Irregular Gate

It took a while to calm them down, all they did was apologize over and over, Peony was just as lost since she was just glad that I was safe

Still, unfortunately, I became transparent immediately afterwards, they were heartbroken but I told them that now time should be stable, so we will meet tonight, it wasn't enough to make them happy but, hell, it was all I could do with the time I had

And so, I woke up, back in bed, no damage thankfully and Leona hugging me tightly, it actually felt good having her by my side again, I sighed in relief that I was able to wake up again and cuddled up to her, much to my surprise she smiled softly when she felt me hugging her

I tried to call Dante and Vergil but neither answered, Leona told me that they often dove into gates and in there phones don't work, so likely they are kicking ass, same happened when I called Samus so I guess she isn't available either, Maki and Chizuru were not available but they actually left a voicemail claiming they were getting ready for the KoF so they won't have their phones on them, guess I am meeting them there

Shermie was also a no show, dunno why, Athena was available and we spoke for a bit, we were gonna meet tomorrow to practice together but she was practicing on her own too, Lee had also gotten some musicians ready for my comeback so the band is covered, all I gotta focus is on the lyrics

I called Mithra next but she also wasn't available! Apparently she is training and her voicemail promises to call later

A woman with cat features, her legs, her hands, a tail and ears appeared from both wheels and stood in between, using them as if they were roller skates, then she pulled out a fire whip and smiled cruelly at me

As Kasha came by for another drive by, I took my chance

I responded with my own glare, she then rushed at me and used her whip, I used my blade to catch it, the whip coiled around my blade but much to my dismay, the damn thing melted first, I scoffed and threw the blade away and faced Kasha with now a scythe, after all, I did learn to use it

She cackled maniacally and kept attacking, I of course kept up now being careful to dodge the whip, but I wasn't perfect, and a few of her hits managed to connect, scalding my very flesh, but it doesn't mean I didn't get a few cuts in myself, while superficial, she felt them, her yukata was rather loose fit for her and I can't deny, I was annoyed at myself for getting distracted by the cleavage of a demon, while I didn't get hit because of it, I lost a couple good chances to end the fight immediately

Now, as we slaughter, I will give you the description of where exactly are we, the inside of this gate resembles a stage in Nioh, the burning castle of Honnoji, same with these monsters, on the way I mentioned how these are Japanese Youkai but both Leona and Zelda showed confusion, not knowing what Japanese was, so that confirms that the countries I knew in the past never existed here, which leads me to ask, why do the monsters exist in the gate then? And why are all the inhabitants in this world taken from multiple games?

I have asked myself this before but always ended up dismissing it since, again, training took priority, and even now, the best answer I got was from Monica

As we stood, we were on the outskirts of the castle, the castle was on fire and surrounded by all kind of Youkais, from fire wheels with faces to japanese soldiers who were skeletons, and even cyclops and Tengus

The last ones were actually a threat, Tengus are B+ rank and their strength is actually concerning, the Cyclops are B-, but still strong enough to pose a threat

Still, my companions were absurdly strong so the fodder and even the threats were not enough to slow us down, thanks to that, we were able to get to the temple, in the way I also discovered that I can send out the purple fire wheels that Kasha rides on as if they were beyblades, rather hilarious if I am honest, also absurdly deadly since it is able to both burn and cut in half all enemies

Once in the castle, Kasha came out

Hino Enma and Nue…Hino was a vampire while Nue is an electric beast

-Any tips you can give us? Such as elemental weakness or the way they fight?

-Hino-Enma fights using paralytic needles and her umbrella, it is made of steel and one hit will be painful, she is also able to fly and like vampires, can drain the blood directly from your body if she bites you! She is weak to the lighting element though, but do watch out, she is pretty strong!

-Nue is like an ugly tiger that can summon lighting, it is weak to water nya, it mainly uses it's claws to swipe at you or summon lighting to either strike down, cover an area or coat it's body! Do watch out nya!

We nodded and the girls again separated from me, once they entered their respective rooms, I took a deep breath
