Who is My Mate?

Having two mates is an incredible gift for a weak girl who cannot change shifts. It's not that she can't, she just hasn't been able to because someone has to keep up with her because the power inside her is so great. Asthon has rejected Daisy as his mate, but there's one Alpha who hasn't. Will Daisy be able to become the powerful Luna? Or will her fate be the same as before? "Have we met before?" asked a man with a probing gaze, scrutinizing the face of the beautiful hazel-eyed girl. "No," she replied as she lowered her head to avoid the blue sapphire gaze that made him feel hypnotized. The man laughed lifting the chin of the girl before him. "I don't like a liar." "Excuse me, Alpha." The girl walked hurriedly, she didn't want the same incident to happen again. "Mate," someone said as he closed his eyes. "She's been on the edge for too long, I'm not sure if you can make her happy after what you did to her." "I can make her happy because she is my Mate." His assertion was undeniable. "Who do you mean by your Mate?" "Daisy."

3. Your Choice

The sound of banging on the door made the 18-year-old girl open her eyes spontaneously. Her breathing was ragged as she was still lying on the bed that was worn and hard. She squealed when her hair was pulled again. She pleaded several times but all in vain.

"You've made Luna angry. Don't you know that what you broke was Luna's favorite vase," the 45-year-old woman shouted with a flushed face.

"I didn't drop it on purpose. If only Miss Abigail hadn't bumped into me then everything would have been fine," Daisy said, holding her hair to ease the pain.

The woman released her grip on Daisy's hair. She swung her hand and landed right on Daisy's right cheek, making a distinctive slapping sound.

"Mommy." Daisy held her sore cheek. She looked up at Marie with a tearful pleading gaze.

"I'm not your mother! I'm here as the head of Omega. Don't you ever call me Mom because I don't have a weak daughter like you." Marie said firmly.

Marie stomped out of the rundown room where Daisy lived.

Daisy could only stare at Marie's retreating back. She was sure that in her little heart, Marie still held affection for her.

Marie, the head of Omega who first proposed herself as a mother to her. The incident happened 11 years ago when Daisy didn't remember anything and found a couple of dead bodies lying next to her, allegedly due to Rogue's attack. Daisy was rescued by the Wariors, her innocence and beauty attracted Marie's attention. So Marie adopted Daisy as her daughter.

All of Marie's affection changed when Daisy couldn't change shifts on time, like the other Werewolves. Although she was only an Omega, she should also be able to change shifts despite having below-average abilities.

"I miss you, Mom." Daisy got off the bed. She walked over to the 60x40cm window.

There was nothing interesting out there except the view of the lush forest. However, to Daisy it was all very beautiful.

"Moon Goddess. Am I going to continue living like this?"

'You'll be much better off if you leave this damn pack," Clara said. She seemed to have had enough of being in a pack that had tormented her for so long.

"I can't leave. There are so many Rogues out there, they could eat me."

Clara rolled her eyes. "What's so hard about you joining them and becoming a rebel. Isn't that a good idea?"

"Are you looking to die, Cla?"

'No, I'm not. I'm just imagining things.'

Daisy smiled slightly. She folded her arms across her chest. She had always wanted to go hunting in the forest like any other werewolf. Switching shifts with her wolf and chasing game with burning passion. However, Daisy realized that she couldn't change shifts, or rather couldn't change shifts yet.

***

Tonight is the celebration of the installation of the new Alpha. Alpha Damarion will step down from the throne and pass the throne to his son, Asthon Halbert.

The entire Red Moon Pack seemed happy to welcome their new Alpha. There were also a few invited Alphas and Lunas from various Packs. They all mingled from Pack to Pack. Their faces were beaming and so was Daisy-Mate Asthon. However, Daisy could not mingle with the nobles because her job was an Omega and provided food for the nobles.

"Daisy." Lucy patted the shoulder of Daisy who was arranging beautiful glasses. One glass almost fell over, but luckily Lucy caught it.

"Don't surprise me, Lucy. I don't want to make a mistake on this happy day."

Lucy kept the fresh fruits on the table. She glanced at the many nobles present, the first row reserved for Alpha and Luna. She smiled at the sight of the dashing Alphas accompanied by their beautiful, graceful, and charming spouses.

