Coffee at three am

This is a story between my Oc's; Tomioka Shi and Rengoku Akira.

Akrhia is the ship name between Akira and Shi.

Shi is lady behind the counter

The door's of the quicksilver cafe were still open at three am due to their twenty-four hour schedule, making them one of the more favored cafes in town. "Welcome to Quicksilver, how may I help you this early morning?" The woman at the counter had long black hair with a few fed braids in it, her deep blue eyes having a purple tint to them, her skin was a pale olive which never seemed to deepen. The name on the silver name tag read; Tomioka Shi.

This was the sister of the owner of the cafe.

"Could I have a Short black, to go please?"

The man that had entered had short black hair and deep red eyes, his skin was tanned most likely from working outside for most of the time. The girl hummed "At three am?"

"Yes..?"

She had gotten many requests for decaf coffee at this time but never a pure coffee drink with nothing in it "no sugar or milk?"

"No sugar or milk."

With a sigh she grabbed a cup and a pen "name for the order?"

"Rengoku Akira."

She wrote it down and started to make the coffee, having no idea how the male would be able to drink this "you'll be up all night are you 100% sure you don't ebay milk or sugar added?"

"Yes I'm 100% sure, Tomioka-chan."

She nodded again and handed him the to-go cup, getting the cash for it and watching him leave.

This continued for a week, she had eventually gotten used to him coming in at three am on the dot, asking for the same drink and handing her the correct amount of cash each time, it got to the point she'd already have the drink waiting for him.

"Actually I think I might stick around today." he hummed as he walked over to a booth and sat down, pulling a book about katanas or something out to read.

"Ah.. sure?" Shi shook her head and started on cleaning, her shift would be over soon anyways, her shift starts at 11:30pm and ends at 3:15am, it's a wired time but that's what's she was given so she was to do it without complaints at least she got good pay from it. "You have 15 minutes until I close since no one will be here until 4:00."

"That's fine, could I walk you home?"

Shi blinked and nodded "sure, you try anything and I'll cut open your throat." she held up a sharp knife and smiled.

That happened five weeks ago, now he walked her home every night, it had become routine, it made the girls night just that little bit better.
