Deathmatch! Mays VS Kokakola

Magic Swordsman's exclusive domain skill. Back in HeavensTale, it was the most useless domain skill ever. Mays lost count on how many time he cursed the fact that he was the only hidden class with a useless domain skill.

Unlike [Mystic Domain] which had the effect of reducing enemy's accuracy and preventing them from using skills, [Endless Domain] didn't impact his opponents at all. It didn't boost him in any way either. It was practically a cyan blue barrier without any additional effect besides trapping his opponents together with him inside it.

"Man, I never thought I could find a use for this useless skill here in this world."

Mays smiled wryly as he remembered how useless this skill was back in the game. The only difference his domain barrier had compared to the others was that it was totally indestructible if he meant it to be so.

Other domain's barrier would instantly shattered when the caster was killed but that was not the case with [Endless Domain]. As the name implies, it was practically endless. One couldn't destroy the barrier even if they wanted to. In fact, they couldn't touch the barrier at all. There was even a hidden mechanism which prevented them from coming closer to the barrier.

Mays grinned once again when he noticed that not only Kokakola was trapped in his domain but the other two insane boss too. His plan was proceeding accordingly.

"Ready to get torn into pieces, human?"

Kokakola was eager to tear his opponent apart. Mays was also fixated on Kokakola in front of him, ignoring the other two bosses who stood at the side. In his eyes, there was only one opponent, the only one he was determined to kill no matter at what cost.

"I truly want to see exactly how strong you really are. Magic shield, Hellfire burst!"

Mays strode out, clad in terrifying flames, akin to a Flaming Wargod. Both his crimson sword were ready to strike.

"Come, human."

Kokakola calmly replied, similarly advancing towards Mays. He was in his human form, facing off Mays in a direct fight.

Both of them attacked at the exact same instant, one side with a flaming sword against one demonic vampire fist. They instantly collided against the other, producing energy burst all over the place. The hellfire armor on Mays body spread out blocking the extensive damage produced by their collision. Kokakola's fist were also burnt as a result of that direct confrontation.

"You are just so so. Fireball!"

Nonchalantly commenting, Mays stared at Kokakola with a mocking look. He retracted his sword before sending a magic attack which totally caught Kokakola off-guard. He never thought that Mays was also well versed in normal projectile magic. Mays was the one and only magic swordsman after all, nobody really knew to what extent his capability was.

"Oh, this human is quite good."

"Good indeed. He planned several steps ahead."

Both Shalala and Drasca was quite impressed by Mays. He could hold his ground even against an insane boss alone. True, Kokakola was not using his full strength yet but this human was really remarkable.

"Poooov!"

"Ktooooov!"

A maelstrom of destruction ensued, with Mays and Kokakola standing at the center of the domain. The terrifying shockwaves blasted all around, sending all the rubbles away leaving only craters at the fight scene.

"Ktaaaang!"

Mays was sent flying several meters away. Kokakola had used his full power on his last attack. Since he was gravely injured in previous battle, his current power was just around eighty percent of his real power from before. He couldn't even change into his real form at the moment.

A normal players couldn't withstand consecutive insane boss's attack head on. Even eighty percent of their power was more than enough to kill players. Shalala and Drasca was quite shocked when they noticed how Mays deliberately took that attack when he could evade it if he wanted to.

From the circular crater where Mays landed, he once again stood up with a smile on his face. His eyes shone with determination despite the dire situation where he was facing the overwhelming odd.

"Something is not right. Drasca, read his mind!"

"Okay."

Shalala was the first who noticed something was amiss. She was quite observant despite her arrogant and prideful nature. Drasca who stood by her side complied as she focused her power to read Mays's mind.

"That man… he… he…"

"What?"

Seeing how shocked Drasca was, even Shalala started fretting. She didn't know what Mays had in his mind. If by any chance Mays had something powerful enough to defeat all of them, it would be too late for her to regret later. Despite being hailed as the second strongest, she knew that there were many things which could kill her. This human could not by any chance possessed one of those things.

"He was adamant on dying as long as he take Kokakola down with him!"

"HAAA??"

This time it was Shalala who was shocked. She thought that Mays would have something under his sleeve but apparently he didn't. She was afraid for nothing.

"But…"

"But?"

"It's impossible for him to win against Kokakola."

"HAAAA??"

Once again she was shocked senseless. At the same time, she was quite pissed at Drasca who always talked in short sentence. She should just said everything right away.

"And…"

"FINISH IT ALL WITHOUT PAUSE DAMNIT!!"

"We will stuck here forever if he died. The end."

"Say that part sooner damnit!"

Shalala was furious at the indifferent Drasca. It was as if none of that mattered to her at all. At the moment, Mays was about to fall, his body full of injury. It was somewhat a miracle for him to be alive after he took countless beating from Kokakola head on.

"Hey human. Why are you not fighting back?"

Even Kokakola who was fighting against Mays felt that something was not right. This human in front of him never was this weak. With his party, he managed to force him, the great Kokakola to the brink of defeat. Even at the start of the battle, this human faced him off with great vigor.