Lucy's eyes narrowed at the sight of a beautiful woman sitting alone without a partner. She knew that she was from the Dark Moon Wolf Pack. The largest Pack among the others, led by an Alpha who was ruthless, cold, and haughty.

'Is the Alpha of that Pack absent?' Lucy wondered.

Daisy chuckled. She shook her head at Lucy who was watching the Alpha and Luna lineup. Daisy knew what was going through Lucy's mind, the woman must be imagining herself with one of them. Even though Lucy already had a Mate who was currently serving at the border.

"Let's get back to the kitchen. There's still a lot of work to be done," Daisy said as she pushed Lucy's body.

"Don't push me!"

"You've been watching them. You should be grateful to have a Warior mate. Usually Omegas have mates from the, sorry... bottom."

Lucy put her arm around Daisy's shoulders. She felt like the luckiest person on earth. Most Omegas had mates who worked as laborers out there and their lives were not guaranteed. Maybe in the Palace, Omega was considered the lowest, but out there there were still many people who were struggling and even became slaves of the nobility.

"Do you have a mate?" Lucy asked.

Daisy stopped her steps. She smiled awkwardly and just shook her head. There was no way Daisy was going to tell Lucy now because Asthon had told her to keep this a secret and he would tell everyone at the right time.

'You can't tell anyone that you're my Mate because I'll tell them who my Mate is.'

Those were Asthon's words two years ago after they found out they were mates.

I haven't found it yet," Daisy replied softly as a beautiful smile spread across her luscious lips.

"Sooner or later you will find him. Your Mate must be very happy to see your face. You're very beautiful, Daisy." Lucy complimented.

Lucy observed Daisy from top to bottom. She was the most beautiful woman in the Pack and if only fancy dresses and jewelry were attached to her body, her aura would shine through. Lucy liked everything about Daisy. She had hazel eyes, dark arched eyebrows, a sharp nose, lips as small and red as rose petals and Daisy had bunny teeth.

"You can't look at me like that."

Lucy laughed and they both returned to their duties. Controlling the fruit, drinks and food on each of the long tables and serving the nobles who asked them for banquets.

Daisy developed a smile. She had served the guests very well before the show started. Her eyes fell on a man who was sitting in the corner and daydreaming. The aura of the man was very strong, it seemed like he disliked crowds.

Daisy widened her eyes when their gazes met, Daisy quickly broke eye contact between them.

A smile spread across Daisy's lips as she saw Asthon wearing the crown. Tonight he was officially an Alpha.

'We actually deserve to be with Asthon. You're so beautiful, Daisy,' Clara said from inside.

"It's only degree that separates us." Daisy returned Clara's gaze with a sad look. Her gaze did not leave Asthon who looked very dashing and handsome at the same time.

"Before that, I would like to introduce a woman to all of you. She is the one destined by the Moon Goddess to accompany me." Asthon's gaze flicked to Daisy with a mysterious smile.

Everyone was whispering in curiosity about Luna from the Red Moon Pack.

"I'm sure Alpha's mate must be a very beautiful and powerful woman," said Omega, who was standing to Daisy's right.

"She is... Daisy Caroline."

Daisy was very happy and so was Clara, the wolf jumped in there. Daisy walked forward ignoring the stares people gave her.

Asthon looked at his mom and dad. They were both so surprised by what Asthon had just said.

"She is my mate." Asthon put his arm around Daisy's shoulders gently. "Daisy, the Omega who cleans my room every morning. She's very diligent but that doesn't make up for her weaknesses." Asthon laughed mockingly at Daisy and everyone else did the same.

Daisy squeezed the hem of her dress while biting her lower lip.

"For the glory and good of us all, then I decide."

Asthon looked deeply at Daisy.

Daisy felt the nervousness of all the pairs of eyes just staring at the two of them.

"Daisy," Asthon called softly.

Daisy shook her head at what Asthon was doing. The smile as bright as the morning sun rising from her lips was gone.

Everyone was shouting and rejoicing at what Asthon had decided to do. They looked happy, but not the pair of eyes that looked at Asthon with hurt.

"So this is your choice, Asthon."
