Company Union

"Ugh~" Nathen opened his eyes as the sunlight fell on his face.

He got up from his bed and did some stretching. He went to wash himself up so he could get a table in the cafe quickly.

It is early in the morning, and many tables might get occupied. He wanted to go to Company Union and find a newly opened company that was also weak.

Luckily, he found a free table in a cafe that was right beside his apartment. Eating some light lunch, he went to the Company Union.

The Company Union was an association that maintained hunters and companies. They standardized and maintained peace among themselves. As any quarrel between hunters or companies was catastrophic. It would only hurt innocents.

The city he was in was called Diba City. It was a couple of kilometers long and was considered top tier among the star system. There was a branch of the Company Union (which, in short, was called CU) in Diba City.

It took ten minutes to arrive at the branch office on foot. He was marveled by the sight in front of him.

Before his eyes stood a high-rise building that looked like it was thirty to thirty-five stories. It was rectangular in shape, and its outer appearance was metallic. The thing he found amusing was the glass, as it looked metallic, but still, he was able to see people inside if he squinted his eyes a bit.

The whole was filled with people of various fantasy outfits, he again thought he was in an anime convention.

Entering the building, he stood in line for the hunter registration encounter. Every day, many people become hunters, so it would always be this packed on this counter.

Close to thirty minutes later, his turn came.

The girl at the counter gave him a quick glance and then asked. "Tell me your name and age."

"Nathen Bornheart, age 18." Nathen answered calmly.

Writing his information and finding his identity on online, the girl pointed at the crystal ball on the counter. "Put your hand on it."

Nathen put his hand on it as she told him.

He knew what this crystal ball was. He had seen many people putting their hands on it and knew about it online too.

This crystal ball could identify what realm a person could be on. For that reason, many weren't able to fake their realms.

If someone put their hands on it, it would glow into a certain color. Light red was Elementary Battle Warrior, normal red was Intermediate Battle Warrior and crimson red was Advanced Battle Warrior. Small silver stars would also pop out, which indicated the rank of that person.

As Nathen expected, a light red color glowed and one silver star showed.

The girl started typing, and shortly after, she handed him a card. She said it with a smile. "Congratulations on becoming a hunter. This is your hunter's card. You can tap on it, and it will show the information about you."

"Thank you." He said that and left the counter.

He went to a bench that was in the lounge. He tapped on it, and it showed his basic information in hologram.

He couldn't help but marvel after seeing this."Technology sure has advanced much!"

Then suddenly, from the corner of his eyes, he saw the guy beside him watching something and laughing. He leaned a little and was stunned by what he saw.

It was him falling into that guy's arms and knocking him out with a scream that looked like it came from a girl who saw a cockroach beneath her feet.

The guy who was laughing while watching this put his arms around Nathen's neck and told him. "Look, this guy is such a pu**y. I bet he had a nightmare that night getting banged by that dude."

Nathen's face darkened as he asked. "Where did you find this video?"

"Oh, it just went viral an hour ago. Now there are so many memes. They edited him and made him knock out Karen and Thanos too."

Nathan didn't say anything, just cursed in his mind at the person who filmed this shame of his.

The guy looked at him and said."Hey, what happened? Why are you saying anything?"

"Huh!?" The guy's eyes widened in shock, and he exclaimed at him by pointing his finger. "You are this girly screamer, dude!"

He whispered in Nathen's ears. "Hey, did you get banged by that guy in the dream?"

Nathan exploded as he grabbed the guy's collar. "No, your mom banged me! Are you happy!?"

The guy shoved his hands away. "Hey man. I was just joking. Also.."

He played something on his phone.

"No, your mom banged me!"

"Haha, I knew you would explode. Now, I can go viral too." The guy ran away after saying that.

"You bastard!" Nathan gritted his teeth while thinking about it.

Meanwhile, the commotion they raised attracted everyone's attention. Everyone was surprised to find out the guy was none other than the recent meme face.

"Haha, I didn't expect to meet him."

"I want to take a picture."

"Let's go, this is a great opportunity to boast with my friends."

Seeing everyone joking and looking at him like a clown, he felt he might punch someone.

A girl bravely came forward and asked. "Do you want to take a picture?"

Nathen gave an angry smirk."I will if you are in the weakest company."

The girl became mad as no one wanted to see their company as the weakest. She blurted out. "You an*led screamer, go die."

The girl left, but those words didn't affect Nathen much.

He looked at everyone and announced. "If you want to take a picture, then you have to be in the weakest company."

Everyone looked at each other and left. If they went, then it would tell everyone that they were in the weakest company.

"Hmph, pus*ys." He scoffed and sighed in his mind. 'How can I find the weakest company?'

However, all of a sudden he heard.

"I am in the weakest company, so can I take a picture with you?"
