Why A Dimensional Chat Group?

In contemporary Japan, Yuu Tachibana lives a seemingly ordinary life with his beloved family. However, Yuu harbors a secret: he has lived a past life in another world, making his current life his second. Having no one to call family in his previous life, Yuu cherishes his family all the more. One fateful night, Yuu discovers an unidentified phone in his room. The message displayed on its screen is cryptic and foreboding: [Do you want to save your family from their terrible fate?] With a sense of dread, Yuu is faced with a choice: [Yes] or [No]. Yuu must decide if he is willing to risk everything to protect his loved ones. Will he choose to save them, or let fate run its course? -------- So, before you jump into the fic, let me address the frustration of some readers, This fic is slow. The Dimensional Chat Group, is not given to the MC in the first or fifth chapter. No, no! Not even in 8 chapter, It decides to make a fashionable entrance in chapter 11. And we don't even get to fully explore it until chapter 15. Isn't that just great? The delay in the chat group's appearance seems to be a point of confusion for many readers. While the chat group is indeed a central aspect of the story, it's important to understand why the MC would use this unknown and potentially dangerous power. If the MC is reckless or unintelligent, the chat group's usage might begin in the first chapter. However, if the MC is depicted as a self-proclaimed genius or cautious individual, the story will reach the point of the chat group's involvement by chapter 3 at the latest, followed by a mission. In the initial 8 to 9 chapters, we get a glimpse into the MC's ordinary existence. He leads a regular life, surrounded by his loving family. He attends school, where he has a small circle of friends. Financially speaking, his family doesn't face any difficulties or hardships. And he is content with this simple, everyday life. Now, you might be wondering, why on earth would a person like our MC take a risk with the Chat Group? Hear me out. He's not some thrill-seeker, or a martial arts enthusiast looking for stronger opponents, nor is he a genius bored out of his mind. He's content with his life, and he doesn't crave anything more. So, why would he put his neck on the line? That's precisely why it takes so long for the Chat Group to enter the picture. The initial chapters focus on showcasing his everyday life with family and friends. It's all about giving you a glimpse into why he wouldn't initially desire the chat group. But, of course, he eventually takes the plunge because he discovers a reason that speaks to him. Now, I know some of you may say, "Hey, couldn't you have summed it up in a single chapter?" Well, sure, I could have, but I didn't want to. Summarizing the MC's relationships and motivations would have resulted in a shallow excuse that you—yes, you—would probably complain about later. Plus, there's more to this story than just his daily life. But enough about that. Let's get one thing straight: this fic is slow. If you're expecting a quick summary with occasional fights and snappy dialogue, do yourself and me a favor by clicking off this fic. You'll find what you're looking for in less than 10 seconds, guaranteed. So, if you're still here after this warning, I don't want to hear any complaints about the story's pace. You've been duly informed. And hey, as you read, try paying a little more attention to uncover the hidden meanings within the dialogues and monologues. Also, I am not saying that I have done a fantastic job on the writing, No that’s not the point of this. The point is that you the reader don’t waste your time reading something you don’t like. And I don’t get 1-star reviews for a reason as petty as ‘The Chat group took too long to appear’ That's all for now. The Reason

"Th-" Before Sanemi could make any more noise an announcement was made.

"Oyakata-sama is arriving," As soon as the voice was heard from inside the house, everyone got in line and kneeled immediately.

Even Shinjuro but he was still yawning which pissed off Sanemi, but he chose to hold his tongue as a voice came from the front.

"The weather is quite nice today, but seeing everyone present makes it even more pleasant," A man with light skin and black shoulder-length hair appeared in front of Yuu.

The man had a gentle smile looking at everyone with his right eye since the curse mark that looked like rotting flesh was spreading all over his forehead and covering his left eye making him unable to see through that eye anymore.

The one Pillars called Oyakata-sama, or his real name Ubuyashiki Kagaya.

'It really looks like it is rotting,' Yuu thought as seeing it with his own eyes was quite something.

"Oi, Kneel down," Sanemi was pissed seeing Yuu still standing looking at Kagaya in the eye.

"Do I need to?" Yuu asked Kagaya directly and it pissed off Sanemi to the point that he was about to attack.

"Stop it Sanemi," Kagaya said making Sanemi stop as he was just a few feet away from Yuu.

"But Oyakata-sama…" Sanemi seemed like he wanted to say something but he was stopped.

"There is no need to make such a demand of an esteemed guest, So, Tachibana-dono there is no need for you to kneel down, I would like to say that to them as well, but they won't listen to me," Kagaya said as this wasn't something he wanted but rather it was what the pillars and all of the demon slayer corps member did on their own.

"I see," Yuu nodded as Sanemi went back to his previous place and kneeled down again.

Shinjuro just gave him a glance seeing the veins appearing on Sanemi's forehead and neck, it looked like they'll burst any second.

