Chapter 6 Magic

In the middle of the night, something finally happened that me an official Wizard and fulfilled everyone's dream, of being able to do magic.

After using Meditation until midnight, I stopped mid-session and used Dopamine Rush to receive that sweat XP boost.

And finally, around 4 am I received the best notification of my life as The Gamer... so two days.

Current Base MP regen: 0.10 + 0.02(20%) ( Yes Mp regen will be a bit slow at the start to not make him too broken)

HP regen with Meditation: 1.7 +3.4

MP regen with Meditation: 0.10 +0.20

By reaching level 10 in Meditation you have unlocked a New Perk: Mana Manipulation

While others have to use complicated formulas or bullshit like that, you as The Gamer have complete control over your own Mana and can use it however you wish, your ability to use Mana is purely based on your Int.

'OH MY FUCKING GOD.'

Without wasting time I got up and tried creating a Kamehameha, but after realising that might cause my roof to fall on top of me, I instead simply tried to summon a ball in my right hand.

And there it was, a blue glowing ball around 10 cm wide floating a centimetre above my hand.

Something that made me quite happy was the realization that summoning Mana didn't use MP

'Maybe The Game registration the usage of mana only if it interacts with the world around, this ball of Mana even though glowing isn't doing anything apart from existing, so maybe it was to do this...'

This time instead of just summoning a mana ball, I went inside an ID and tried to solidify and shape the mana in a new shape, when I was satisfied with the result I launched the mana against the wall, causing a hole in it.

Mhhh reminds me of something, you are able to immediately shape mana in the form of an arrow and launch it against enemies, the trajectory must be calculated by the Gamer, and the damage is (Int x Sk Lv.) magical damage, some enemy will have higher Magical Defense then others

You are a Mage Samuel, improves your ability to manipulate mana and create new magic

I ignored the notification and instead inspected the damage caused by the mana arrow.

'Mhhh it is quite good, but I feel like I can do something to improve it.'

After thinking for another minute I realized one of the things that made small objects truly dangerous.

I summoned a Mana arrow but I didn't launch it instead I ordered the mana to start spinning around itself, and after several tries, I was able to constantly maintain it without having to pay much attention to it.

I launched the arrow once again and this the wall had a much bigger hole.

Changes:

The damage remains the same but (Sk Lv.)% will be converted to piercing damage.

Cost: 20 MPx Arrow

The spinning can be turned off to save on the MP usage.

'That's what I talking about.'

I was tempted to fake being ill again and stay home to continue the grind, but considering how my Mom was a Nurse I had no chance of that working against her.

While singing I get out of the ID and start meditating.

After two hours of meditation, I was called for breakfast by my lovely Sister.

"DICKHEAD MOM MADE BREAKFAST."

Yep, how lovely she is.

Getting up I head downstairs, eat breakfast without losing much time and get out, only to be stopped by my mom.

" Samuel Adams, what is going on with you?"

"What you mean Mom?" I said with a calm tone.

'HAS SHE FOUND OUT ABOU THE GAME?' I wasn't actually that calm though.

" You go out before your usual time, you didn't even play for a second yesterday, I saw some books in your backpack that weren't related to school subjects, and lastly your principal called to tell me you got involved in a fight."

" You won?" My father asked.

" You lost?" My sister asked.

"THAT IS NOT THE POINT." My mom shouted to the two.

I turn to my father and nod, he gets what I mean and smiles while murmuring *That's my son*.

" I simply got fed up with the bullies and taught them a lesson."

" And you simply started a fight? You could have talked with us, I am you, Mother."

" I wanted to take care of it by myself, and for the record, I didn't start it, I ended it."

That made a chuckle escape from my father, but after my mother turned towards him he turned away and continued sipping his coffee.

"Sam... you have to tell me if something is wrong." This time her voice sounded less imperative and more worried, she is a mother after all, it's in her genes to be worried.

" Don't worry Mom, I got it all figured out, I simply want to change, I realized that I had started to fall behind the others and I don't for something like that to happen."

My mother continued looking at me for a LONG minute, but then she sighed, hugged me with all her strength and told me to get out before I was late.

'Yep, I love my mom.'

After getting out I start my daily run to school, but this time I decided to take a shortcut, something that I didn't predict would happen.

" Put everything you have on the ground if you don't want another hole in your body."

Yep, I was being robbed.
