I will try to reduce it further, however without saying a word, she made it to us, and jumped towards me. I caught her and she hugged me quite tightly. I got a few jealous stares, but I ignored them… One of them belonged to Rose.

"Great job, Kuro…"

"Yes! Thank you very much! It was my first time doing something like that, but I knew you were going to be here so I asked if I could participate, and it ended up being a lot better than I thought."

She explained quite happily. I chuckle and pat her head which in turn makes her ears twitch from time to time. She was very obvious with her feelings, and I'm sticking with my plan with her. I'll wait until the festival in the Greek realm. But… It makes me wonder, why did she start acting like this after we left the realm? Did Vera say something to her?

{It's within Vera's character. She might have said something like waiting too long and you not being interested in her, so she's been like this. Of course, Vera might have meant it as a joke too, but we know how Kurousagi was like before her 'change'.}

True, true. Well, I'll try talking to her too when we go back there. As I was about to open my mouth, a communication circle appeared beside me. It seems it is time. It was nearing four in the afternoon so I guess they finally finished reading and reached a conclusion?

"Jin, sorry for interrupting you again, but we are finished. Please come back."

"Yeah, sure thing."

After answering him, it disappeared. Kuro gave me the look that indicated she wanted to join us.

"I'll tell the rest that I will join you, Master Jin."

After letting go of me, she disappeared. Rose settled down after I patted her head to calm her down. I looked at Nephthys as she seemed fine, but... Her jealousy shot through the roof. She had the 'smile' that some of the girls give me from time to time. I guess she wasn't aware of how close I was to Kuro? It didn't take long for Kuro to come back and we headed back to Ra's palace.

Once we arrived, the stack of documents were neatly piled in the middle of the table. Ra… Well, he looked a lot better than yesterday, hell, he was smiling. I mean, I don't blame him, he probably had the joy of adding his own things and looking forward to the Slavic Gods' struggle…

"Jin, we are finished, and as you can see, we have made our decision."

Ra started, and paused as he looked around the room at everyone before continuing.

"We wish to join! We also added our own here."

He pats around ten pieces of paper neatly stacked on top of each other. I'll need to go through that myself before adding anything, but that's the smallest amount that I've seen out of any of the pantheons I've approached.

I summon the single piece of paper and make it float towards Ra. He grabs it reads through it and summons a pen. He signs it first, and then hands it over to Hathoth. The paper was passed around as the other Gods and Goddesses read and signed it.

Finally, came Kurousagi and Nephthys. They both quickly looked over it and signed it. I also signed it and that marked them officially joining.

"Congrats, you finally joined the DxD alliance… Azazel, Sirzechs, Michael and a few other leaders will contact you about a cultural exchange soon enough. And with that, we're done…"

I breathed a sigh of relief, even though I'm immediately heading to Ireland after this, so I don't really have any downtime. Even if I am primarily standing around waiting for them to give me the job/request.

"About payment…"

Ra muttered and looked at me a bit nervously. Well, he did joke about giving me the Goddesses, and he got a punch from Isis just now.

"Just tell Azazel that. He usually just wires it to my account."

I waved him off, and he seemed a bit relieved. Although he did glance at a few of the Goddesses and I just shook my head.

"Very well! You may have Isi—"

Slam!

"…It was a joke…!"

He muttered after pulling his face out of the partially destroyed table. Thankfully, the documents did not fall and I was able to store them all in my [Inventory]. Also, I don't think Isis is the type of Goddess you should joke around with that type of joke. Finally, I turned around. I should just go home now, I mean I still need to hit up Ireland and Prawia. I sighed, no rest for the weary.

"S-So you're leaving already, Jin?"

I hear Ra ask behind me.

"Yeah, I still have other places to do requests for."

"I see, very well. Do come by and visit, and if we need you again, we shall request you."

"Yeah, that's my job after all."

Both Nephthys and Kurousagi looked a bit disheartened but I put a hand on their heads and ruffled them a tiny bit.

"Kuro, I am just a text away, and here is my number, Nephthys. Anyway, I'll see you guys in the future."

I handed Nephthys my number and got a nod from Kuro. Both Grayfia and Rose gathered around me as I looked back at them one last time before leaving.

"...…What is happening…?"

As soon as I teleported back home, I saw Lavinia in the corner of the entrance hallway, sitting on her ass, hugging her legs and her head looking down. A few of the girls were there, but they were standing at a distance.

"Ah, Jin-san… Welcome back."

Asia greeted me and we walked over to them. However, Lavinia's head shot up. She saw me and lunged at me. Perhaps I had been missing for too long? I did miss her too. Geez…

"Er, I'll be leaving pretty soon, actually…"

"I'm going with you…"

She muttered into our hug. Well… I can't argue with that. The more, the merrier, I guess?