"Oyakata-sama, May I inquire about something?" Himejima asked since a few things didn't make sense.

"Feel free to ask Gyomei," Kagaya said as he sat down on the tatami mat floor, he was talking to everyone very causally like one would to their family.

"There has been word going on in the corps that Tachibana-san is a spy, but for Oyakata-sama to address him as a guest, things don't add up," Gyomei said respectfully and the others could see the reason in his words, because if Yuu was really someone who was a guest, then why was there no word of it said to them who were the strongest in the organization.

Since this would help resolve many problems before they crop up. For example, Sanemi seemed to have blanked out from the moment he heard that Yuu was a guest of Kagaya, the news just came as too suddenly to him.

"That happened because we were in the middle of collecting information ourselves, but I didn't think it would become like this," Kagaya said while looking at Yuu but he didn't get a reaction from the latter just as he expected, on the other hand, he could see Kanae being unable to look up.

"It isn't your fault Oyakata-sama, it seems that some of us were a bit too sensitive, But if it turned out to be true I would behead him, Flamboyantly!!" Tengen said a bit too enthusiastically about killing another person.

But even if he said that they were sensitive it was rightfully so, since they can't let the demon catch a whiff of their headquarters as it would be catastrophic.

Muzan was also trying to find out where the Demon Slayer headquarters were located so that he can end them for good.

And here when a pillar was having a fight with an upper moon an unknown person comes in to save them, the person in question was strong enough to trade blows with the Upper moon two as well as being able to retreat safely.

Things were a little too well placed together for it to be a coincidence. So the natural course was to be wary of the said person.

And now that Kagaya who they respected so much had put an end to the thought, since they knew how much he cared for the demon slayer corps.

But there were still some doubts in place…

"I will put the matter of whether he is a spy or not on hold, but I don't think someone like him can be a guest of Oyakata-sama," Sanemi said this since it didn't seem like Yuu had done an extraordinary task that warranted him to be treated this nicely, though he won't admit that he just didn't like the person in question.

"It is because you don't know what he has done," Kagaya said making the pillars other than Kanae curious, they wanted to know what Yuu had achieved for him to be treated this way.

Kagaya could naturally see this and looked at Yuu before speaking.

"Tachibana-dono has come from over the sea and he used to belong to an organization similar to ours," Kagaya said and the eyes of the pillars widened a little at the revelation.

And it wasn't without reason, there was a lot to take in from just those few words, the presence of demons on the other side of the ocean and there being another corps similar to their own, countless thoughts ran through the head of five pillars as they looked at Yuu trying to figure out more about this topic.

But someone caught another detail in the words.

"Used to be? Did they get destroyed by the demons?" Sanemi's question can seem a little insensitive but it wasn't out of order, the demon slayers corps itself has had close calls where it was nearly destroyed by the demons in the long time it has been around.

So, another organization might've not survived. But if this was true, didn't that mean that Yuu ran all the way here and happen to come across them? Or perhaps his organization already knew about the Demon Slayer Corps?

'Did he come to seek help here?' Sanemi thought while looking at Yuu, and it wasn't him alone the others were also looking at the person in question.

Kagaya didn't answer it but looked at Yuu so that he could answer it.

"Our Organization disbanded since we achieved our purpose," Yuu spoke flatly so their thoughts don't run too wild.

"Wait what?" Sanemi's voice was raised as he understood what Yuu meant.

It was also true for the other pillars because if Yuu came from an organization similar to theirs, then their goals should also be similar.

"Your organization completed its goal?" It was the sixth pillar who had barely spoken till now, unruly black hair of uneven length tied in a messy ponytail, he was wearing a haori that split in half over the demon slayer uniform.

Yuu remembered him very well since he was the first pillar to show up in the manga, It was the Water Pillar, Tomioka Giyu.

The goal of the Demon Slayer Corps was to kill all of the Demons, So the Goal of the organization Yuu belonged to should be…

"Yes," Yuu answered in the same flat tone in which Giyu asked him a question. Giyu didn't mind it as it seemed like this was Yuu's natural tone rather than him doing this as a taunt.

"I see," Giyu didn't ask anything further since there was no need to, Seeing that Kagaya didn't say anything to this meant that he knew about it which made sense now that they think about what he said before about gathering information.

And it didn't take a lot of time for the pillars to understand where the information came from.

"Then why did you come here?" Sanemi asked since his previous thoughts seemed to be way off the mark. This was a question that was in the mind of the others as well.

Hearing this Kagaya explained Yuu's reason for being in Japan.

They listened attentively to it since it was another big question in their mind. And after hearing it most of them had weird expressions, it wasn't because of the reason Yuu came here but what he ended up doing.

He came here to look at the country his parents were from but ended up finding demons again, so he stepped into the battlefield again.

All of the pillars had their eyes fixed on Yuu after this, but he didn't seem affected by it, rather he opened his mouth to drive the point home.

"It is my mission to kill the demons, That's all,"
