chapter 9

They all had lunch together and made plans on how they would meet and finally lunch break was over the kids left to their classes, can't they see us I want to play with them a kid said Elizabeth, Julie and jack could hear someone say but couldn't see anyone they continued to their class, they last subject was taught by the teacher and the students left the class in an orderly manner to meet their parents, Mr Winston stood outside the school building waiting for Elizabeth when Elizabeth saw her dad she ran into his arms, she turned around and could see Julie and her mother Julie's mother exchanged pleasantries with her dad and later they all went their separate ways. When Elizabeth got home with her dad her mom had already prepared lunch for them and was setting the table up Elizabeth went ahead to hug and greet her mother, her mother asked her about school and she told her everything that happened, she goes to her room to take her bath and get changed and soon was ready to have lunch the family of three said a short prayer and started eating.

After lunch Elizabeth asked her parents if she could go over to Julie's place, her father answers as long as you've done your homework then it's fine, Elizabeth responds positively and her parents let her leave, on her way to Julies house she could see the twins they approach her more milder than before, Elizabeth asked them what they wanted and both girls apologizes to her for their behavior, she accepts the apology and then Mily asked if she could help them, Elizabeth is confused and asks how the girls look at each and asked where she was heading she tells them she was on her way to her friends house they ask if they can join her and that they would explain when they get there, Elizabeth asked why they couldn't just tell her now and jane answers saying a lot of people would think she's crazy since they can't see them Elizabeth understood immediately and agreed to let them follow on the way she's asked why they were mean at first and they apologized saying they didn't mean it but they where envious because other kids played with each other and they couldn't, Elizabeth suddenly remembers what happened at school that day she wonder's if they are connected.

Finally they got to Julie's house and she knocked, Julie's father Mr Jacobs answered the door when he saw Elizabeth he let her in and asked her if she had lunch before coming she nods her positively in response, Mr Jacobs then tells her that Julie was helping her mother out with work, he took Elizabeth to a room in their house which Julie's mother used as a tailor's shop the father and gently opened the door, he and Elizabeth walked further in both mother and daughter where engrossed in sewing a dress, Elizabeth thought the dress was beautiful, Julie's mother is so skilled she said in her head, Mr Jacobs brought the attention his wife and daughter to Elizabeth, Julie on seeing Elizabeth leaves her mother's side and gives Elizabeth a hug, Julie asked her mother if she could go with Elizabeth and her mother agreed, and finally both girls leaves to Julie's room.
