I always wondered how it would feel to be the Main Character inside a game, in a world where Gods walk among us, how would a character from a videogame survive? Now there might be a liiiiitle problem, I didn't want to become that character. The cover isn't mine, the characters aren't mine apart from MC.
After some checkups to ensure everything was alright, and discovering that a doctor described my current body as fit for 17 years old, we headed out of the hospital and headed home.
The trip was quite awkward no one wanted to talk not knowing what could lead to bad memories.
When we arrived home I told Mom I wasn't that hungry and headed to my room, I needed to do something that made me stronger or my mind wouldn't stop bugging me.
When I sat on the ground I started generating mana, this time though I tried to create other shapes, change their features, or even affect them when in contact with the air.
In the end, I discovered that most of my ideas would require more precise control over mana to do, but others were easily able to be done.

Int +3

That's BDSM shit right there, using your mana to create a rope you can bind your enemies with it to slow them down or directly stop them if your Int is higher than their Str, if a being Str is double your Int then the Bind won't have any effect

Mana Shield Lv.1
Something is rising, and this time it's a shield, who would have guessed? Using your mana you can create a sphere around you that can reduce the by (Sk Lv x10)HP if the hit doesn't fully destroy the shield, you can use your mana to rebuild it, at higher levels you can stack shields.
Cost: 100 MP
Stealth Lv.1
You sneaky magical motherfucker, coating your body with mana you can reduce the sound created by it while moving or while standing still.
Cost: 10 MP/min

After some reflection I also decide to use all my current status points in Wis, my Mp regen was dog shit, and considering Wis, Per, Cha, and Luck were the only stats I still had found no way of constantly training, using my points for this would be the best decision.
My Wis rose straight to 29, instead, my Mana regen rose to 0.70 MP, doing some quick math I discovered that The Game rounded up for both the HP and MP regen.
With my current MP regen when I meditate it triples to 2,1 a minute, so it takes only 100 minutes to get back to 200 MP.
Feeling much more confident I take a look at the just-arrived quest, pondering what I should do with it.

---------------------
'Being a Hero, or to be more accurate a vigilante since I haven't been accepted by the police as a hero, but still, going out in the middle of the night to fight crime, what am I? Batman?.'
Even though my mind was trying to tell me to not do it, the implication of someone dying because I couldn't help made me stop from refusing it.
'Ah fuck it.' I think while clicking the Yes button.
Now that was sorted I checked the house Using my instant dungeons to see if everyone was asleep, when I saw everyone still sleeping, I went back to my room, to wear some clothes and a mask to cover my body and face and use it once again to get outside to not alert anyone of my absence.
In the end, I come out wearing a thick black hoodie, black cargo pants, some mountain boots that my dad had once gifted me that I rarely wore, and a hockey mask from when I wore a Jason costume.
I used Observe on all the pieces and I discovered that some of them gave bonuses, for example, the mask gave a +10% chance to intimidate enemies, the hoodie reduced blunt damage, and the boots Fall damage.
'Not bad, I might search for some weapon shop in the future, might find some useful things.'
While thinking that I also decided to take out the butterfly knife from my inventory and place it inside one of the pockets in my pants, easy to get, but not easily visible from outside.
Happy with my get-up, I ran to the nearest alley and got out from my instant dungeon.
'Now, let's see if those tutorials were true.'
Looking around I found the nearest fire escape, pushed a dustbin near it and used to jump on the ladder and climb myself up.
---------------------
New Skill: Parkour( improves his ability to do parkour)
---------------------
Happy with the reward, I climb the fire escape and get on the roof of the building to take a look around the area, trying to think of possible locations where crimes could happen.
'OK think Sam, criminals are people who are afraid, afraid of dying, being found, and getting caught, so they will try to stay as far as possible from big or populated areas, alleys, parks, and gas stations are fit exactly this description.'
I looked around and after deciding which one was the nearest building, I started jumping from roof to roof while inspecting every alley.
After 30 minutes my hesitation had disappeared, my Parkour skill had reached level 5, and my Running skill reached level 7.
The feeling of risking your life when jumping from one building to another was quite addicting, the adrenaline that came with it felt amazing, but every good moment has to end.
After the nth jump, I finally found what I was looking for.
A fainted woman was getting undressed by a man with a knife on her neck.
I stopped myself from jumping down on him and instead summoned a Spinning Mana arrow and aimed on towards his back, worried that the hit might lead to his death if aimed at his head.
The arrow flew silently in the night, its presence only proven because of the light it emitted.
Faster than the rapist could react, the arrow struck against his back and instantly made him fall to the ground.
A few seconds later while holding his back he got up and tried to instead what was going swinging his knife left and right.
'So it's not enough to kill a human being, the hit seems to have caused some serious injuries on his bones though.'
I whistled to attract his attention, hearing it his head snapped towards me, but the only thing he saw was an arrow coming for his face.

You have defeated a Lv.9 Thug
+90 XP

' But a hit to the head is enough to make him faint with a serious concussion.'
Using the nearby fire escape I got down don't the ground, and tried to wake the girl.
When she woke up it took a while to assure her I wasn't the rapist but I was the one that had helped her.
" Listen, I will leave now, call the police and wear some clothes, see ya," I said while climbing the build to escape the alley.
The girl looked at me for a good minute while I was going away, and just before I couldn't hear her anymore she thanked me for saving her.
'Well, that felt better then I thought.'
