"So earlier, you said that you wanna talk to me about Bunnyx. What about her? We met her only that one time," Adrien asked his girlfriend, remembering Timetagger. Meanwhile, Marinette sported a fidgety nervous look on her face. "Please, m'lady. Tell me."
"There was another time when Bunnyx showed up," Marinette slowly confessed in reluctance. "Remember your Fifth Name's Day?"
"The day you as Ladybug came into my room and dropped off a gift that you said was from my Brazilian fan club," Adrien said, indicating he remembered and Marinette nodded in confirmation.
"Well, actually that gift was from me as Marinette and I originally signed my name on the card that came along with the gift. But after I left your room, Bunnyx appeared and took me to this alternate future where all of Paris is destroyed," Marinette sadly continued on and Adrien had a shocked look on his face. "With only one survivor: you. And you were akumatized into a supervillain named Cat Blanc."
"C-C-Cat Blanc?" Adrien stuttered, having difficulty comprehending the situation in his head.
"Apparently, you set off a mega-cataclysm that pretty much destroyed everything and everyone in Paris. Including myself and...your father as Hawk Moth," Marinette sadly continued on and as he thought about it, Adrien began to tear up.
"I destroyed everyone? Including you and my father?" Adrien asked, tearfully repeating what Marinette just said in which she confirmed with a sad slow nod. "But, how did leaving that gift in my room lead to that?"
"I honestly don't know. I guess you saw me leave your room and when you found that gift from me, I assume that you figured out that I'm Ladybug. And since I didn't know you were Cat Noir, I thought you told someone who told someone who told someone and eventually that gossip chain got to Cat Noir," Marinette sadly continued on. "I don't know what happened in-between those events since Bunnyx wouldn't tell nor show me. When I got to the future with you as Cat Blanc, you were so happy to see me and then suddenly, you attacked me trying to get my Miraculous, so that you can fix everything that you caused. You even called me Marinette which is how I knew that you figured out my identity. And you said something that really terrified me."
"Wh-wh-what was it?" Adrien stuttered, still trying really hard with difficulty to comprehend what was being said to him.
"You said...our love was what destroyed the world," Marinette said as she began to tear up and Adrien opened his mouth in shock also with a tearful look on his face. "Anyway, I eventually purified your akuma and put you back to normal. But, I had to do my Miraculous cure back in my present which took me back to a few minutes before I dropped off your gift in your room. I quickly erased my name from the card and when you found me, I had to say that the gift was from your Brazilian fan club."
"How come you didn't tell me?" Adrien asked with a sad hurtful look.
"The reason I didn't tell you was because I didn't wanna risk that future happening again. The thought of that still haunts me to this day," Marinette softly said with tears in her face as she quietly sobbed. Soon after, Adrien pulled her into a tight embrace.
"Don't worry, m'lady. I'm not gonna let that or anything else happen to you," Adrien said as they still held on to each other. "I'll die trying to make sure that future never happens."
"I hope so," Marinette quietly said as she let go of her boyfriend/superhero partner and wiped away her tears with Adrien doing the same. "Good night, my prince."
"Good night, my princess," Adrien replied back as the two and their kwamis headed for their respective rooms to sleep.
