The Escape Pt 2

Whilst running Dante opened up his status menu inputting halve of his stat points Agility whilst the rest in strength. Looking at the new stats he didn't know if it would be sufficient but he stopped anyway to prepare a trap for the priest using the ring of resurrection he gained a while back.

Frantically, Dante looked around as he assessed the terrain, trying to think of a plan. He knew he had to act fast before the Priest of Light caught up to him. He saw a narrow gorge with steep sides and quickly decided that it would be the perfect spot for his trap as it would stop the priest from using his overpowered AOE attacks that he had as a level 70 named being.

He began to move rocks and boulders, creating a wall that would funnel the Priest of Light into the narrow gorge. He then placed his now bound resurrection and covered it with leaves, hoping that the Priest wouldn't notice it. Dante knew that he would only have one shot at this, so he had to make sure that everything was perfect.

As he put the finishing touches on the trap, he heard the sound of footsteps coming closer. He quickly entered the gorge, watching as the Priest of Light approached. The Priest was a formidable opponent, with rippling muscles and a fierce determination in his eyes. Dante knew that he would have to rely on his wits to outsmart him.

The Priest of Light saw the narrow gorge with Dante inside of it and charged forward, thinking that Dante was trapped. But as soon as he entered the gorge, Dante activated the trap. The rocks and boulders that Dante had placed began to tumble down, creating an avalanche that blocked the exit. The Priest was trapped with no way of getting out without severely damaging himself.

Dante smiled as he said "Looks like you're the one who can't hide" standing infront of him with an overwhelmingly cocky smirk plastered on his face.

The Priest of Light glared at Dante, his eyes flashing with anger. "You will pay for your treachery, and may the holy light be my witness," he snarled, his semi golden eyes losing their divine glint as he switched off his divine power, knowing it to be a waste of time as he already felt how weak his opponent was.

Dante didn't waste any time. He charged forward, his new agility stat allowing him to move with lightning-fast speed. He swung his sword at the Priest, but the Priest parried the blow with ease. Dante knew that he couldn't match the Priest's strength, so he had to rely on his agility and wits.

He dodged the Priest's attacks, darting in and out of range. He waited for the right moment, then launched a quick strike at the Priest's leg. The blow landed, and the Priest stumbled for a moment, giving Dante the opening he needed.

He leaped forward and plunged his sword into the Priest's chest. The Priest gasped in pain and fell to his knees. Dante knew that he had to act quickly before the Priest could heal himself, so he attacked the priest when suddenly his view flipped as he saw the priest standing there with a sword in hand.The priest smiled as he successfully took care of the heathen, when he suddenly noticed that his supposedly deceased victim's head was smiling instead of displaying a shocked look. Seeing this, he looked around, stunned, checking for any traps, when suddenly he heard.

"A true villain never shows the enemy is trapped until it is too late" the priest heard Dante's voice from outside the gorge looking absolutely stunned from how it was possible for the heathen to still be alive.

"Now die slowly, alone and become my Exp you bastard," Dante said as he slowly conjured up a type of poison that only worked when a person inhaled it.

"The church shall not forgive you heathen, for your blasphemous actions of using the dark arts we shall chase you till the end of days," the priest Gabriel said as he rested on the ground awaiting his inescapable death.

Dante, while waiting for the priest to die, checked his stats to see how they looked and what new titles were added.

Dante frowned as he looked upon his stats as he then realized, he must still complete the promotion quest to be able to continue collecting Exp, meaning that he would gain no Exp from this kill, meaning this entire charade he did just now was a waste of time excluding the loot he will gain from the corpse of the priest.

But thinking about it logically, he realized that this was the only possible way to get all the loot
