Linen's POV

i had to stay away from her. i didn't want her to die. i didn't want to kill her again.

Lilith's POV

i had fallen asleep near Edgars bed. he was still in the coma and had not woken up yet but at least his condition was stable but as i was about to leave i heard my name." Lilith, Lilith stay don't leave me. please don't leave me Lilith" it was Edgar. he was waking up. I rushed back towards him and his eyes shot open. "Lilith, am i dead?" he said " no Edgar, you are not dead, the war is over and everything is fine now, just rest." i said. Edgar tried sitting up but i pushed him down." its going to hurt if you move like this" i said to him. he followed my orders and stayed down.

"I'm going to visit the crown prince now. ill see you later" i said. i walked towards the crown princes chamber and saw how he wasn't in his chamber. i decided to look down the balcony and see the view but i immediately felt somebody's hands around my waist. i was frightened and hit them with my elbow the man then moved backwards and moaned in pain. i looked back at him and he was the crown prince. "please forgive me your highness, I'm sorry. you frightened me" i said. he was holding his waist in pain. i immediately moved towards him to help relieve the pain, i expected him to push me away but instead, he didn't do anything.

"your highness, you shouldn't be up. your injuries are grave and you should be resting" i said. i then proceeded to carry him back to the bed. because he was injured, we was wearing nothing but black pants. i could easily see his well sculptured body. his body was perfectly toned and muscular. "do you like what you're seeing" he said. i immediately turned red, looked away and changed the conversation. Your highness should i call lady Martha to come and comfort you, you seem down.

"Linden, just call me linden like you do to Edgar and i don't ever want to hear that name. Martha has been banished, she needs to be punished for her sins so you don't have to worry about her again" he said to me "then shall i leave you be, Prince Linden" "you mean just Linden" he replied. "since i am your fiancé then can make sure that you stay" he said "go sit down anywhere you like" he said and i decided to sit down on the chair beside his bed, that way it would be easier for me to talk to him.
