Chapter 20 : Maniac unknown.

Whatever was inside that thing poured out and it felt hot, luckily for me it landed on my kidnapper's head instead. I freed myself from his grip and ran backwards. He had a face mask on, kinda like the ones we had to use in the present but it covered more skin.

He was clawing at his hair as he went on his knees. I wish I could say I felt bad for him....but that would be such a big lie. As if reading my thoughts, he suddenly looked up at me and I must say, he was boiling with fury [ Pun so intended ]

I ran backwards as I tried to push my way through the crowd and still afraid to back the guy who was quickly stumbling towards me. I felt angry but for some reason, I felt my body succumbing to fear [ Not now Snow White! ]

I stumbled into something hard and it wasn't budging. As I looked up, the kidnapper got a good kick to the chest. The relief in my voice was evident and super duper true, " Dopey "!?

The Dopey in question was obviously angry and held on to me so tight it nearly hurt. His action seemed to get some people's attention and I pulled my hood tighter over my head [ Oh no! ]. They went back to ignoring us and I hugged Dopey.

I whispered, feeling my heartbeat go back to normal " That was scary ". Dopey smiled, touching my head and I suddenly started laughing, looking up at him " That was such an adrenaline rush. I'm not saying I want that to happen again but it was amazing ".

Dopey sighed as he put me down and I pinched his cheeks, " I've never seen you so upset before ". Dopey held my hand gently and I pouted, " We should find a way to capture that guy though ".

But you know the funniest thing, he wasn't where I left him [ That's not funny! ] and now it was time to panic. I went on my tiptoes and managed to grab Dopey's collar just as quickly, " There's an unknown maniac on the loose. What if he comes back for revenge "?

Dopey had to bend a little and I'm very sure I must have seemed as panicky as I felt. " You're really fussy ", I turned to Hunter and glared at him. Though I'm happy he's fine and so not cos I forgot about him.

I let go of Dopey and smoothed out his shirt, " So sorry, I overreacted. It'll be fine and I'll be fine ". Dopey nodded and gestured to the door, " You want me to go back, don't you "? Dopey nodded and I sighed, " This is my fault. I caused you trouble, didn't I "?

Hunter nodded, pulling the back of my cloak " So glad you realize that. Now be a good Lil princess and go back to bed ". I nodded and tugged my cloak out of his hand, " Alright ". I waved at Dopey and put a finger to my lip, " And don't worry, it'll be our little secret ".

Hunter rolled his eyes and grabbed my wrist and began walking, making me follow suit " And try not to get lost in the crowd this time ". I nodded seriously and used my other hand to hold the hand holding me, " You wouldn't be able to get rid of me even if you wanted to ".
