Back To School
Lucretia and Philip got to the bus stop panting heavily.
"Was that even necessarily, Luc..." he said, out of breath as he slightly bend, holding his knees.
"Cmon..., let's find a seat." she pulled him and they glided into the bus. They found a seat just two seats away from the driver and the bus sped off after some few seconds.
They kept teasing each other until they got to the school's bus stop.
"Hell no..., I'm not going to give in to that." said Lucretia as she got down from the bus followed by Philip. Just as they trod into the school's compound, they saw Crystal and Mimie walking some few distance ahead of them.
"Crystal..., Mimie...." she called.
They both turned instantaneously with a smile, knowing who exactly the voice belongs to.
"Lucretia..." cried Mimie gleefully as she hugged her. "Oh.., who do we have here?" she glanced quizzically at Lucretia as she noticed Philip over her shoulders. She leaned into her ears and whispered, " what's going on?"
She drew back as she waited anxiously for a reply.
"I guess I will be going now girls..." he said as he saw his friends strolling towards the classroom. "excuse me." He smiled and sped off.
They all stared behind him as he joined his friends. Mimie glanced back at her friends and noticed Crystal's indifferent expression.
"Am I the only one at sea here?" she glanced quizzically at them.
"I guess so..." replied Crystal as she took the lead ahead of them. Mimie stared at her skeptically as she walked away and slowly turned her gaze back to Lucretia.
Krrriiinggg...
The bell ranged
"Come on Mimie.." said Lucretia with a smile as she trolled off after Crystal.
Mimie stood starring quiet surprised at them as they strolled off.
"Give me some gist girls...." she ran up to them and hanged a hand each around their shoulders, leaving her in between them. They both smiled at her curious and anxious face as they trod on.
"Ow...., I'm so hating my family for this." she murmured and they chuckled her.
"Have any of you seen Jayden?" queried Lucretia quizzically as they rounded the corner to the classroom.
"I guess not..." replied Crystal.
The class was quiet chaotic when they glided in with today being the first after the long summer break. Daisy was sitting in a group with her friends around they walked in.
"Talk of the devil... This term is surely gonna be a long one." sighed Mimie.
Just at the end of her words, she saw a hand waving in the air with a smile.
"Oh Jayden." she said before sauntering towards him, followed by her friends.
"Hi Jay..." she smiled as she sat together with Crystal in the desk in front of him whiles Lucretia sat beside him.
"Aha..Jayden, tell me what you know." Mimie drop the bag on her desk and turned to him.
"What do you mean by what I know?" He stared quizzically at her.
"Oww.., I mean.., about Lucretia and Philip." she wittily uttered.
Jayden surprisingly glanced at Crystal then to Lucretia.
"Excuse me girls..." He took Lucretia's hand. "Come with me." he said, slightly pulling her up.
She stared bluntly at him for some seconds then stood up and he gently dragged her out of the class.
At that time, Philip noticed them. He stared from behind as they rounded the corner to the corridor.
"Hey..., what are you looking at?" nudged Mike.
"Hmm.., nothing." he force a smile on his face.
"Okay..." He shrugged and went on with his chitchats.
As Jayden and Lucretia got midway through the corridor, he let go off Lucretia's hand and turned to face her.
(Sighs) "Can you tell me what's going on Luc...? Are you back to being friends with Philip again?"
"Yes..." she nodded skeptically.
"But why Luc..., he acted like a jerk towards you. How can you act like nothing happened?"
"I know Jay.... but he has accepted his wrongs and asked for forgiveness. What else can I do...., he is my childhood friend you know..."
"I know Luc...but..."
"Don't worry Jay...,I'm gonna be fine. He has truly changed. Trust me. Okay...?" She took his hand into hers. He stared skeptically at her for a while and nodded, "Okay." he smiled and looked down at her hands in his, rubbing them.
"You know I care about you Luc..." He looked at her face. "I know you don't feel the same way I feel about you and I know your feelings towards Philip too but I still care.." He curbed her face and she nodded with a smile.
"Thank you Jay..." she hugged him.
Philip stood at a distance watching them with feeling of jealously all over his face.
"Let's go back, classes will start soon." He heard Jayden say. Just then, he saw them approaching and hide behind one of the pillars as they walked pass.

Classes wasn't quiet busy like the usual since it was the first day after the holidays.
"Gosh...I'm starving, can we go to lunch now..?" said Mimie as she packed her books under her desk, slightly thumping her hands on the desk.
Their sitting positions hasn't quiet changed. Mimie and Crystal sat in the two desks in front of Jayden and Lucretia.
"I think my ear is gonna break from all your compliance Mimie..." said Crystal as she rose from her seat.
Lucretia looked on with a smile and slightly shook his head.
"I really missed you girls..." she giggled.
"Okay girls..., let's go." said Jayden and they all sauntered off, chatting heartedly.
"I think you should tell me." said Mimie as they turned the corner, leading to the canteen.
Daisy finished packing her stuffs into her bag and turned to Philip.
"Let's go for lunch." she smiled.
"I think I will skip Daisy, I don't have the appetite for anything yet."
"You sure...?"
"Yeah..., just go ahead with your friends. I will go to the library for a while."
"Okay." she said defeatedly, "See you after lunch then.." she smiled and went along with Nikita and Nelly.
AT THE CANTEEN
Lucretia sat at the canteen with her friends eating and chitchatting gleefully whiles Daisy and her friends also sat three tables away from them.
"I have not seen much of Daisy today. Is she out of your hair now..?" questioned Mimie as she stared at Daisy's table.
Lucretia and Crystal followed Mimie's gaze as they stuffed a spoon of rice into their mouths.
"Not that I'm sure of but I think for now, yes." replied Lucretia.
They watched for a while as Daisy and her friends laughed and giggled over their table and turned back to their meals.
"They're so full of themselves." chuckled Mimie.
"I guess you girls should better concentrate on your meals if you don't want a piece of them." replied Jayden.
"Whatever." replied Mimie wittily and they snorted, diving into their meals.
Lucretia was about to put another spoon of rice into her mouth when someone place a tray of sandwich and juice beside hers. She stared at the meal in surprise and lifted her head to see who it was.
"Can I join you?"
Her jaw dropped as she stared at the figure in front of her.
"Phil...." she mumbled and all her friends lifted their eyes from their meals to have a look.
"Aren't you suppose to be with Daisy?"
"I wanna join you guys, can I?" He smiled.
"I guess so.." she replied as she saw Jayden's glare.
"Um....sit here." she shifted to make room for Philip to have a seat. He nodded, placing his meal on the table as he sat beside her.
He smiled at Crystal and Mimie. Soon they were laughing and giggling except for Jayden who kept glaring at him with the look that shows his disapproval but have to tolerate for the sake of Lucretia.
DAISY'S TABLE
Nikita was glancing around when the sight of Philip over Lucretia's table caught her attention.
"Um...Daisy?" she uttered, still starring at Lucretia's table.
"Huh..?" she lifted her head from her meals.
"I thought you said Philip wasn't coming for lunch." she turned her gaze to Daisy.
"Hmm..." she nodded.
"Look over there." she pointed to Lucretia's table.
Daisy followed the direction of her hand and saw Philip with Lucretia and her friends. Her eyes instantly flew wide opened with anger.
"Hey Mike..? Did you guys know about this?" she glared at Mike and Eugene.
"No.." They shook their heads.
She turned her gaze back to Lucretia's table and glared furiously at them.
"Let's go girls..." she stood up and dashed out, followed by Nikita and Nelly.
"This is really gonna be a blast." commented Eugene as they gaze at them.
