Chapter 9: Goblin

So... I'm currently in a forest, looking for Goblins to wreck but it's been 5 minutes and no sight of those greeny bastards. They're quite intelligent enough to discern pray and predator or they are just relaxing or something. That's just a bad start to be honest... Sigh..

Kiek.... keee (Honestly, I don't even know what Goblin grunts sound like)

Ahh, they came instead.

Now that I think about it, let me try changing my weapon orb to a gun...

a Dual Desert Eagles sounds nice...

(Now imagine the orb flashing light then it suddenly transform into a gun)

Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about :D

Now to attract the monsters

A group lunges towards me and I threw a quick appraisal and found out that they're shit...

Oh well, so much for being a cannon fodder

One by one, each goblin fell with one bullet... The Feeling is great... Must be how that Goblin Slayer guy felt. There's still many left, I'd reckon about 30, still isn't enough to level me up to 11 though..

Each of my bullet takes the life of one of these green little shits. I don't think that they realise what they got themselves into... yet.

Despite commiting a massacre, none of these bastards seem to back away. Oh well time to kill more then..

Oh so now the Goblins realise that something's wrong, terribly wrong. Too late though. Every Goblin is sure to have a bullet served right through their head. Although I mostly have bad aim but that doesn't matter.

I continue on my onslaught on the Goblins until some goblin screams and almost every remaining goblin ran away. I gave chase and hunted down the Goblins one by one. This was really fun.

[For Killing so many Goblins, The Entire Goblin population within the Area is cautious and enraged, They will stop at nothing to make sure you are dead.]

Did I have too much fun? Doesn't matter, I'm waiting for them to come. And what do you know? A massive wave of Goblins are coming towards me... I see some bigger ones too...

[Warning! Stromnaught Town will be in danger if the trouble is not quelled...]

[Defeat the Goblin Horde by yourself or Prevent them from Attacking the City]

Ehhh... I get to kill some goblins and get rewards too? That's a 2 in 1 deal I'd like and since we're fighting in a forest somehow, Let me change into a Dual Vector then..(If anyone's interested - Search for Criss Vector)

Let's rock! And I ran towards the horde, and proceeded to hail them the bullet rain. One by one, they fall... Those numbers they have slowly but surely fall down.

My Guns feel great and all but what it needs is more firepower.. I NEED MORE!!

The Goblins die even faster to my bullets, I'm quite even sure that the Town is alert with all the noice from the Goblins dying. Heck I even killed some of the evolved ones and boy are they becoming much more enraged...

Guns ablazin, heads blown off and bodies riddled with holes, it's all too good to be true, It makes me feel giddy.

And I continue on my onslaught or rather, a massacre, These goblins start to realise that they are losing too many of their kind too fast and the "human" that is their target isn't some shithead. First to notice is the Leaders, they become fearful of me and had ordered their kind to retreat but there's no escape from this party.

My Energy is rapidly decreasing and increasing and so is my Level snowballing.

11... 13... 16... 19... 22

If anyone else sees this, they might as well screw me off...

Most remaining goblins begin to retreat but I'm not gonna leave my food alone now would I? So I ran towards them and sent them off towards heaven or hell... Oh well..

Now the only ones standing are the elite ones, So this is gonna end pretty quick...

<4 Minutes Later>

After all that running and gunning, I finally killed the last elite, my final level? 26 and I'm actually tired, mentally of course...

Well goddamn, I got a title upgrade, 5 more levels and a skill that revives me again.

Now that I noticed it, the Scene looked bloody until all the bodies shone a white light and every single loot they have was given to me... It's all trash to me though.

I got my quest items (For Hunting Goblins of course) and I packed and wen't back to the city...

I come back to the guildhall to meet the lady once again

"So you have completed the goblin hunt?" She raises her eyes

"Yes yes yes, I have... It's that" I mumbled

"That what?" She asks

I unpack hundreds of Goblin ears, including the elite and above variants...

Everyone in the hall went silent after that... I swear you can hear some guy drop their coins to the ground seeing 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐲 Goblin ears... The Receptionist lady was shocked and asked me "Did you hunt all these?"

"Pretty much" I said while shrugging.

"I need to ask Guildmaster to come here" she says suddenly and proceeds to do what she says, 3 minutes later, a Middle age man comes along with the lady and asks me "Are you sure, that you hunted all of this?" He asks. Apparently he's the Guildmaster for this city.

"I am sure, If I didn't you might as well hang me then in public" I stated.

"Sigh... You are one madman"

"thanks" I said

"Can you give me your ID for a moment?" He asked

I nodded and gave him my ID, and he snapped it... Imagine my shock when he did that.. Until he gave me a card, and a Better one at that. It had been upgraded

Crisis has been averted, I would've shot the guy in front of me but I resisted the urge to do so and I was glad I did.

"You are pretty much upgraded to Silver Rank" He says..

The entire hall descends into silence once again... And the bastard actually left.

Sigh... I might as well do something stupid for once...

"Everyone! Drinks on me" I shouted.

And the Entire hall was on an uproar.

Best Decision of my life, So far... It took me 2000 gold for everything but I can manage it, I gave the lady 500 gold and left the building after the party and took a good look of my stats

Oh wow, Imagine the other player's shock when they see this... I think some already are in cities after all. I leveled up 20 times, so I got around 100 stats to distribute and did 25 on each.

Strength - 125 → 150

Wisdom - 125 → 150

Agility - 110 → 135

Vitality - 110 → 135

Health Points - 165600 → 178100

Chaos Energy - 171050 → 183550

Chaos Damage - 65560 x 5 → 78560 x 5

Chaos Defense - 50970 → 60970

Also my Weapon and Armor leveled up also so it might be time to check

Weapon Orb got 25000 damage and extra 50000 on both my HP and Energy, and +200 to all my stats

Armor Orb got me 15000 defense and 200000 on both my HP and Energy and also the same.

Oh ok then. So these are my current stats:

Strength - 150 → 350

Wisdom - 150 → 350

Agility - 135 → 335

Vitality - 135→ 335

Health Points - 178100 → 528100

Chaos Energy - 183550 → 533550

Chaos Damage - 78560 x 5 → 203560 x 5

Chaos Defense - 60970 → 115970

Holy Damn, with these stats, I would'nt even have to worry about most enemies... This is definitely unscientific, I mean, WHO would have these kinds of stat at level 30+? It's just me.

After all things are done. I sleep and Prepare for another day. Which is Dungeon Hunting.
