The Penthouse's Memories

"Oh I'm sorry, did it hit your head?" He held Marissa's head, panicked.

But, the question was left hanging because Marissa was too stunned to speak. The man was Blake, when he put off his glasses she finally recognised him. She didn't look properly earlier. Since the man grew a bit of his beard and his hair could be describe as messy, she didn't recognise him.

"Did I scare you? It is me, see…me..Blake…" He was worried seeing Marissa's lips that were pale.

Marissa gulped then finally distanced herself from him. "I'm sorry too, I didn't recognise you since you…" She pointed to the beard.

"Ah…" He touched his chin. "I didn't have time to shave…come straight from the airport…Do I look bad?" He fixed his hair. Twelve hours in a plane, he felt so exhausted but the fact of meeting her kept him going.
