Moving Forward

I arrived at the training ground, it had been a few days since my talk with Itachi and surprisingly a crow was there waiting for me, It landed on my shoulder as it dropped the scroll on my hand.

The crow then disappeared, when I opened to read the letter, I was surprised, looks like thanks to Orochimaru's stunt as well as the failed attempt on Naruto they'll abstain from capturing for half a year or a year at the earliest and 2 years at most.

'Chomei and Kurama is in Konoha, Killer B is safe in the cloud, Isobu is done already so even if he resurrects he'll never be able to be at full power again, Shukaku, well I've still yet to struck a deal with Gaara'

I've never heard any information about The Fourth to Sixth tails, as far as I remember The four tails was captured when Sasuke formed Hebi or Team 7 was going after Itachi.

I guess it lines up on why they began capturing them in earnest in Shippuden, I'll have to wait for more information as to intercept them.

The crow then flew away as I looked at it, was still early in the morning, I was at the training grounds but I saw two familiar figures.

"Kurenai-nee and Sakura?"

I was surprised, I never thought I'd see them together, but then I remembered something that most would forget, wasn't Sakura supposed to be good at Genjutsu until Genjutsu was just an after thought with Sharingan's around?

"Oh Yuki, what are you doing here?"

"Practicing, what are the two of you doing here?"

"Training in Genjutsu, ah right, do you want to be our dummy for today?"

I looked at them, even if they could they wouldn't be able to and I don't wanna act right now.

"I'll have to pass you know I can dispel the Sharingan's Genjutsu right?"

"Ah right I forgot you're not a normal kid so I doubt my Genjutsu would work on you."

Kurenai nodded as I just nodded back at them, I wonder what Sakura said to Kurenai that she agreed to teach her Genjutsu, while it would work on 90% of the population but the mission Sakura would undertake means she has to fight the other 10% so its useless.

But I guess she took my words seriously, I don't mind it anyway, whatever happens to her isn't my problem

I left as I got nothing else to do, as I was hungry I decided to go to Ichiraku, it was just so delicious I couldn't even describe and now I know why many eat there, as I was walking, I saw another group that stopped in front of me and looked at me.

"Is something wrong Lady Tsunade?"

"That kid."

I looked at them, even Shizune, Jiraiya and Naruto was looking at me, as Tsunade came close to me she looked at me from head to toe.

"What's your name?"

"It's Yuki Hatake?"

"You're not a Kato?"

"No? I was an orphan so I don't know who my parents are."

I looked at her, damn she really is beautiful but what surprised me the most, she was still wearing the Necklace? I thought Naruto would have gotten it did something happen?

"Tsunade, that's the kid I'm taking about, he's Hiruzen's supposed successor."

"So you're Tsunade?"

"I am."

Jiraiya came forward as Tsunade and I were just staring at each other, I don't have Pale Blue hair and mine was white, certainly I didn't have green eyes as mine was faintish blue, I wonder why she even considered me a Kato.

Unless I look like him?

"You're Hiruzen's successor, if I may ask, do you aspire to be Hokage? I know the Old Man likes to do things his way and sometimes imposes on others and do things behind their backs if it means its for the village."

"I'll be Hokage if no one wants the mantle, I made a promise to the old man, if no one is suitable to be the Hokage, I'll take it up myself but if I was a Hokage, I'd drop the village for my family if a threat suddenly exists."

"Hey! I'll be the Hokage Yuki!"

"Yeah Yeah You'll be the Hokage when you grow up."

I just said what I said on my mind but I could see Tsunade was still staring at me, she smiled and shook her head, she then went on.

"Come, follow me, we're going to the Hokage tower."

"Can I leave? I want to see Sakura! I'm gonna let her see my new Jutsu!"

"She's at the training grounds."

I told Naruto who immediately left, Jiraiya sighed while Shizune was still observing me along with Tonton the pig, since I had nothing else to do I decided to follow them.

"So kid, have you finished reading the series?"

"Which one?"

"The Icha Icha of course."

Jiraiya smiled and laughed like an Idiot while Tsunade stopped and looked at Jiraiya then she looked at me.

"You're reading it?"

"Yes?"

"As the new Hokage I'm banning you from reading it!"

"Hey!"

Both me and Jiraiya yelled at the same time, it was kind of unfair and me and Tsunade just met, what the hell did I do to get banned? Well its not like she can't do anything to me at most its just a verbal threat.

I acted grumpily while Jiraiya laughed at me, when we arrived at the Hokage tower's entrance, we were greeted by two old rotting corpses, they nodded at us as we nodded at them, before Tsunade could say anything.

"You're lucky I didn't find any ANBU, if there was one, you'd be six feet under the ground now."

Tsunade was surprised by my choice of words, but she didn't say anything, even Shizune and Tonton were scared, Jiraiya just nodded, while the two dirt bags shook their heads.

"Come in, we'll fill you in, I'm thinking you agreed to be the next Hokage."

"Yes, I'll do it."

Tsunade nodded, we then followed them, I didn't say anything and followed them after the dirt bags finished their briefings they left us alone, Tsunade took the cap and wore it for a short while, while she clutched the crystal in her necklace.

"The two of you leave, I want to talk with Yuki alone."

I wonder what changed as why Naruto didn't get it, perhaps, this perverted sage increased his training intensity after seeing me do the Rasengan so effortlessly I'll have to ask later I wonder what had happened.

"Um' why am I here?"

"Because, from now on, you'll be directly under me!"

"What?"

"As the successor of the Hokage, you'll be learning under me, of course that doesn't mean I'll ban you but you have to report to me five times a week."

"Isn't that kind of bit unfair for a teen like me?"

"No, I'll teach you."

"I don't want to be a sannin, but I do know someone who has the potential to be one and she has a peculiar ability."

Tsunade's eyes looked interested.

"She's an Uzumaki, a defector from her village, the Old man took her in, and its best she tells her story since I'm not a good communicator."

"I'll listen to that later, what I'm more interested is in you."

"Me? Why Me?"

"I've yet to read the Hokage's will and your information but I feel something is different about you."

"Everyone says that."

"Oh then I'm not worried about you, don't worry I won't train you to be a Sannin, I'll train you to be the best Hokage."

"May I ask why? It's pretty weird considering the two of us just met."

"I'll give you two answers, but which one would you like to hear, the selfish personal reason or the diplomatic reason?"

I wondered, why, its not like its uncharacteristic of her, but maybe it is, besides the plot has changed, ever since I was born or brought there were subtle changes already although small it'll become big later on.

"The Selfish one."

"This is the second time I've seen someone remind me of someone I know, rather loved to be frank."

"Whose the other one?"

"Naruto, he reminds me of my younger brother, as for you, I mistook you of someone I was close with, that doesn't matter, see this necklace kid?"

"What about it?"

"This is a rare crystal, you can buy anything with it if you sell it, I'll give it to you if you prove you're worthy of it."

"What about Naruto?"

"That Kid? as far as I know he only knows 2 jutsu's the Rasengan and the Shadow clone, but he did talk some sense into me as for you, I want to see if you're capable."

"I am capable of more than 2 jutsu's I just don't want to show my entire arsenal."

I was curious, now I wanted to push it, if he knew it beforehand then that would explain the lack of emotional attachment Tsunade had on Naruto if he had the rasengan and wasn't challenged by Tsunade.

"But Naruto, did he learn the Rasengan?"

"He did, he saved me after talking some sense into me"

'That explains everything.'

"Fine I agree."

"Good we have a lot of time on our hands so let's start the lesson! Paperwork!"
