Werewolf In The Woods

"Darling." He smirked and eyed my lips. "Promises can be broken." "I don't break promises," I aimed to assure. "I know because I know you." He stretched his palm to caress my chin and this time, I didn't flinch. "How?" I croaked. "Because I've watched you." His hand moved to brush my hair away from my face. "I know about your schedule, when you sleep, how you like your tea, how you interact with strangers, even down to the kind of shampoo you use." He is a stalker, get away from him! My subconscious screamed at me Instead of me to do that, I did the opposite by asking. "Why, do you know all these?" He simply chuckled and inched his face closer, we stared into each other's eyes for what felt like a decade before he shifted to my ear and whispered. Tanya's POV

"Push!" Abigail instructed as she stood beside the pack doctor holding my left leg in place while I stared up at the white ceiling.

"Mmmmh!" I obeyed, sweat cascading down my face and chest to soak the hospital gown I had on.

"You are doing great darling," Dante squeezed my palm as my back bounced on the bed from the force of the push. "Just hold on."

"I'm so sorry," I sobbed, my vision darting to his disheveled form. He was in only a pair of basketball shorts Nathan had fetched for him the instant we arrived on pack lands. His skin still helt scratch wounds that though healing, had blood on it.

His hair was no better as it stood at odd ends probably from the dirt that had packed in it for ages. His eyes had sunk inward from the ordeal he had gone through and probably from the lack of proper sleep.