It was just that in the middle of the battle it suddenly felt like his opponent gave up on the fight. Kokakola also realized that Mays's focus had been shifted from him toward those two who stood by the side.

"Am I?"

Wiping off the blood which dripped from his mouth, Mays replied nonchalantly. His eyes was still as determined as before. He suddenly shifted his attention toward the other two observer before he started talking again.

"So, do you guys planned on watching till the end? With that crystal dragon present, I bet you guys already know what would happen if I die here."

"Futile effort, human. They won't care if I tear you apart, human!"

Kokakola was already in front of Mays when he said that. He was about to swing his right arm toward Mays who lowered his guard in the middle of their fight. He was sure that this attack would without doubt kill this fragile human in front of him.

"Enough, Kokakola. Stop attacking him."

"HAAAA??"

Shalala was a mighty phoenix with the blessing of fire. Her specialty was obviously fire elemental magic and reincarnation. Drasca on the other hand had a unique traits. Even among dragon kin, she was the only one who specialized on mind magic.

"Is everything he said the truth, Drasca?"

"Yes."

"NONSENSE!"

Shalala stomped her feet and a large crater appeared underneath her. This crater was way bigger than the crater produced from the battle between Mays and Kokakola previously. This just showed how much stronger she was compared to them.

At the moment, Kokakola was trying hard to attack the domain's barrier surrounding the area. He tried his hardest but it was proven to be useless. He couldn't even touch the barrier. His attack on the other hand just passed through the barrier as if it was not there. He couldn't flew away either, he was forced back inside by an unknown force every time he tried.

"Well, my terms is simple. Kill Kokakola and wear these. I will release you guys after I safely go back. Or we can just spend the rest of our life here, it's your pick."

Truth be told, his terms was totally overbearing. He even urged both Shalala and Drasca to wear the [Unique Slave Collar]. These insane bosses had no idea what that collar was but Drasca explained it to everyone after she read Mays's mind. True, Mays promised to release the two of them after he escaped but how much of his word were true? They were enemies after all.

"I'm going to rest for a bit. Think about it okay. And these, I'll just put it here. You guys know what to do."

As if everything else never mattered, Mays nonchalantly lie down on the ground and took a sleeping pose in front of the two bosses. He even put the collars in front of him, tempting those two boss to take them.

Mays real plan was just to delay these three until the time was up. This was his actual gamble. Back in HeavensTale, the dungeon instance would be auto reset after one whole day. Since the time here was around fifty time slower, he predicted that the same thing might happen here if he trapped these bosses here for two months. He might even survived if these bosses didn't attack him during this period.

Prior to this, Mays's plan was just to use the domain as a pretext to sow discontent within these bosses, to kill Kokakola. It was actually in the middle of the battle that he remembered about the [Unique Slave Collar] he got from Ria. Mays himself didn't know if this collar would work on insane boss or not. Now that it came to this, it was obviously the perfect opportunity to try it out.

"You just want us to wear these right?"

"Eh?"

On that random inquiry, Mays unintentionally let out a shocked voice. Never had he imagined that Drasca would actually approached him and took one of the collar herself. She even tried to put it on right away before Shalala stopped her.

"What are you doing? Who knows what will happen when we wear these."

Shalala's voice was filled with anger. She would never lower her head in front of an enemy. She was also shocked at Drasca's random behavior. Why would she wanted to try that collar? Did she find out something about it?

Even Kokakola who was attacking the domain's barrier since earlier paused for a bit. His gaze was focused on both Drasca and Shalala.

"I don't know."

"They why bother listening to him? He might turn back on his word later on. Humans are despicable, on par with those demons."

Shalala was still trying to persuade Drasca not to try out that collar. She felt that something might actually happened if they put it on. She couldn't describe it but she just felt it.

"He won't."

Shalala was speechless when she heard that. With Drasca's ability to read minds, she knew that Mays was someone who wouldn't turn back on his word.

"And."

"And?"

"He don't know what would happen either."

"HAA?!"

Once again, Shalala was left speechless. If this human didn't know what would happen then why would he ever asked them to do so?

Both Shalala and Drasca were not demonic beings. They didn't really hate humans unlike Kokakola who couldn't see eye and eye with them. Since the two of them were nature's humanoid beast, their take on everything differed with those demonic beings, especially matters regarding humans.

The moment Drasca put on the collar, a bright light shot down from the sky, directly enshrouding Drasca. Mays and Shalala were thrown away while Drasca alone was basked under the bright light. The bright light passed through the domain barrier as it engulfed Drasca alone within its light.

"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!"

Drasca pained scream made Shalala angry. She then grabbed Mays's by his collar and glared at him.

"If something happened to her, you won't walk away unscratched!"

Shalala and Drasca was never the best of friends. It was never mentioned back in HeavensTale either. If not, Mays would already knew about it beforehand. There were actually something pulling the string behind this world, making several fact in it different from the world of HeavensTale Mays once knew.

"So? My life already forfeit the moment I stepped into your fortress anyways. Why would I care?"

"Tch, human!"

Upon hearing Mays's nonchalant reply, Shalala tossed him away before she rushed toward the light pillar. She tried her best to enter the pillar but she couldn't do it. The repelling force from the light pillar was just too strong, as if it was not from this world.

