4. Rivals

For a few seconds, everybody was in shock. There was a moment of pure silence, but even that didn't last long. Things quickly went from bad to dangerous, very fast!

"DANTE!!, HOW COULD YOU, ARE YOU FRIENDS WITH THE ENEMY!!!" Merex screamed

"Things are about to get violent" Vernen said

In a matter of seconds, the leaders of the Denazi and Devix families were screaming at each other, while Vernen was trying to calm down Merex, while Lenor tried to calm down his leader

"Merex, everything is fine" Vernen said

"I'LL BE THE JUDGE OF THAT!!!" Merex screamed

"JUST CALM DOWN MEREX!!!!" Vernen screamed

"SHUT YOUR MOUTH, VERNEN!!!!" Victor screamed

"DON'T TALK TO HIM LIKE THAT!!!" Merex screamed

"YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE ME!!!" Victor screamed

"I'LL GLADLY DO THAT!!" Merex screamed

In a matter of seconds, Merex and Victor Denazi were in each other faces, they both took out their weapons

"I think it's time we finish what we started" Merex said

"I agree, let's finish this, here and now" Victor said

As Victor and Merex got ready to fight, Vernen took out his pistol and shot between Merex and Victor. The bullets he shot were exploding bullets, a few seconds later, a massive explosion wiped out a big part of the floor, creating a giant hole in the ground.

"What's the big deal Vernen, I thought we were friends" Merex said

"We are, you wasn't listening to me and you two were getting a little to dangerous to be around" Vernen said

"I should finish you off instead" Victor said

"NOT OVER MY DEAD BODY!!!" Merex screamed

"THAT COULD BE ARRANGED!!!" Victor screamed

In a matter of seconds, Vernen got very angry, very fast. Vernen then took out his daggers and put each one to Victor and Merex's neck and said

"LISTEN TO ME AND LISTEN TO ME GOOD!!!, BECAUSE NEXT TIME I WON'T BE SO NICE!!!. FIRST THINGS FIRST, MEREX, I AM NOT WEAK I COULD STAND UP AND PROTECT MYSELF. YOUR FORGETTING THAT THE DENAZI FAMILY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY FAMILIES DEATH!!!, I'M THE ONLY ONE LEFT, AND VICTOR, YOU SHOULD BE LUCKY I'VE STOPPED HIM, WHY CAN'T YOU TWO STOP THIS WAR, YOUR THE ONLY ONES LEFT THAT CAN LEAD YOUR FAMILIES. I'VE SUFFERED ENOUGH BECAUSE OF YOU TWO. I HAD ENOUGH. STOP THIS OR I'LL STOP IT FOR YOU!!!" Vernen screamed

"Wow Vernen, I didn't know you felt that way, I guess, I could let you speak for yourself." Merex said

"Normally, I'll finish you off, but I guess I could calm down a little bit. Only because Merex is not dead." Victor said

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!!!" Merex screamed

"Thanks guys" Vernen said

"That doesn't mean we're allies or friends, that simply mean I won't attack Merex for some time. Don't let that speech of yours get to your head. If you talk to me like that again. YOUR NEXT!!!" Victor said

"I'm fine with that" Vernen said

For a few seconds, Merex started to look at Dante's eyes, he knew something bad is headed his way

"Dante, did you look into the Eye of Destruction?" Merex asked

"Yeah, I've experienced a lot of pain" Dante said

"We don't have much time. We need to find a cure, FAST!! Merex said
