For the first time, I was under that stare, but I was calm, I knew I was supposed to be panicking and fearful, but Gamer's Mind was just that broken, to not let it happen.

" I was being chased after getting surrounded by them, there was another guy that attacked me first but I was able to take him down," I told her so calmly that even I was surprised.

All heads spun towards me, the athletes in fear of what I had just caused, and the principal that I was actually able to speak, but that surprised me immediately disappeared from her face and she returned to her normal one.

" Oh really? Then I guess I will have to take a look at the CCTV to ensure you are telling the truth, in the meanwhile..."

She didn't finish the phrase, instead used her finger to tell the athletes to follow her.

While they started walking away I used Observe on the principal to understand why she so fucking scary.

Immediately turning away I rushed back to my class, hoping I won't ever have to face her.

The rest of the day was quite boring, used Obseve on whoever I thought might be a fucking powerhouse and tried to not act strangely when I was near Peter, which rewarded me with the Acting and Lying skill, and my first point in Cha for trying to act natural.

I got a few levels in Science and math, and a point in Int and Wis, so not a bad day considering I spent most of the day just listening and trying to not fall asleep.

' One point away from 20 Int, and 10 Wis... a fuck it.' I thought while using my status points on the two.

I was tempted to meditate the whole day, but I refrained from doing it to not attract attention, who knows if a magician could feel my mana... ok maybe I am just paranoid now.

After saying goodbye to Peter, seeing the bullies getting dragged away by their parents, and writing a message to my parents to tell them I would return a bit later than usual, I readied myself for a full afternoon.

After heading to Central Park with the metro I found a nice spot where no one could see me and activated ID creation, the idea of someone seeing me made me cringe.

Because I was about to do one of the stupidest things of my life.

Approaching the nearest tree I take the boxing position I took against the bully and after taking a big breath... I punch the tree.

I waited a second, and after seeing no pain coming, I smiled and continued punching the tree, after a full minute, and 60 HP less, I had gained just what I had expected.

The smile on my face became even wider, and after continuing for another minute and reducing my HP to 20, I sat down on the ground and started meditating, making my HP regen 2.86 per minute, which means it will take 38 minutes to be back to full health.

I didn't care about the time required, and immediately continued meditating, the moment my HP went back to full the skill automatically deactivated as if listening to my will.

I got back up and continued hitting the tree and after a minute and a half, I noticed that the damage pop-up had stopped appearing the moment my Hard Hand skill got the level 5 and my Str and Vit reached 15.

'PERFECT.'

Now that the possibility of dying went out of the frame I became a well-known anime character and started hitting the tree non-stop, well I couldn't actually move that fast, but you got the idea.

Happy with the results I came out of the ID and finally noticed how late it actually got, so I started rushing back home while writing a message to mom to assure her everything was alright.

I had another night of grinding that was waiting for me, and the idea made me excited.
