Promotion Hall

Dante took a deep breath as he walked towards the village gate, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. He had spent months preparing for this moment, and he was determined to succeed. The promotion hall was his next destination, and he knew that the trial would be tough.

He entered the gate with ease, using his stealth and shadow step abilities to avoid detection. The village was much quieter than before, with the Tier 3 Priest gone. Dante felt relieved that he wouldn't have to face him again, at least for now.

As he walked through the village, he couldn't help but reflect on his experiences here. He had suffered greatly in this place, but it had also helped him grow stronger. Now he was ready to leave it behind and face the challenges that awaited him in the wilderness.

Finally, he arrived at the promotion hall, a run-down building that resembled a monk monastery. The place was almost completely deserted, except for a small black cat sleeping in the center of the hall. Dante approached the portal that awaited him and saw a notification bar pop up in front of him, offering different difficulty settings.

He read through them carefully, knowing that his choice would determine the level of challenge he would face in the trial. A few select players in the past had cleared the Insane difficulty, and Dante knew that he was capable of handling it. However, his attention was drawn to the corrupted text on the last option.

Despite his instincts telling him not to pick it, he felt a strange pull towards it. Before he could stop himself, his hands moved on their own and selected the unknown difficulty.

Dante's body thrashed around as he was pulled into the portal against his will. He tried to fight it, but it was too strong. As he disappeared into the unknown, he could only utter one word: "Shit".The last thing he saw before being dragged into the portal was the corrupted text fading away to reveal the word "God".

The area returned to silence as the cat opened its yellow eyes that glistened as it stared at the portal. A deep voice resounded in the hall, saying, "A little more". Suddenly, the temple vanished, and a new one appeared in its place.
