That's not fair

after the banquet everybody left and went to their own homes. I decided the library and read some books but the emperor called me to his Chamber. I thought that she was going to call me to his chamber to talk about Imperial affairs so I went to his chamber. "Lilith, I have something to give you. actually the garden that I said was for a lady Martha actually belonged to my mother" he said. " you done so much for me ever since you come here, and I'm gifting this garden to you. I heard that you're into medicine, although the Imperial library is large, largest private library. you have access to my private library, you can come and visit anytime you want." he said. I out a big smile and thank him.

" how old are you now" he asked. " I'm 22 your Highness, but why are you asking for my age" "we have to get married soon, to finalize the marriage contract." he replied and I began frowning. I didn't want to be wrapped up in an arranged marriage but it was my fate.

"i hope you stop seeing Edgar, he's just using you to get the throne. he doesn't love you, cant you see that" he said. i just looked down and didn't reply to him then finally i told him "why do you hate Edgar so much, huh. when i first came to the castle he was the only one here to greet me while you stayed with your mistress and now you have the nerve to tell me that you love me and want me to become the empress." i said then ran out of the room. i couldn't stand his lies. i just wanted to run away
