A FIRST CONFERENCE MEETING

It is the mid-summer in Nagpur, the sky is bright, and Madhumitha staring out from the window. Holding a cup of morning coffee, gazing at the garden outside, children playing and someone is jogging and some are sitting and chit chatting. The sky is clear and the roads are still wet due to yesterday's rain. 

The morning breeze slightly touches her curls and she saw Ankush doing the jogging and walking in the garden. She thought, "He has a nice structure due to his daily fitness. Every sip of the coffee made her taste sweeter and refresh, gazing at him made her more reliable.

The clock struck 8.00 AM. Today is her first day of work and she doesn't want to be late. So, she hurriedly went to bathe and also she has to make breakfast. She hurriedly, made an omelet and toast gulped it, and went to the dressing table, to search for a formal outfit.

She finally found the suit that her father gifted her last birthday; it was a yellow top and blue pants with a blue and yellow shawl and took the auto from the apartments and stopped near the gate of the company. She reached the office 10 min earlier. She went to the Head HR department cabin and talked to him regarding the work.

He explained to her the roles and responsibilities and also told her that, You are appointed by the boss himself, because the highest voting is earned by your online comics, and you have to share the burden of Ankith, to support the CEO and do the things what he says. I am just helping you if you are any needs. 

The job description which is given to you, are the basic jobs but that only will not be your responsibilities. She listen to him and thrilled in her heart, and thought "In this way, I can understand him more," and find out who is he. She listens to everything and also came to know about their short temper, reserved character and he doesn't talk, much to girls, and also the angriness of his attitude.

She moved to the desk and prepared for the desk, Ankith is already come to his desk, and saw Madhumitha and delighted and said" you are sitting beside me, what a surprise. Then she turned her face slightly towards the Ankush Cabin. Ankith told him not to come, he is in the client conference place discussing the new project on animation and he will return late. 

She asked "Is the new project of the Kiwi Animation group, "He was Shocked and looked at her, yes how do you know about it. She told all the things which happened when she first came to the office. 

Ankith Told me about the project, and they discussed it for a long and found out that the project a lack of funds, and that's why it is pending. If Tauten industry takes this fund then they will be at a huge loss. But someone helps them to write comics and we can earn money online by a new story, but we have not got a good cartoonist yet. 

It is evening now and it is time to go home. Ankith told them that he will drop her, off after meeting Ankush. Madhumitha is tired from day work, she helped Ankith a lot, and also the discussion was good. Ankith came out from the cabin accompanying Ankush, seeing his face the tiredness has gone, "He came to her and told," "Tomorrow we have a conference meeting on the new project, you should attend that with Ankith.

 Shockingly Madhumitha replied "Yesss...sir" "She cleaned her desk and accompany them and stayed beside Ankith, as they are moving Ankith and Ankush still discussing tomorrow's schedule, as they came down the streets, as the night is approaching thoughts were glowing and words are jumping out and saying Am I capable for the conference meeting, she is very nervous about tomorrow meeting. 

They enter the car and everyone is gazing outside the windows. The night sky was heather, humming bees are tired of collecting nectar, and the stars are glittering like a speck of scattered space dust. Ankush is driving the car, he is seeing her from the dim light of the street through the back mirror, her eyes, is small but long the eyelashes are dim, he understood that she is worried about tomorrow's meeting. 

Ankith got down on MG Road because he understood that Ankush want to tell something to her, so he gave them the space to talk. He bid farewell to both and told Madhumitha, to sit on the seat beside Ankush, they went to 2 km then Ankush noticed that she is still in deep thought and had forgotten to put on the seat belt. 

He stopped the car and leaned forward to put on the seat belt, his sudden act made Madhumitha come out of thought, their eyes met and it is a different experience for both of them, Their heartbeat become fast, he suddenly put the belt and went back. 

He asked her, "Are you nervous, his words felt like a cold wave inside her heart, and she replied, yes....a bit. He said, "Don't worry you need not have to speak, anything, if you want to speak, close your eyes, think about the person who loves you the most, and the words that they said, It will calm your mind, and you feel relax. 

When I first attended the conference meeting I am also nervous, like you, I tried the mentioned method many and I guarantee that it will work. The car started and Madhumitha stared at him without stopping. 

Then he pulled the gear and his hand touched her long and thin hands, they are cold due to AC in the car, he took his coat and put it on her, she slept due to a long and tiring day, he drive the car slowly and staring her continuously, she leaned on his shoulder, when destination reached, a sudden break, made her awake and they slowly went to the destination.

She went to bed, his coat is still with her, and can't stop gazing at it, and slept holding to it. The next day she reached the office and took her seat, but Ankith was not there at the desk, she opened her laptop and started working on the work assigned to her yesterday.

The doors of the department opened, and Ankush came directly went to Madhumitha and told them, that Ankith is on leave, today his mother is not feeling well, So you have to attend the conference meeting yourself and wished her good luck. 

Hearing this her nervousness still increased, suddenly she remember the words told him, yesterday, she closed her eyes and started thinking about her loved ones, but no one came, suddenly a small boy approached her and stand in front of her and said "Madhu see I drawn this picture for you, you liked it and keep it with you when you miss me, and the boy ran away and in his place a handsome young man staring to her.

 It was no one other than Ankush. When she opened her eyes, really Ankush is front of her, He told her that the meeting is at 10 am sharp, but it was already 9.45 am. Ankith has prepared some PowerPoint presentations for the meeting, I send them to you in your official Email Id which is made when you received the laptop, go through it, she nodded her head.

She went through the presentation and saw that it contains a detailed discussion which was held yesterday. She felt relieved and confident, and she went into the conference room. The meeting started and both Ankush and Madhumitha explained things. The other investors were stunned to see their bonding and chemistry for one hour and it end well.

The investors agreed to invest in the project only if one of them do the animation. They told us we don't believe any other person can create good comics other than you two. At that time they don't have any other option and agreed to their conditions.

Ankush bid farewell to them and called Madhumitha into his cabin, and told" Why you have agreed to their condition, said that you know how difficult is that project. His irritated and worried looks at first frighten her but she told, "Sir, I liked the project hence I agreed, and we don't have any other choices other than to agree to it. I have a good story for this project but I need your and Ankith's support for implementing it will you help me with that. 

He said if you are that confident and can do it then I don't have any problem and go ahead, she smiled and said thank you to him. She suddenly remember something and asked him," Sir will you have lunch with me, if you are free this afternoon. 

She don't want to miss a golden chance to stay with him, luckily and to her surprise he agreed, they finally had their lunch together, and she asked him, the question" Sir, whenever I see you, I remind of my best friend, and he is of your same age today. I called him Appu, Ankush was shocked to hear that nickname that his mom used to call him. He is hearing the name after 5 years. 

He also told me that, I was also having a childhood friend, she will be of your age now, she is also the same as you beautiful, Independent and confident like you I called her Madhu. This is the most memorable day for both of them. Their beautiful gazes are making the afternoon sky more devastating and lovable.

They both walked towards the company, engage themselves in casual talk, and shared their memories of childhood, they understood that they are destined to meet. They recognize each other and shared their beautiful childhood memories. They discussed their work and many more things, hugged each other, and slowly moved toward the office.

They completed their days' work and rest themselves in their rooms, she was happy that she was finally found him, and he recognize her, the memories of their childhood are still fresh in their minds. The darkness of the night was still beautiful for both of them.
