A Birthday Cake For Miss Larisa

The taxi stopped right in front of the lobby. Marissa looked out of the window. It had been a while since she was out in the open place. She usually stayed home or walked to the nearby café with Blake. The thing was, the café was always empty the time they came. So, she never had time to feel anxious or afraid of any people.

"What's the occasion?" She muttered to herself but the taxi driver heard her.

"I heard the chairwoman of the Black Lotus Group is admitted to the hospital, maybe that's why…" The taxi driver tried to explain the reason why there were a lot of people at the lobby of the hospital.

"Ah…" Marissa nodded in understanding. She opened her purse and just realised there was a lot of money inside it. She was stunned but she came to her senses a few seconds after, "Here uncle…" He handed out the money for the taxi ride.
