Chapter 3

"Amen." Dietrich muttered and began gulping down his food.

While he was eating, he felt someone pulling his shirt.

Dietrich stopped and raised his eyebrow and saw the boy standing next to him.

"Yes?" Dietrich asked.

"Mister, can you play with me after you finished eating?" The boy asked Dietrich with an eager expression on his face.

"No." Dietrich instantly replied and continued eating.

"Oh come on, mister. Just a little bit?" The boy insisted as he kept pulling Dietrich's clothes.

"No."

"Please."

"No."

"Pretty please?"

"Pretty no?"

One of the female adult saw this and instantly dragged the boy through his ears.

"I'm very sorry he bothered you. It won't happen again." The female adult said while pinching the boy's cheeks.

"It's okay." Dietrich ignored them and just continued eating his breakfast.

"Ben! We talked about this! You just can't go around bothering people." The adult female scloded the young boy.

"But Mom! It's too boring in here." Ben retaliated as he pouted his cheeks.

Hearing this, Dietrich could understand the boy's situation. The boy can't even play with other kids because of this sh*tty war.

"Let's play when I have time, okay?" Dietrich chuckled and got up and went outside the apartment.

"Okay!" Ben shouted back with his face showing excitement and anticipation.

Dietrich sat at the stairs in front of the apartment while staring at the bar and his room.

Viola!

"What a sh*tty luck!" Dietrich exclaimed inwardly. He just confirmed that this was the perfect assassination spot.

All he needed to do know was to find an escape route.

Dietrich turned around and entered the apartment and headed towards his room.

While walking there, he saw that there was actually a window at the end of the hallway.

Why didn't he see this earlier, you say? Why can't he see this later. Why can't a person be ignorant for once?

Anyway, Dietrich took a peek at the window and saw a forest.

"What the hell? Am I this lucky?" Dietrich was quite shocked as if like this was planned all along.

Dietrich the procedded to his room and retrieved his rifle under the mattress and placed it on top of the table.

Then he stared at the bar...

"Now it's time to wait." An evil grinned appeared on Dietrich's face.

Time quickly passed by...

10pm...

"Oi! What the f*ck did you say to me?!" A soldier shouted in anger while his face was red like a cherry signifying he was drunk as hell.

" I said you are a f*cking d*ckhead! HAHAHAHA!" Another soldier laughed while gulping down a beer in a wooden mug.

"You know what?! F*ck you that's what!" The soldier, who was clearly pissed off by the other soldier's statement, got up from his table then smacked his wooden mug against the other soldier's face.

Then hell broke loose...

On the other band, a group of 3 were sitting down near the window was having their own conversation.

"Vincent was that the right thing to do? I mean the village raised us as one of their own despite us being orphans from another village." A guy with short black hair asked with tone of guilt in his voice while drinking his beer.

"The f*ck you mean raised us well?! All I could see was disgust in their eyes! Now that we have a chance to destroy them, why wasting it?! *hiccups*." A young man with short brown hair shouted with anger while his face was red top to bottom showing either it's his anger or just drunk.

"Yeah! Yeah!" A guy with glasses nodded his head like a chicken, obviously a boot licker.

"Are you regretting your choice following us?! Cause if you are *hiccups* you know what's going to hap-happen to y-you. HAHAHA!" Vincent stared at Yuhan with a murderous intent then laughed and continued drinking his beer.

"Yeah! Yeah!" The guy with glasses nodded and continued nodding his head.

"You too, Dan! Shut the f*ck up!" Vincent clearly annoyed by Dan smacked his hand against Dan's face sending him to the ground.

"..." Yuhan decided to just stay silent while his thoughts were in turmoil.

On the other side of the street.

Dietrich was aiming his rifle at a specific part of the bar in front of the apartment he was staying at. SPECIFICALLY, a window showing a window of a young man with brown hair.

Vincent!

Dietrich's finger touched the surface of the trigger and his mind was fixated on pressing it already.

"Retribution has come you ungrateful f*ck!" Dietrich grinned as his rage and excitement took over him.

Nothing could stop him now!

Or that's what he thought.

Bang!

You were expecting a "Bang!" from Dietrich's rifle, didn't you?

Unfortunately, it wasn't and the sound came from behind him.

Dietrich immediately aimed the rifle at his back and saw...

Ben!

Yes! It was Ben holding a wooden toy horse.

Shock!

Dietrich immediately hid the rifle behind his back and his sweat began to appear on his face.

"What are you doing here, Ben? It's already late. It's time for you to sleep." Dietrich smiled awkwardly and slowly placed the gun behind his back.

Drop!

The wooden toy horse fell down from Ben's hand while his face was full of shock.

"F*ck! I'm so screwed. This kid can lead me to being f*cked just like my plan!" Dietrich shouted in his mind while his face began to sweat profusely.

The only solution was to silence the child.

"Is that a gu-" before Ben could finish his sentence Dietrich pounced at him and covered his mouth.

"Shhh! Be quiet or else we would get scolded by your parents!" Dietrich angrily whispered to Ben while covering Ben's mouth with his hand.

Ben immediately nodded his head.

Dietrich slowly removed his hand from Ben's face and sighed.

"Seriously is that a real gun?!" Ben asked with excitement on his face like he saw a new toy.

"What the f*ck?" Dietrich asked himself inwardly.

Is this a normal child's reaction towards guns?!

Shouldn't they supposed to be scared and cry to their mom?

Dietrich could only helplessly shook his head.
