Aftermath Pt. 1

After Dante left the scene, the beaten gangsters staggered back to their Don, Tony. Tony was not happy. He was the boss of one of the biggest crime syndicates in the city, and he didn't appreciate his soldiers getting beaten up by some random guy.

"Who was this guy?" Tony demanded.

"He's some kind of martial arts expert," one of his men said, wincing as he rubbed his bruised jaw. "He took all of us on at once and won, even disarming us in the process."

Tony scowled. He didn't like the sound of that. The only thing he could link these two events with were the rumors about a new player in town, someone who was making a name for himself by taking down gangs left and right. Tony had dismissed those rumors as exaggerations, but now it seemed like there might be some truth to them.

"Find out everything you can about him," Tony ordered. "I want to know who he is, where he came from, and what he's up to. And if you see him again, don't let him get away this time and if you do..."Tong gestured with his hand, slitting his neck, his brown eyes with slicked back black curly hair, giving him the impression of being a ruthless leader.

His men nodded and dispersed, eager to prove their worth to their boss and even more excited to remain alive.

Over the next few days, Tony's men followed Dante everywhere he went. They watched him go to the gym, the library, the park, and even to his job at the bookstore. They even" interviewed" his past coworkers and neighbors, looking for any information that could be useful.

Despite their efforts, they couldn't find anything concrete. Dante seemed like a normal guy, with a quiet life and no criminal record. They couldn't even find any evidence of him being a martial arts expert. The only thing worth being of note was that he got mistreated as a child and parents were deceased.

"No, that can't be possible. An untrained man can't possibly do this kind of damage to men who were armed,even if they were just lower-level grunts. Meaning he's someone dangerous... if I don't play my cards right, it could be head next on the chopping block."Tony said,rubbing his chin as his thoughts zoomed through the possibilities.

" Arrange a meeting with this so-called master," Tony said to his butler as he tried to hide his excitement for this meeting as he thought this could be his chance to advance his mafia's strength.
