Coincidence?

Mrs. William's Apartment
As Tara's car approached the house, she instantly spotted Nancy and Jada waiting and waving at her, the girl let out a smile on seeing her friends. She parked her car and joined them.
"Oh my God, my mom must not know I am missing school today but who cares… I am spending the day with my girls!!!", Tara excitedly said while swinging her car keys.
Nancy and Jada both hugged her and they made their way into the house.
"My mom just left for work some minutes ago, she knew we would not be going anywhere today… obviously because of yesterday", Jada said as the girls walked towards her room.
"So does that mean we have the house to ourselves today? We should invite boys", Tara jokingly said, making her friends laugh.
As soon as Tara got to Jada's room, she turned to Nancy and gave her another hug.
"I am so sorry all that happened to you baby", she sympathized, staring at Nancy's smiley eyes.
Nancy had made a video call with Tara last night to tell her she might not be coming to school and this had made the girl worried about what happened, Nancy who had nothing to keep any more from her trustworthy friends let it out.
"You have me and Jada now, forever", Tara assured before pulling out her shoes and sitting on the bed.
"And you are going to New York, ignore your uncle and try your best, I bet you will be chosen", Jada encouraged.
Nancy smiled and looked at her friends, she wore Jada's purple pajamas and her white Barbie shirt.
"Thank you guys… you two have no idea how much I love you", Nancy said.
The girls made an Aww sound.
"So let us ignore all that and talk about why this guy in school would not stop liking all my pictures like what!!!!", Tara complained as she showed her friends who had hurried to her the guy's account.
"He is not even that attractive, what!!! Why is he dressed like that", Jada mocked and laughed along with her friends.
"I mean, he has no chance with me, I have enough college guys in my DMs, not his weird a** looking… oh my God, Nancy! What about Jay? Have you two talked", Tara asked, now fluttering her eyelashes at Nancy for a response.
Jada stood up and walked towards the door.
"Mom made some pasta, I would bring some… I am damn hungry", Jada said before walking out.
Nancy lay on the bed, her legs resting on the bed and her eyes fixed on Tara's green eyes.
"I don't know, guess he is good. We talked for a bit yesterday and that is it, do you want his Instagram name?", Nancy offered, and almost immediately Tara searched around for Nancy's phone.
She was still taking Jay's username when Jada returned with a tray filled with plates of Carbonara pasta.
"Your waitress is here", Jada said.
"Jada! Guess whose username I have now", Tara exclaimed.
Jada gently put down the tray of food on the bed.
"How can I guess when you have thousands of guys…", Jada answered.
"Jay!!!!" Tara shrieked.
Jada who was about to go out to get some juice and the forks she had forgotten to add to their food, raised one eyebrow and gave her friend an uninterested look.
"Congratulations Jay's wife", Jada answered before walking out.
Tara turned to Nancy, still smiling.
Several hours passed, and all that the girls did was laugh and talk about everything including Jada's first night with her girlfriend which just talking about it gave her friends butterflies because of how detailed she was.
It was 4:10 pm and the girls were lying on the bed disorderly, Tara suddenly sat up and stared at her phone.
"Guys, there is this series I would love you two to watch with me, it is a series on Netflix and I just saw now that it is released", Tara said while looking at her friends who were still lying lazily on the bed.
"But Mom didn't get Netflix… how do we watch it", Jada replied in a tired voice.
Tara took a glance at the time and hurried up, l have Netflix at mine.… let us go watch it at home…, come on guys" " she said, and instantly her lazy friends groaned.
After almost half an hour of getting ready, the girls set out to Tara's car.
"If mom is home and she asks if we go to school, you two know the answer", Tara had reminded her friends before driving off Jada's apartment.
The distance from Jada's place to Taras' was almost twenty minutes drive.
Nancy and Jada's eyes widened at the view of the apartment, a duplex nestled among towering trees and blooming gardens, its facade boasted intricate architectural details. With a pathway lined with vibrant flowers, the exterior walls are painted in a soft shade of cream.
Nancy and Jada admired the whole apartment as they stepped out of the car, glancing at how neat and beautiful Tara's house was.
Anyone could tell Tara came from a rich home from how elegant she looked, and her charisma in school.
The girls stepped in and figured it was even more beautiful on the inside, the large living room, elegant Chandeliers hung above casting a soft glow that illuminated the room in the evening.
"Let me put down my bag and join you two in the living room for our movies!!! I'm so excited", Tara had said before disappearing into one of the rooms.
The pleasant smell immediately welcomed them as they got in.
Nancy was still glancing through and walking toward the kitchen when the back view of a boy doing the dishes caught her attention.
She immediately thought he looked familiar.
"Short ruffled blonde", Nancy thought as she took a step forward, his side view immediately made her pause, stare, unmoved and unblinked.
Chills raced through her skin as she kept staring at him.
"Nolan?".
