Chapter 25: The power of an Immortal King (1/2)

"Young master, please save us," the lady among the group shouted at KaiKai.

"get away from me; don't involve me in your trouble," KaiKai replied while running.

"If you can help us, we promise to give you information about a huge fortune," the lady said.

"Thank you, but I don't need it, just stay away from me," KaiKai replied. He wasn't running because he was scared of fighting; he was only running cause the lady group was trying to involve him, which is selfish.

Suddenly KaiKai felt a sense of danger from behind him, and before he turned back to look, a fast arrow pierced the air and arrived behind him; Kai reacted based on his instinct, and he dodged the arrow with good agility skills.

Kai stopped running after dodging the arrow; he turned around slowly, his gaze turned cold; he looked at the young man seated on the black tiger.

"Why did you attack me when I have done nothing wrong," KaiKai asked coldly.

The young man sneered at KaiKai before he replied, "Why do I need a reason to kill an ant? Since you stand in my way, then I have to trample you to death," the young man replied coldly, and before KaiKai knew it, he was surrounded by the young man subordinates.

Kai stood calmly while the three groups that were being chased stood behind him. Kai's body trembled in anger; he hated it when people looked down on him; although he had no talent, he had no heaven blessing, and he had always put twice the effort into every step he took. However, KaiKai will not allow anyone to look down on him, no matter how great that person is.

"Su Rong, hand over the map," the young man said calmly to the lady among the group.

"You bastard Jinhai" the lady yelled at the young man.

"Su Rong, why do you have to make this hard? All I need is the map; then I will spare your life," Jinhai replied calmly.

"Like I will fall for your lies again? Don't even think about it, 'cause I will never give you what you want after deceiving me and my family," Su Rong replied with tears.

"you can't blame me, Su Rong, your Su family is filled with a bunch of desperate fools; that's why they can fall for the little trick of my Da clan, can you blame us for your clan's desperate wish to rise after declining so much?" Jinhai said.

"heeey, what makes you think I'm an ant to you?" Kai's cold voice rang out in the middle of their conversation, and he was boiling with anger.

Jinhai turned to look at KaiKai, his face turned cold, "How dare a mortal as you interrupt me when I'm speaking?" he said coldly. "kill that bastard for me and bring me the Su Rong," Jinhai ordered his men with anger.

All Jinhai men are in the early stage of the immortal realm even though they are just ordinary immortals, but still, they are men who will be respected anywhere in the Xian-Shan continent.

Immediately after Jinhai gave the order, they all released their immortal qi and rushed before attacking KaiKai and the two bodyguards following Su Rong. Kai's face turned cold, and his saber appeared in his hand; without giving Jinhai men to approach him, he used his mind to control all the abyssal energy inside his saber.

Kai had been taking his time to connect with the abyssal energy since the moment Jinhai talked to Su Rong; also, he could connect to the energy faster because he had already done it once.

Without any fancy techniques, Kai roared and made a wide saber-range slash; his attack was stronger because it contained his anger amplified by the abyssal energy.

Kai's attack collided with their attacks, and all of them were thrown away; Kai's attack was heavy, and many mountains were shattered, reducing them to rubbles.

Kai's eyes turned utterly blood red, and before those immortals thrown away could stabilize themselves, Kai already followed them up with another wide range- attack, and immediately, six of them were beheaded, leaving only four of them alive but severely injured.

Kai was on another level when controlling the abyssal energy, and he was not worried about exhausting energy because he depended on the world's energy. He can only be concerned about the burden the power caused on his body and soul.

Kai used his mind to control a vast amount of abyssal energy around and his saber, and immediately only his blood-red eyes were visible, and he looked like the incarnate of the devil; he turned to Jinhai was still seated on his mount Majestical.

Kai knew that fighting Jinhai would not be easy, but he was not willing to back down; moreover, he had already planned to fight Jinhai to prepare for his mission.

Kai pointed his saber at Jinhai, "You brutal fiends who torment the weak," Kai'sKai's voice resounded throughout the vicinity. The low, guttural sound made it seem like he had returned from the depth of the deepest abyss.

"a frog who doesn't know how high the heavy is; you dare kill my men; that's an act of defiant to my dignity; I will show you the difference in immortal," Jinhai said in a cold tone before he stood up elegantly from his mount and he started floating in the air.

Jinhai released a vast aura that his ten times stronger than those ordinary immortals; he looked coldly at KaiKai, "As a mortal, you are meant to bow in front of an immortal king like me; I shall show you the difference between the ordinary immortal and immortal king, you lowly being." He said coldly; Jinhai was putting on an act that he was a god.

"Then show me what the true power of an immortal King looks like," Kai replied. But the reply he got was, "You are not worthy."

"Well, you gave me no choice. I will have to make you eat back your word," Kai said, his aura becoming more aggressive.

Kai slashed five times upward with a quick movement that seemed like he slashed once; each attack was layered on the other, each stronger than the last.

However, in Jinhai's eyes, the attacks were not fast enough. He gently reached out his hand and flicked his finger toward the attacks; immediately, Kai's attacks were shattered like glasses.

Kai's eyes shrank a little, but the next moment his eyes lit up, and his battle intent grew stronger; Kai had always noted that fighting stronger enemies and facing many life-and-death situations was the only way for him to grow stronger.

Therefore, seeing how strong Jinhai was, his battle intent was ignited; immediately, he knew that fighting such an expert as Jinhai would require him to push his body to the very limit; however, killing such an expert would be impossible for the current him.

"weak, if this is all you've got, then don't blame me for sending you off earlier," Jinhai's voice rang out coldly, and immediately he pointed two fingers toward Kai; without saying anything, he motioned his finger downward.

Immediately, Kai felt a heavy pressure pressed down on him; his legs bent a little, his bones creaked, and his whole body trembled violently.

A massive gravitational force was pressing down on Kai, aiming to crush him to paste, but kai body was not to be underestimated; his body was stronger than it looked.

Kai gritted his teeth and used his strong will to resist the pressure while thinking," Is this the power of an immortal king? If so, how strong will a supreme immortal be? Damn it; this is becoming interesting, hehehee, immortal king, immortal supreme, I don't care what immortal you all might be, I shall make you all my whetstone if you block my path".

With a loud grunt, KaiKai will more abyssal energy towards him; he immediately felt the pressure reduced, then he used his body to resist the remaining pressure and straighten his back.

"Ohh, you have a strong will there," Jinhai said coldly.

"is this all you've got?" KaiKai asked in a menacing tone.

"don't be happy yet; that was only 10% of my pressure, naive mortal," Jinhai replied coldly; standing in the air, jinhai blue and white robe was flapping gently, and his black hair that reached his shoulder was also flapping behind him, he had one hand fold behind his back while his other hand was pointing at Kai with two fingers.

Kai narrowed his eyes when he heard that he had only withstood 10% of Jinhai's power; however, instead of feeling depressed, Kai was more excited. So he yelled, "Bring it on, you awful villain."

"As you wish". Jinhai motioned his finger up gently, and immediately a huge golden ring with immense pressure appeared from the sky; when it appeared, everything started floating upward gently; the mountains, stones, and the soulless body on the ground began floating gently.
