Being bewitched

He held me in his embrace for I don't know how long. It felt like forever and I craved to be held even more. Before I knew it, I slightly detected the smell of lavender as if it was fresh and completed him even more. For some reason, this feeling slowly started to vanish making me forget the lovely smell of lavender and wanting to stay within his hold. So I'm guessing what I've been witnessing was his gift or somewhat power. The power to read minds and send so many longing and calming emotions or needs into a person's mind and body. That seems overpowering to me but then I remember he isn't the one with control of the weather. Once the hug ended, I stared at him. My mind was empty as I stared at the person who calmed me down. Adrion. Who really are you? He smiled at me. He must've heard that, god dang it. However, I'm not as mad as I was earlier. I wanted to connect with him and possibly become friends, even if I'm a contracted or adopted "lover", I want to be by his side.

Time flew by and Mr and Miss.Aishi went off to work. I was left alone with Adrion and well I can't say I wanted to be left alone with him. Right now I'm just chillin' in bed with little information about how many other people have these abilities. Luckily I was given a computer to use whenever I needed to. Getting it out and automatically going to the search bar, I quickly searched for any people born with any sort of power. To my luck it failed, however, I heard the only person who was in the house with me walk up and sat behind me. He quickly moved my hands and entered this sort of chat group with people. The first thing I read was basically a message trying to figure out who I was.

"This is a secret chat that a person I know at my school had formed. He said it was for those born with gifts like you and me. He has the ability to communicate with animals. I find it a lot cooler than mine, to be honest."

"So there are more people like us? Those born with gifts that they can control."

"yes but some of us have been captured and experimented on by government officials and doctors. The doctor you are familiar with prevented you from being one of them. However, it took a lot of lending from your parents to keep you a secret."

"And you know this because?"

"He told my parents and I read their minds. To be a fact when someone thinks, it's like them saying it without knowing. So it makes it easier for me to listen in on all their thoughts."

Interesting seems like it makes an annoying yet useful power.

'It is'

Gosh dang it, I did it again.

'Yep'

To my surprise, he closed my laptop and made me focus on him. Looking confused, something started up within me.

"However you've got my power wrong. I can make anyone I simply look and won't fall to their knees, make them feel an emotion of my choice, or become nothing more than a simple mindless being. What you felt earlier was just a taste of what I wanted you to feel. I call it Being Bewitched."

The feeling started up again and this time it was stronger. I can't think anymore all I want to do it be by his side.
