After settling Blake into his bed, Jake joined his uncle at the garage who had taken Hillary and Dr David there. He had wanted to get rid of the woman once and for all, but he had been surprised to hear the revelations which were being made.
"What did you just say?" He turned to his uncle who had just muttered something unbelievable.
Did he just hear him say Hillary was responsible for his mother's death?
Adrian sighed when he saw the bewildered look on Jake's face. He slowly nodded his head and said, "It is true."
Jake stood thunderstruck when he heard that. He felt like his whole body had been hit with a truck as he remained unmoved. He couldn't believe what he had heard, as a matter of fact he didn't want to believe it.
He shook his head, "That's not true. Mother had died of heart–" He paused why it finally donned on him. Heart disease.
