"Why the heck did he just growl? Do you know the reason? It's such an odd thing for a human to do, you know."- Sophia questioned, she had a out of the world idea, excuse the pun, but again she wanted it confirmed before she said anything else. The goddess, now focused on the question asked, told Sophia, again, that it would be revealed soon.
Giving up on asking because of the non-answer. Sophia turned back to the unfolding scene, where the unknown woman was currently backing away for what looked like a giant wolf! "Huh, I definitely missed something!"- Sophia balked out. "Where did the wolf come from and where did that man disappear to?"- Sophia questioned again, this time flustered. "What the actually heck is happening?!"
"Nice wolf-man~, good wolf-man ~ you don't want to eat me, I'm not tasty at all!"- The unknown woman tried to coax the gigantic beast. But before she could take a further step back, the wolf pounced on her, she screamed out in shear panic and tried to get away, but it was no use, she was pined down but this wolf and from the look on her face expected to be eaten by it.
The wolf placed it nose in her hair and rubbed it head on her neck and shoulders. Seemly enjoying himself, however when it noticed her deep fear of it , it whimpered and crawled back a bit as if to show her it was not going to hurt her. Sophia from her vantage point watched all this in awe. It was so weird to be standing where she was, watching whatever this is, knowing no-one other than herself could see this. It was baffling to say the least.
The unknown woman tightly clenched eyes slowly opened to see dazzling ocean blue eye staring back at her. Before she could register how stunning they were, the wolf seemed to shimmer, like dazzling fine glitter shining under the rays of the sun before the handsomely godly man from before appeared in front of her eyes, and again Sophia and the unknown woman were dumbfounded.
"I knew it!"- Sophia suddenly belted out. "I just knew he was the wolf. There was no one else here but the two of them, and he couldn't have possible drowned in the lake so quickly with my back turned, so how could he have just disappeared like that!"- Sophia felt quite clever at that moment, but the goddess watching everything that was happening before her, just rolled her eyes, 'tsk like it's that hard to guess?'- The goddess quipped internally.
The unknown woman was still stunned, she starred at the man unabashedly, this was not what she had expected at all, she thought that when she got out of the lake after falling over, the man was walking out too behind her, she didn't expect, after she got out of the water and calming herself down to turn and see a giant wolf, like Jacob for twilight, walking over to her. Her brain didn't connect the two together. She just panicked.
Now seeing he stranger turn back into a human, she realised she was definitely not in her world anymore! The unknown woman looked apprehensive and quite scared still, the unknown man, who was still somehow wearing clothes after transforming into human form, walked towards the unknown woman slowly.
He knew she was scared and didn't want her to be even more frighten of him, for some reason it made his heart hurt, so he was slow to approach her, this show of care for her, from this stranger, made her feel somewhat at ease but she wouldn't let her guard down. He was a stranger after all and she had arrived in a strange new world alone and she didn't know who she could trust, so she had to be wary of him and his intentions.
From the unknown man's perspective, he knew this woman was very different from himself, her scent smelled so foreign good but very different, her clothes were odd, and her skin was obviously different from any being he had seen, but her beauty was out of this world. He knew just from these alone that she was not from here. He was not stupid, plus his people knew tales of beings from other worlds coming to his!
