Why am i here

i woke up the following day in a tent , my back still ached but much less. someone had removed my bandages and put me in a peasant girls dress. the dress was white and simple, but who changed me. i ran out of the tent to try to escape but i found the other women from before dressed in the same outfit as me. they all stared at me until finally an older looking woman, probably in her 40s came towards me and started speaking to me "my child, are you hungry or are you hurt everywhere" "oh no madam I'm not hung-" but then at that same moment my stomach started growling "well come on lets get you some food" she replied as she laughed slightly. al the women followed the old woman towards another larger tent where there were grapes, cheese and bread. we were all given equal portions and we all sat at an old rigged wooden table.

"if you are wondering where we are, these tents are all located in a large wooden box, I've been here before and my name i sierra and I'm 24. some of us here were taken away from our husbands and families back home in the Loha region" one of the girls sitting to my right told me. "my name is Lilith and I'm 17 now, i need to find a way to get away from here, wait where are we anyways and why are we all here" i asked with anticipation. "we are supposed to be sold to men from foreign kingdoms as slaves and some of us with with pretty faces will be sold to the higher ups of society as their sex slaves" sierra said

after eating the food we all went outside of the tent and found men there. all the women were scared and rushed in groups together. the men had shackles and chained out legs and hands together. they pushed us and made us walk in a straight line. the huge wooden cage had a door that opened and there was bright sunlight outside the cage. when we all walked out there were many men with horses waiting outside. some of them were old while others were fat. as they saw us come out their faces lit up. as time went by prices for the girls were negotiated and there was nothing that they could do to stop being taken away. sierra was taken away by an old fat man who was an absolute pervert.

since my features were different compared to the other girls, the men took longer to make a price for me. many eyes were staring at me and making perverted laughs, i dreaded what would have happened. "ill take her for 50 gold pieces" one man said "70" another "ill take her for 180" another one said. the seller was about to close the deal when a man in the back said '1000, ill take her for a thousand" everybody gasped in amazement because with that kind of money somebody could buy a huge mansion.
