She felt a little better today. At least, better than the day before.
Previously, the imperial doctor had checked her condition and given her some tonics to drink as well, and she was finally able to get up from her lying position on her bed.
She felt her head spinning slightly in the process, and she hissed in pain as she held her head with her wrinkled hand. "What tonic did the doctor just give me? Why do I feel dizzy now?" She angrily complained as she finally sat up on her bed.
"The tonic might cause side effects, Your Majesty. The doctor also told you to rest in bed for now, right? It's best if you don't wake up if you feel dizzy," the old palace maid tried to reassure the one who was currently sitting on the bed. She tried to put the woman back to lie down on the bed, but the woman waved her hand as a sign that she didn't want to lie down anymore.
