"That creepy rabbit beast is dead?" he glanced at the rabbit and found it lying peacefully without any movements.

He quickly checked the system for other notifications.

"No notification for beast crystal? and only 50 exp??" he was astonished.

He quickly checked for beast crystal thinking that some notifications might have stopped showing up after system upgrade.

He opened his status bar only to find a new translucent black screen with violet words on it.

He did not care a lot about status window's new theme and color. He shrugged it off thinking it was a change that was supposed to occur after first kill.

He glanced at the three beasts he was fighting and found that they were keeping their distance with him after the Metal Kaapi's unsuccessful weak attack.

He wanted to check out the full extent of his new stat RESISTANCE before putting all his stats into it.

He was sure that it was only because of his Resistance stat that he was able to ignore attack from Metal Kaapi.

Before he could rush to the three beast to engage in combat another notification popped up.

[ Unlocked Tutorial ]

Before he could check what kind of information was in tutorial and its function, a new notification popped up which overshadowed all previous messages and notifications.

QUEST

[ Survive 30 minutes with 25 HP least ]

"HP ?? When did I get such stats? Is it another stat after the new window ?"

"And what is this Survive?? I am only facing three intermediate tier beasts. I am more than capable of killing them."

He snorted glancing at the three beasts in front of him. He turned his head away before freezing.

He slowly turned his head back to glance at the beasts while glancing all around him. He found that he was encircled with more than twenty intermediate tier beasts.

" Survive meant this..??" He felt chill all over his body. It was possible for him to kill three beasts slowly in 30 minutes of time but this...

He opened his status while not trying to agitate any beast by glancing at them.

"I have total of 50 HP which means I have to survive with half of my HP for total of 30 minutes."

"If all twenty or more beasts do not end up attacking me together then there is a chance that i would win. But it is not possible."

He thought of distributing his 39 remaining stats point. If he did so then he could easily kill his way out.

"I don't think distributing stats would take a lot of time. One second is enough to distribute all my stats."

He decided not to use his stats now and fight without it. He wanted to know the limits of his RESISTANCE.

The beasts also did not wait for him anymore. They waited for around ten seconds because Roan did not move.

He was standing with a blank face while being encircled by them. The beasts were wary in the beginning but after finding out that Roan did not dare to attack, they dashed at him.

In twenty or so beasts, there were that Golden monkey from before and three Humanoid Hydra.

Rest of the beasts consisted of a pack of wolves with eight members, one giant snake, three different species of flight capable birds and four humanoid beasts that he could not recognize.

It was some strange beasts like Metal Kaapi. It looked like an impure humanoid dragon with no tails.

Except for them there were two giant toads which had their mouths open. Acidic liquid was dripping from their mouths which made tzzz sound.

"At least they wouldn't be attacking me together." Roan thought

There were different types of beasts surrounding him. Not counting the strange humanoid beasts and flight capable beasts there was still a pack of wolves.

If the wolves fought him in close combat then there was no way that other beasts would attack him during that. They could not even if they wanted to.

Long range attackers and unique ability beasts could only hold back as to not hurt their comrades.

If the beasts were not sure of their attack exactly landing on Roan then they wouldn't dare to attack.

The first species that rushed to him were the wolves. They did not underestimate him and rushed together with all eight of them.

Roan was busy thinking but it did not mean he was not wary. He dodged the wolves white claws while trying to not get near the beasts encircling him.

He checked the quest notification for last time to check if there was a countdown or not. He found that the countdown had already started after the quest appeared.

"15 seconds have passed" he sighed while utilizing Wind path to dodge the wolf's claw.

He could not move long distance because of the barrier created by remaining beasts. He had to slow down before abruptly bumping into them.

He dodged two more simple claw attack aimed at his chest by jumping and dodging to his left.

The wolves made a small circle surrounding Roan. They could not hit him with their current speed that was why they could only narrow their distance between him.

"Another encircling, the distance is only two meters. I don't think it would do with dodging only."

He clutched the small knife in his left hand and sighed. He glanced at the Demyr and the knife stuck into its neck.

He only had small knife for attack which could not help much in his situation. He needed a weapon at least a feet or more in length.

One of the eight wolves encircling him dashed at him with its claws aiming at his neck.

He was already reinforcing his leg with 2 energy stat per minute. He wanted to test out his physical strength against the wolf.

He already had superior speed and it was easy to dodge because of his skill Wind path.

He stepped to the right while keeping his left hand to guard an attack from behind his back and kicked at the wolf's head while maintaining his balance.

DONG!!

The wolf was caught off guard, it did not expect Roan to not only dodge but also attack it. Head was a vital and vulnerable part for most of the beasts.

Roan did not use his full strength but it was still bleeding from its ears.

Two wolves dashed at him from his left and right direction. He could only dodge and could not attack.

He hurriedly moved back only to get clawed by another wolf on his back. He hurriedly moved to his right which helped him negate most of the damage.

[ -3 HP ]

" -3 even when I dodged the most of it??" Roan was dissatisfied with the HP reduction but it did not help him in hi fight.

He concentrated on the wolf which wounded his back. This time he took initiative to attack. He swiftly rushed to the wolf and put two points of energy in his legs.

Normal two points of energy was enough to reinforce his body for one minute while fighting.

Putting two more points of energy could put strain on his legs or could even damage them. Because of the resistance stat, his legs did not feel much pressure because from it.

His body was now more stronger than before, containing the potential to handle more energy.

The wolf also dashed to him. In frontal confrontation Roan used his legs to kick the wolf's head without caring for any attack from behind.

CRACK !!

The wolf's head shattered making it incapable of any movements let alone retaliation.

Roan did not stop here, he rushed to rest of the six wolves. Another wolf was kicked in its stomach while one had its limb shattered.

"I still have the energy running amok. I can still kick seven or eight times." Roan said before rushing to the four remaining wolves.

In frontal confrontation he could easily win because of his 19 points of strength and reinforce.

With his speed, it was easy to dodge the attacks he could see but what helped him most of all was Green lens. He used it on four wolves and it worked every time.

Four of the remaining wolves rushed to him together. He dodged to his left swiftly while moving his leg and knife to attack the wolf on the very left.

He used the wolf as cover making the other three wolves attack useless. They could not attack because of wolf's abrupt standing in between only to get kicked.

Now only three wolves remained standing. He could easily dodge with the experience of his previous attacks. He used his knife to stab one of the wolves while using lens on the second.

He did not take his knife out and shattered the head of second wolf under illusion. He rushed to the third wolf and used his full strength finally without any care for his back.

The wolf clawed at him while jumping a height of two meters but it only got its mouth kicked from beneath.

It was easy for Roan to jump, he used his right leg and swung it upward to hit the wolf's head.

CRACK!

The wolf's head shattered causing an instant death.

Without stopping he dashed to all the other injured wolves to quickly shatter their head and claim their lives.

He got eight killing notifications before more beasts rushed in to fill the places of wolf pack.

It took him a total of five minutes to deal with wolf pack.
