his hair

after six years in the war lindens hair had grown longer it was a bit longer than mine. i was beautiful and i just wanted to braid it. we were not at the main event. knights came towards us to help bring the bear away whilst i rode towards my tent to freshen up. i went back to the palace took a quick bath and got changed in to by blue dress.

as i came back to the main event i saw my family. my mother was as beautiful as always and also my siblings. it had been the first time that i have seen them in six years. i ran towards them and gave them a huh "my child, how have you been all this time" said my mother . they didn't know that i had gone off to war during my stay at the palace. "oh mother, everything is fin, no need to worry. everyone is treeing me well." i replied and at that very moment linden came towards me and my family. "how has house Allendice been" he said. my whole family bowed their heads and greeted him "long live the new emperor" they all said and replied with how everything was fine.

the emperor then took me by my hand and brought me to where he was seating, there were two thrones behind a beautifully carved, on for me and one for him since he was the emperor and i was the future empress. "MY FIANCE IS NOT JUST TALENTED AND HAS A PRETTY FACE, SHE IS ALSO SKILLED IN ARCHERY" he said to gain everybody's attention. the people at the feast all cheered and clapped their hands for me and i gave a small smile.

after, that the food came in and the feast began. i was quiet the whole time but the emperor would always find a way to talk to me. "why are you so quiet Lilith, we are going to be husband and wife soon, you can ask me and tell me anything and everything" he said and i replied with a nod. since everybody at the banquet were speaking loudly i decided to ask him a question "your highness, remember the time that you called me to your office because you saw me with Edgar. why did you say that you would never love me or give me attention, it was already something that i prepared myself for before coming here" i asked " well Lilith, you have to learn calling me by my name and also i didn't mean what i said back then. and i am against you and Edgar being together. i no longer want to see the both of you together again. be it friendship or love, you are my fiancé and not his" he said in a firm tone. i just shook my head and continued eating. but what had caused him to change his mind so quickly. i think he is just toying with my feelings and sooner or later he's going to throw me away. i think its best for me to just ignore him for now.
