In the sewer surrounded by blood mixed with hannah liquid

A soft voice echoed

"How could I get strong as you?"

A child muttered, its body was covered with blood and its lower half has a huge bite mark, while the bone on her leg was already exposed

Madell opened her eyes just remembering what happened that day send shiver to her fur

A vendor was looking at her with a complicated expression on its face

"Elder do you want a recommendation?"

The humakey asked Madell,

"No need, I know what to pick" Madell said as she stare at what the vendor was selling

scrolls was laid on the table, it have colorful design to make children's curious

With a minute of thinking Madell finally asked the nervous vendor

"What color do you think human likes"

The vendor looked at Madell before answering

"Elder I don't know-

"Wait" Madell said not letting the vendor finished its sentence

'I remember my brother saying mandell's not a human....so does that mean she have a different preference compared to a human'

Madell thought, before saying to the humakey in front if her

"Forget my last question, do you know what color children's like?"

The vendor looked at what he is selling before giving his opinion

"Elder I think kids like something colorful"

The vendor grabbed the scroll which have a gold glittering cover

"I think something shiny like this would pique the curiosity of children's"

"...."

Madell looked at the golden scroll and thought for a short second

"Then I'll buy the gold one"

"Th-thank you" The vendor said with his voice filled with joy

Madell took a whole hour before having the thought of asking for a recommendation and he can't actually say something rude to an elder so the vendor couldn't help but felt grateful that the elder finally picked something

"Here's the payment, younamey"

Madell left with the scroll on her hand now that she bought what she needed she walked to the direction of the healing house

When she opened the door what welcomed her is Gin, her student which spilled the existant of Mandell to the others

"Teach" Gin said with his cheeks full of food after calling Madell Gin continued on chewing the food that filled hua cheeks

The humakey next to gin swallowed what he is eating and said to his teacher

"Teach, the human woke up earlier"

"really, how?" Madell asked the two present

Gin didn't heard Madell and continued eating while the humakey beside him just stared blankly to Madell

"...this meat is delicious"

"?"

Seeing no one was answering her not that she expect anyone to answer, Madell head upstairs

Mandell's body was seriously injured and at the time she was trying to heal the child

She put the mixture of herbs at the child's body, when it contact with the herbs the child's body slowly release bubbles on the wounds

The more bubble was released the more it colors change to green

The process feels like swords was being stab all over your body then slowly being pulled out one by one , a humakey that she used the mixed herb on reported to Madell

Knowing the pain that the child need to go through just to expel the poison, Madell decided to make the child sleep while she expel the poison out of mandell's body

Even if she's unconscious that should have took a huge toll on the child's body but one of her student said they saw Mandell awake

Its only two days since that event happened, I remember the child fainting and not waking up for three days cause she can't handle the heat

Madell took a deep breath before opening the door to her office

She put her small bag at the table, her gripped on the scroll tighten when she took a step closer at the door leading to mandell's room

When she opened the door there she saw the child sleeping peacefully

"What a peaceful face she's making" Madell muttered before carefully closing the door

She put the scroll at the side of the tray that contains a number of fruits

"How can they feed a patient with just fruits...she also need herbs, jeez that students of mine " Madell muttered

She stared at the child's sleeping face, before reaching her hand at the kids black hair

"uumm!" Mandell's head twitch the second Madell stroke her hair

"sorry child" Madell whispered moving her finger out of the child's hair

Madell looked at the child's face for a couple of seconds before quietly leaving the room

"this is delicious" Gin said to the humakey on his side

"dont talk with your mouth open" The humakey replied, before taking a bite out of the round blue roasted meat

"Can you give the child something like that when she wake up"

A voice coming from upstairs

Gin keeps on chewing his food while the humakey on his side looked at the stairs where he saw his teacher

"Yes!, I'll buy one now teach" He said before grabbing Gins hand

"come on, you can finish that later" He said to gin before pulling gin out of the healing house

Dexter woke up and immediately felt piercing pain all over his body, trying to forget about the sudden pain of his body the young lad tried to move thinking that he rested enough

But sure enough just as the sudden pain implied dexter could not move a single part of his body, and he only felt pain on his right leg, the part of his body that he tried to lift

With nothing to do he looked around and saw tray at his side containing fruits just like he requested from the humakey wearing a green cap

next to the tray is a golden cylinder which he don't know the use of, its shining brightly so the young lad thought that it might be a source of light

Guesing was all he can do as he can't possibly think of holding it as he can't even touch a single fruit near him
