The next two days were a bustle of activity in the castle as everyone prepared for the Royal Coven Ball that would take place tomorrow night. In less than twenty-four hours, I'd know my fate. Despite that looming over my head, anticipation bubbled inside of me. I'd never been to a ball before, and the thought of getting dressed up and dancing the night away was exciting. Too bad the one person I wanted to spend the night dancing with wouldn't be here.
But Isach would be here, and I was anxious to talk to him and find out what was going on. He'd told me to hang in here a little longer, and I had, but what did that mean? He had to have a plan, right? I couldn't wait to find out.
"Up or down?" Sophie asked. She stood in front of the mirror and twisted her hair atop her head, then dropped it.
"Up," I said.
"Definitely up," Peyton agreed.
