Hangout With Friends

Philip was sitting in the living room waiting for Lucretia. She descends the stairs looking dashing with her cute back pack behind her.

"Phil...." she called as she descends the stairs.

Philip turned to her direction and was mesmerized by her sight. He starred blankly at her without blinking as she neared her. He didn't even notice Lucretia talking to him.

"Phil.....?" she uttered snapping her fingers in front of him looking a little puzzled.

"What were you looking at?" she queried searching curiously at his face as he returned back to reality.

"Nothing..." he answered sheepishly and dashed off to the door.

Lucretia turned to look at him in bemusement as he walked to the and shrugged.

"Whatever...." she muttered and dashed off after him.

"We are leaving mum...." she exclaimed as they walked out of the door.

"Okay..dear.., enjoy your day." exclaimed Mrs Angelica after them.

The walked out of the compound on to the walkway. Lucretia took out and phone and called Crystal.

"Where are you girls?" she muttered on hearing her voice on the other side of the phone.

"We're in front of the grocery shop opposite the road leading to the central park. Are you coming?" she queried.

"Yes...Did you get all the snacks?"

"No, not yet. We're actually waiting for you guys first. Are you with Jayden?"

"Um....." she mumbled turning to look at Philip.

"Well.., I'm with Philip. Should I pass by his house to check on him?" she added.

"No, I don't think that will be necessary. You should get here first. I will have Mimie call him."

"Okay...see you girls later."

"Okay..." replied Crystal and hanged up.

Lucretia smiled at her phone and dropped it in her bag.

"Was that Crystal?" he queried

"Yeah..." she replied with a nod

"I guess we should hurry then." he replied with a smile.

"Sure...." she replied but before she could say anymore, Philip took her hand and ran off with her to the bus stop, laughing and giggling.

THE BUS STOP

"What was that Phil...?" questioned Lucretia, panting heavily as Philip let go off her hand.

Just then the bus pulled up

"Let's go..." he muttered with a grin and went into the bus ignoring her question.

Lucretia followed him in and they found themselves an empty seat.

"Go first.." he uttered, offering her the seat beside the window since it's always been her favourite spot on the bus.

"Thank you.." she gestured with a bow and went ahead to sit first.

Philip smiled and also sat beside her.

"I missed when we used to go to school together." he uttered.

Lucretia turned to look at him a little surprised and nudged him on the ribs.

"Hey...what's wrong with you?" she queried quizzically with a raised chin.

Philip looked at her with a grin

"Don't you miss that too?" he questioned

"Crazy..., who said I do? I'm actually so happy with not having you to bug me around every morning. It feels good, you know." she mumbled sarcastically with a gleeful look.

Philip chuckled , nodding

"I can see that." he mumbled with a smile and turned his gaze from her.

Lucretia smiled and turned away

"I actually missed you so much Phil. I missed our times together." she mumbled in her thoughts.

They continued to chat and took selfies as they used to do whenever they were together.

It was already 10pm when the bus pulled up in front of their stop. They both got off and walked to the mentioned grocery store in search of their friends but didn't see them. Luckily, Mimie saw them and gestured them over.

"Over here.." murmured Mimie.

"oh, there they are." uttered Lucretia to Philip, pointing to the direction where Crystal and Mimie stood.

He smiled and they went over to them.

"Where are the rest?" questioned Lucretia as they neared them.

"Well.., Jayden is on his way and Mike went together with Eugene to get some snacks for themselves." answered Crystal

"You know Mike and his habit. Always looking for something to eat." added Mimie

"Did someone just mentioned my name?" queried Mike from behind them with a grin.

Crystal and Mike looked on with a smile while Philip and Lucretia turned to face them.

"You two are finally here." he added.

Philip and Lucretia nodded with a smile. Just then, Jayden also arrived.

"Sorry for keeping you guys waiting." he uttered as he neared them.

"It's nothing, we just got here ourselves." said Lucretia.

"Yeah.." the rest answered in unison.

"You guys will have to wait for us as we go and get more snacks, juice and bottles of water before living." said Crystal

"Sure..." uttered Mike and Eugene.

"Do you care if I come along?" queried Jayden.

"Sure..." answered Lucretia with a grin.

"Can I also come along?" questioned Philip

Lucretia starred a him with a calculating face and shrugged.

"Whatever, suite yourself." she uttered indifferently and dashed off following Crystal and Mimie. Jayden and Philip trailed after them.

Few minutes later, they came out with loads of snacks, juice and water. They dropped it in the boot of Crystal's family mini van which was taking them to the fair.

"I guess we are set." questioned Crystal

"Yes" they exclaimed in unison.

"Shall we get going?" she muttered.

Their conversation was interrupted by a voice from behind them.

"I think you've forgotten one person." a voice uttered.

They all turned to the direction of the voice.

"Daisy...?" they exclaimed in unison with a surprised look.

"Yes, why looking so surprised. You know this trip won't be fun without me." she uttered smugly

"And who said you can come along?" queried Lucretia with a glare.

"You forgot to invite me so I saved you the stress and invited myself. Am I not so generous? she uttered indifferently

" Lucretia, I think you should stop this." said Philip as he went over to Daisy.

Lucretia gave him a glare and dashed into the car. Mimie and Crystal also starred at Daisy furiously and joined Lucretia in the van.

Jayden, Mike and Eugene sighed and joined them in the van.

"Why didn't you call me before coming?" questioned Philip

"I did but you weren't answering." she answered with a jolly voice.

"I'm sorry..." she added

"Okay..,okay..,let's go. Everybody is waiting." he answered and they both joined the others in the van.

Lucretia glared at Philip as he took his seat beside Daisy. Philip starred at her apologetically and she grumpily turned away.

"We can go now Mr. Felix." uttered Crystal

"Yes ma'am." he answered and drove off.
