My story begins here

the carriage was grand, it was pulled by four white horses. the corners of the carriage were laced with gold. the coachman saw the tears in my eyes and looked at me with pity. as i was calling Mona a knight in black armor told me that i will have as many maids as i want at the palace. he was tall and seemed strong and i didn't want to argue with him as i was afraid. the coachman opened the door of the carriage and i boarded the carriage. after sitting down on the comfortable silk seat i looked out of the window back at my home, the estate which i grew up in with all the people i loved. the carriage began to move. the knight from before was riding behind us on a black stallion. tears were rolling down my eyes. the journey was long, it took about 8 hours and we took occasional breaks. after a long and tiring journey we finally arrived at the imperial palace. and i stopped crying along the way because i didn't want anybody to see my sadness. the coachman opened the door and i got out of the carriage. i was expecting prince Linden to welcome me but i only saw the head butler , other maids and another young man. "hello young miss, welcome to the imperial palace. my name is Arnold and i am the head butler, you can call me anything you like, these young women standing opposite to you are Teral, Anicka and Lucy. they will be attending to you " said the butler "what about that young man standing over there" i said " oh, i haven't introduced myself yet, i am the first prince. my name is Edgar and i am representing my brother Linden because he is very busy in court and cant welcome you today" said the boy. i gave him a small smile "so the crown prince does have a heart after all" i thought to myself
