Chapter 6: Finance (Almost Seven)

Konoha Year 57, First Month, Third Week

"No," Vū turned and look at their eyes, "With the tension currently rising in the Shinobi World— War Hawk probably planned on using the Club's finance for the military."

Tobias observed the faces of the people besides him.

Akiro's visible face look confuse, whilst Nora remained deadpanned— though her eyes had a glint in her eyes.

"Tension?" Asked Akiro.

'Nora and Akiro are still Genin, with their position they probably have no idea what's going on behind the charade of their missions,' Tobias speculated.

"You'll know more about this matter when you become Chunin,"

Akiro shook his head, scoffing mirthlessly, "We don't know anyone else who are Genin, excluding the others who graduated with assigned teams."

"Why? Aren't academy students suppose to graduate with teams assigned by the Hokage?"

"That kind of stereotype would be true had that idiotic of a Sensei used his mind efficiently and that teammate of ours didn't retire just after a C-Rank mission that turned out to be a B-Rank mission," explained Nora who sneered.

"Maybe Tobias could replace that empty teammate seat and can participate the Chunin Exams that's about to be held in the next few months."

"With the other Four Great Villages participating? Scoff* That's basically waking into a fucking deathtrap!" Nora screamed, emphasizing every single word in her last sentence.

"I don't know, but with this tension— Iwa, Suna, Kumo, and Kiri will most likely not attend the Chunin Exam."

Tobias didn't pay any attention to their conversation3, his expression remained deadpanned but his eyes glinted with greed, his mind kept on chanting, 'Money, Money, Money...'

He loudly clapped his hand, once. With a smile on his face he said,

"I think, that it'd be a great idea to mess up Da— War Hawk's plans and pretend that the enemy threw A Fire Jutsu causing the buildings including the money to be annihilated?"

"But..?" Akiro asked, making the motion with his neck.

"But... in actuality, we were the ones that threw the Jutsu and the money is not actually included in the annihilation but is actually taken by us! What do you say?!"

"What a complete idiot,"

"Stupid,"

"That's a great idea!"

"Akiro!" Vū and Nora sharply said.

"What?" He shrugged, "Besides we'll only recieve a 100k Ryo, I think, and we'll still split it up, which is according to math is..."

"33, 333 Ryo's and the remaining remainders." Tobias answered for him.

"Yes, and thank you for your assistance," he continued, "And besides, its not like that guy is broke, unlike us."

"If the finance of this Club is really what the War Hawk wants then obviously there'd be a problem with his finance!"

"Nora's right, if the finance of the Club fails to be handed over to him, then Konoha's survival from the war will dropped, approximately twenty percent."

"What your speaking are facts, right?" Nora whispered from the corner of her mouth.

"Yes, but I'm just spouting numbers."

"Well then, how about this," Akiro suggested as Tobias continued

"We'll take one million Ryo's from the money—"

"ONE MILLION FUCKING RYO'S!" Shouted both Vū and Nora.

"This Club is shabby both inside and outside! You think they'd have that kind of money lying around?!"

Reasoned Vū as Nora added.

"With that kind of money laying around in their floor then they'd have no problem paying for the bills they're wasting."

Tobias tilted his head, "Who knows? Maybe they're a cheap bastard."

"Exactly," screeched Akiro, "That's what I was thinking too!"

'Oh Kami-sama,'

Vū exasperatedly thought, meanwhile Nora had a dissaproving look on her face.

"Do what you want," she gritted her teeth, "but don't you dare bother me with a problem of what might occur after they'll come to know what you two did!"

"Yehey!" Yipped Akiro, bouncing up and down happily.

"Me too." Added Vū, "Anyways, let's just focus on the mission and you guys do whatever you want with the money."

"I'll just stay here,"

"Why?" Asked Nora, her eyes narrowing.

"Your mission was suppose to assassinate whoever the hell is running the club and I'm not risking smelling like blood." He answered, walking towards the guards table and lay down on his back.

Nora turned to Vū, her eyes implying to explain.

Vū cleared his throat, "He snuck out when he's suppose to be on a house arrest for offending one of the Clan Elders, but with his nature of being stubborn he didn't stick to the rules but instead snuck out to bet himself drunk."

"Hey! I heard that, and I told you I wasn't drinking alcohol!"

"It was meant for you to hear it."
