VRMMORPG:The Sun Sets When The World Ends

Dante, an apostle for the evil God????? kneeled on the collapsed floor of a building coughing up blood, looking around he saw nothing but destruction where there was once prosperity and laughed self mockingly while he reminisced about how he did it. "Why?... Why did you do it Dante!" the hero said as his eyes swam looking around at this destruction, his voice sounding like he was on the verge of crying, his sword weakly at the neck of Dante, waking Dante from his reminiscent due to the icy sensation of the magical metal. "It was the only way...and even if there was another option, it's too late anyway," Dante said as he looked at the hero with his already half-blind blue eyes from the fight they just had. Hearing that, the hero didn't even continue speaking with him and just swung the sword, instantly decapitating him. The last sight he saw was the beautiful sunset mixed among the ruins of buildings as his vision turned black. Playing both sides Pt 2(End)

(3rd Person POV)

As Dante charged into the fray, his heart raced with adrenaline and his mind focused solely on the task at hand. He had faced battles before, but this one felt different. The enemy was numerous, and their determination to harm the innocent was evident. Dante knew that he had to protect the nearby villagers, and he was determined to do so, even if it meant risking his own life.

As he slashed and hacked his way through the enemy ranks, Dante's movements became increasingly fluid and precise. His sword glinted in the sunlight, reflecting the fierce determination in his eyes. Each strike was calculated and executed with deadly precision, leaving his enemies defenseless before him. He moved with the grace of a dancer and the ferocity of a lion, taking out his enemies one by one.

Despite the overwhelming odds against him, Dante never wavered. He fought with a tenacity and ferocity that left his enemies quaking in fear. He had always been a skilled fighter, but in this moment, he transcended his previous abilities. Dante moved with a grace and precision that seemed otherworldly, as if he were channeling some ancient warrior spirit.

As he battled on, Dante felt the thrill of the fight coursing through his veins. He was alive in a way that he had never felt before. The thrill of victory was within his grasp, and he was determined to seize it. He knew that he could not let his guard down, for even the slightest mistake could mean death. But with each foe that fell before him, Dante felt a renewed sense of determination and purpose. He knew that he was fighting for something greater than himself, and that knowledge pushed him to fight on until the last enemy was defeated.

Despite the ferocity of his enemies, Dante remained unscathed. His movements were fluid and graceful, as if he were dancing rather than fighting. With each swing of his sword, he cleaved through the enemy ranks with deadly precision, leaving nothing but death and destruction in his wake.

As the battle raged on, Dante became aware of the villagers huddled nearby. He knew that he had to protect them at all costs. With each slice of his sword, he made sure to create a buffer zone between the enemy and the villagers, keeping them out of harm's way. Despite the surrounding chaos, Dante remained focused on his mission to protect the innocent.

With the enemy forces dwindling, Dante knew that victory was close at hand. He let out a roar of triumph, signaling to his allies that the battle was almost won. He felt the elation of victory coursing through his veins as he took down the last few stragglers. As the last enemy fell to the ground, Dante surveyed the surrounding carnage. The enemy forces had been decimated, and the villagers were safe.

With a sense of pride and accomplishment, Dante sheathed his sword and turned to the villagers. He knew that he had protected them from harm, and that was all that mattered. In that moment, he felt a sense of peace that he had never experienced before. He had faced down the enemy and emerged victorious, but more importantly, he had protected those who were unable to protect themselves.

As the villagers gathered around him, Dante felt a sense of community that he had never experienced before. Despite their differences, they were united in their gratitude for his heroism. For Dante, the battle had been about more than just defeating the enemy. It had been about protecting those who could not protect themselves, and that was a victory that he would cherish for the rest of his life.

(Meanwhile, Dante's Pov)

Dante smiled as he looked at the clueless villagers celebrating the enemy that caused this massacre as the hero who saved them.

Keeping this heroic facade, he made his way to the village head as he took a knight's bow.

"ah, you didn't have to bow hero. It is who should be showing our thanks to you for saving our, lives," The village had said looking stunned.

Hearing that Dante quickly got up not enjoying the fact that he had to kneel to the village head to him being royalty even though it being the most basic baron hood, but keeping his knightly facade he smiled at the chief and said, "What do you mean sire it is a knights duty, given by the holy goddess to protect and serve the weak"

Saying this Dante looked at the chief waiting for him to say the magical words, "While that may be true we can't have a hero not get rewarded for his efforts to combat evil, follow me to the treasury, I will allow you to pick on an item from it and give you some gold coins"

The chief said as he walked towards his mansion of a hut.