"Ktannnggg!"

Shalala was sent flying quite a distance away after enduring the repelling force for almost one minute. She frowned as she stared at the light pillar from afar. Kokakola was also doing nothing as he blankly stared at Drasca who was in the middle of the light pillar.

An hour passed with nothing happened in between. Mays had long ago recovered from all his injuries thanks to the [Greater Potion]. Kokakola was not attacking the domain's barrier anymore. He already reached the conclusion that the barrier really was indestructible.

Mays was as shocked as both Shalala and Kokakola when the light pillar shot down from the sky. This was also his first time witnessing something like that. He really had no clue as of why something like that happened.

"Shalala. We just gonna wait and do nothing?"

"What do you want to do then? You can't even touch that barrier yet you talk so much."

"At least, the human…"

"Shut up weakling. We are trapped here forever if he died!"

The timid Kokakola shut his mouth upon hearing Shalala's angry shout. He was no match for her hence he could only asked her nicely. Too bad, this phoenix lady has a short fuse and enshrouded in anger most of the time.

"By the way, Shalala. Do you mind killing that weak vampire for me? I'll release the domain once he is dead."

Mays taunted Shalala yet again. He knew that despite how hot headed this fiery woman seemed to be, she was not someone who easily back stab people on her side. Even if that person was someone she despised, she wouldn't do so. That fact about her was still the same as in HeavensTale.

"Fat chance, human!"

She snorted as she turned her head away, not planning on listening to Mays anymore.

"Heheh figured."

Mays chuckled as he took out something from his space belt. At this rate, this stalemate would never end. This would continue for years if nothing was done. His main goal was to kill Kokakola, nothing else mattered. Even if he died in the process, he was content.

"Maaaan, I haven't used this item for years."

Stood tall in front of Mays at the moment was a scarecrow. A black human like doll equipped with a stand. It was the most basic item in HeavensTale. Every player was gifted one when they signed into the game.

This scarecrow was one of the miscellaneous item in HeavensTale which was totally useless. Rather than being able to imitate the level of people it touched, it basically had no other effect. A max level scarecrow was still a scarecrow in the end. It couldn't possibly move or fight on its own. There really was no reason for this item to exist. HeavensTale unexpectedly had a lot of these useless items though.

"What is he doing?"

"Stop talking to me, weakling!"

"…"

Kokakola was rendered speechless at how irritating Shalala was. If not because she was way stronger than him, he wouldn't even bother asking her anything. Drasca was still unconscious inside the light pillar. At least, she was not screaming anymore. Even her facial expression was now relaxed and tranquil.

"Hey, mister vampire lord."

"What, mortal?"

"Touch! Hehehe."

"Don't touch me, human!"

Using the doll's hand, he tapped Kokakola's back. Obviously Kokakola retaliated right away which resulted in Mays being sent flying a few meters away. He even shielded the scarecrow with his own body.

Without glancing at the others, Mays started hitting the scarecrow leisurely. Starting with a punch, he followed up with a kick and another punch and then a stab and all other random move he thought of. There were no pattern as he really was just hitting the scarecrow without thinking.

"Do you know that your name sounds like a certain soft drink?"

"Ridiculous!"

"Do you know your real form looks like a bat?"

"Insolent! The great me was way superior than those mindless beast!"

Mays kept talking nonsense while his hand and feet were busy striking the scarecrow nonstop. He grinned several time as he continued his idle chatter. Shalala was observing Mays from afar, trying to figure out what this human was planning to do.

"And, do you know that…"

"Enough! Talking with you… ARGHH!!"

"YOU WILL DIE IN TEN SECOND!"

A loud bang came out as if the world was torn apart. Kokakola was not at his previous location anymore. Mays was not either. There was nobody beside the scarecrow. Shalala immediately stood up with her eyes wide open. Mays's previous move was way too fast that even someone on her level could barely keep up.

"What… in… the… world…"

There were traces of astonishment on her face. This was after all her very first time seeing a human capable of such feat. Shalala immediately leapt forward toward Mays who was currently hitting Kokakola without holding back. In mere two second, Kokakola was beaten black and blue by Mays.

Steam of crimson smog was spread out by Mays. The transparent halo on top of his head and a pair of crimson transparent wings behind his back were the proof that he had once again entered his ultimate form, the celestial form.

Shalala was dumbfounded as she couldn't recognize those halo and wings. A normal human could never have those. At the same time, the crimson smog surrounding Mays kept dispersing into optical illusions of ferocious beast one after another, with the purpose of evoking fear upon those watching. Shalala was not in the least intimidated by those illusion though.

"Finally regretting the fact that you didn't kill me when you have the chance, mister vampire lord?"

With his right foot on top of Kokakola's head, Mays looked domineering beyond words. Both his halo and wings played a big role in that though. Even Shalala herself felt shiver down her spine when she looked at the current Mays.

"This guy… he is not a simple human at all!"

Shalala trembled in excitement as she saw how Mays was beating Kokakola again and again. In the span of five seconds, he already hit Kokakola more than twenty times. Nobody would refute this guy if he ever claimed to be the strongest human for sure.
