"Gu-Yan, send a message to Spider-face and MadBull; tell them to kill Kai in the coming inner region ranking exam, inform them to show no mercy, and that I will take care of the aftermath myself."

"Yes, brother," Gu-Yan replied.

In the third layer of the first level of the purgatory land, a young man with long black hair, golden eye color, and a completely well-built body figure was cultivating in a hidden cave below a large mountain; this young man was Kai, of course.

Kai has been cultivating in this cave ever since he stepped into the third layer; he felt like he was close to breaking through to the next level in his cultivation. Kai opened his eyes. he sighed heavily; it had been a week he had been meditating, but there was no improvement.

Suddenly, something clicked in Kai's mind. He remembered a map that Suyin had given him, and immediately, the map appeared in his hand, "Maybe I should check this place out and see what it has in store for me," he thought.

Without further delay, Kai started studying the map; according to the map, the treasure was located in the corner of this layer, so Kai only needed to figure out where exactly.

Finally, after five minutes, Kai figured out the secret location on the map, so he started walking in its direction while also trying his best to hide from the many wings devil, shadowthorn, and the bull devil.

The bull devil is another form of devil kai that came across in the third layer; their body is a fusion of both human and bull characteristics, resulting in a terrifying and formidable presence.

Kai was doing his best to avoid these terrifying creatures because they exuded a heavy aura: the wing devil, shadowthorn, or bull devil. All of them were in the immortal stage with vast and thick killing aura around them.

After five hours, Kai arrived at the location depicted on the map h was holding, he should have gotten here much earlier, but he had to take his time, hiding and avoiding the creature's surveillance.

In front of Kai stood a tall black mountain that exuded heavy pressure; this mountain looked like a volcano, and at the same time, it gave off the feeling of death.

Kai was terrified by the presence of the mountain, he took three steps back, and a frown appeared on his face; he realized this mountain's appearance was too eye-catching for it to be hidden from the world; however, what Kai failed to understand was that this mountain was hidden by an illusion formation formed by the mountains surrounding it. He was only able to find it with the help of the map.

Kai took a deep breath to regulate his breathing before walking toward the mountains; the closer Kai got to the mountain, the heavier, the pressure on him became.

He kept moving forward; when Kai got closer to the mountain, he finally got a good appearance of the mountain, and he was left speechless.

When closer to the mountain, it was not actually that huge or anything, but the pressure coming from it was now hundredfold, while when one is looking at the mountain from a distance, the mountain seems massive, towering to the sky like a giant. However, the pressure coming from it was lighter than when one was closer to it.

Kai was amazed by such logic; he looked at the mountain from the bottom to the top. On top of the mountain, he saw multiple huge chains as thick as the mountains, bounding a gigantic hilt.

He followed the direction the chains came from, and he saw that these chains came from within the multiple huge mountains surrounding the mountain with the massive Hilt on top of it.

Suddenly something clicked in Kai's mind, and he felt like he might have walked into a huge secret that was hidden from the world. Immediately the thought of leaving this place appeared in his mind, and without delay, he turned back, wanting to leave this place.

However, the moment he turned back, a heavy pressure he had never felt before in his life appeared, and a vast majestical aura pressed down on him from nowhere. Immediately Kai's bone creaked, and the sound of breaking bone rang out from within his body; he felt like his soul will be extinguished at any moment, but he resisted the pressure.

With all his will and strength, Kai managed to take a step forward, but the moment he took that step forward, the Hilt on the mountain vibrated slightly, shaking the whole chains bounding it down; instantly, a vast aura of desolation appeared and pressed down Kai.

Kai's eyes widened in terror, and he roared loudly. However, there was nothing he could do because the moment the aura pressed down on him, and his body was blasted to many pieces.
