The bridge

Waking up, feeling a bit heavy, I groaned as I sit up and looked around. Nobody was around me at this moment so I felt like it was fine just to get up. Moving around in searching for something to ease up the pain I feel. I felt as if I was about to pass out once more, I couldn't really think of anything but the need to get up. I kept chanting the same thing over and over till I got on my own two feet. Stumbling, I slightly slipped and crouched on the ground. I didn't want to make any noise so I had to move slow and light on my feet. Crawling was the best option for moving around on wooden floors but when near a door, I would get up and turn the door nob slowly. My heart was pounding when I got into the kitchen, opening a cabinet filled with medicine, I quickly grabbed something that would ease the pain in my mind. It took everything in my power to swallow the pill and drink the water with it. I figured it if that used all of my energy, I was weak. Something wasn't right with me and I would figure it out later as I made my way to my room.

The moment I laid down, I heard words repeating. These words we're reminding me of something but I couldn't put my finger on it. Closing my eyes I slipt away into a dream, I couldn't bear thinking of what the words really meant cause it would make this aching feeling worse. Images started appearing in my mind like a mini-movie was getting down with its intro. I blinked for a moment as I witnessed a change in the location. This isn't a reality to me so this had to be a dream. But it felt so real as the cars sped by and honked at passers. I'm in the city? When did I ever get here? Why am I here? I stopped questioning things and took the chance to walk around. Wow, this place was big and filled with so many unknown faces. I took a glimpse at everyone that pass by me, trying to take in this new setting for a change. Looking up at the sky, the weather looked so peaceful that it was hard not to feel relaxed around just by the sight. Without knowing, I was stopped by someone hugging me. I didn't know who this person was but I wasn't going to ignore them.

"Hello?"

I turned around to see a girl with beautiful brown eyes and brown hair. She looked to be around 5-7 by how young she was. I tilt my head and realized that I was also the same height and age as her. I grew worried that I was sent into the past. She looked at me for a bit then grabbed my arm, starting to run. I didn't know how to react only than to follow her and hope for the best. She looked down as she stopped at a park. a pretty ark with flowers blooming and birds charging like it was still 7 am. When it came to a stop, I noticed that we were on a bridge. Looking at her, she began to talk. I couldn't hear her and it made my worry, I blinked a few times as I wonder if my ears were covered or weren't cable of hearing sound. Before I knew it, everything started fading into a bright light. I was waking up or it seems like I am waking up. Slowly opening my eyes, I sat up. Holding my head while trying to think of something.

"That Bridge was the only place we could see each other at Clare."
