The two friends were seen discussing with each other and not minding the stares of of others. Both admiringly and jealously.
They seemed to not notice a girl with a petite figure, holding books twice her size and struggling to take a step forward with a stern face.
They kept walking and realized something when it was already too late.
'' THUD! '' the sound of book falling and and a frightened girl was heard.
'' Jeez! how did a person appear from nowhere? '' Damon grumbled and finally decided to be a gentleman alongside Tristan and help the invisible person pick their books.
'' Damn! this books are heavy! who the hell was strong enough to carry them? '' Damon complained and finally saw Tristan giving the books he picked to a young teen. No a kid!.
'' Tristan how heartless can you be? why are you giving this heavy books to a kid? aren't we supposed to look for the person who fell with the book? '' Damon asked compassionately looking at the petite kid.
'' Uh? what do you mean? she's the one who fell with the books! '' Tristan defended himself.
'' What do you mean by she's the one who fell with the books? '' Damon was speechless.
'' I am '' the girl said softly. And once again Damon looked awkward and even more speechless.
'' Just hand her the books! we are running late for class. I really don't want to miss Mr James class! '' Tristan called out and Damon recovered from his daze and handed the books to the kid. He couldn't help but shake his head.
' what is that kid doing with those books that's supposed to be for final year students? ' Damon thought.
By the time he came out of his thoughts, Tristan was gone.
' That Fool! '
He went to the classroom and saw Mr James already teaching and couldn't help but curse himself. He's screwed for sure.
'' Young man you can just take lessons from outside the class. I won't tolerate any late comers. '' Mr James said to Damon sternly.
'' Sir it wasn't intenti...''
'' I dont care! leave my class now! ''
'' Sir I was hel...''
'' I said leave my class now! ''
'' ...sigh ''
Damon was about to leave when a voice said.
'' Sir he was helping a kid who fell with her heavy books. please spare him. '' The voice belonged to Tristan.
'' Humph! such a good student you are. Why didn't you say so earlier? come have your seat and join the class. '' Mr James tone changed dramatically.
''...''
He found his seat and was shocked by his new seatmate.
' Isn't she the kid? what is she doing here? as my seatmate? '
'' Hi. I'm Hannah. '' the girl smiled weirdly to Damon. Or maybe it's just his subconscious.
'' Uh... sir! I need a new seat at the front row.'' Damon asked quickly.
'' You are free. It's good you are eager to learn. '' Mr James smiled.
...
At the cafeteria,
Damon and Tristan sat opposite each other with silence.
'' Okay I'm tired of this! can you focus on your food and stop thinking about that girl? '' Tristan asked feeling anxious.
'' She's weird. '' Damon finally spoke.
'' Damn dude! there's nothing wrong with her. She's just a girl with a kid-like body! '' Tristan half-laughed.
Just then, a girl was seen in another table table holding a plate of raw meat and staring at Damon.
Damon and Tristan was startled.
'' Oh yeah... she's definitely weird! '' Tristan gulped down his spit.
