Chapter 2

He looked around checking where he was and then he saw someone. It was a man wearing what seemed to be a suit with grey and white stripes. He had what seemed to be a medal around his neck and two crosses. One hanging on his waist and the other seemed to be a a short sword or dagger shaped cross. The man had tan skin with red eyes and some grayish white hair.

When I looked at him I felt a dangerous aura radiating from him. I took a step back preparing to turn around and run but then I felt my body growing colder. He was right in front of me with his hand holding onto the blade which stabbed me.

My body fell on to the ground glowing as it turned into particles. My vision went dark and I woke up in a forest near the ruins. I looked around and spotted the ruins north of my current location when I saw an explosion engulf the ruins. Above the explosion I saw some sort of portal open up with the person who stabbed me jumping in before it closed.

I went toward the ruins and I saw the aftermath of the explosion. Nearly the entire city walls collapsed along with piles of rubble everywhere where buildings once stood.

I walked around clearing the piles of rubble hoping to find something.

[7 Days Later]

A week passed since the explosion and while clearing the piles of rubble I found a decent amount of tools , weapons ,armors and materials. They were very damaged as when I checked their durability it was between 1-10.

I had found a lot a of scrap metal as well and each piece could be reforged into ingots then weapons.

[2 Weeks Later]

After two weeks I was able to clear all the piles of rubble and more items. Mainly scrap metal,few dozen books (including skill books), and blueprints. Checking my ring I saw that 7 percent was filled. Searching through the items I had I found a land deed.

[Land Deed]

Allows you to claim the land within a 4×4 mile range of your current position.

-Cannot claim land if it is already owned by any npc or player faction

I brought it out and a screen appeared in front of me.

[Do you wish to claim the land]

[Yes] [No]

Seeing this I walked to where the center of the ruins used and pressed yes after arriving at the spot. The deed disappeared turning into white particles before another screen appeared.

[Do wish to announce your name to the world]

[Yes] [No]

I gave it some thought and decided that it didn't matter as the land claimed would be an area where players wouldn't have reached yet. It would take about 2-3 weeks before they found this place. I pressed [Yes]

The server announcement continued for 3 times before it ended. A notification appeared in front of me telling me I got rewarded for being the first to claim land.

'Who is Zelretch?' I thought

I searched my inventory and I found 1000 gold, 1 Mysterious-Iron grade pendant and 3 Zelretch's Mysterious Gacha. I check what this so called gacha was.

Before i knew it he was right in front of me.

"Who is Zelretch"

"Zelretch, Hmm.. I dont know much about him. AlI know is that he appeared out of know where and offered his help when your brother and his research team were creating me and my fellow brothers and sisters. All he asked was if he could add some stuff which included a storyline separate from the main storyline , weapons , npcs and much more. After he helped us and added what he wanted to he disappeared. I was tasked with finding out more about him but nothing came up. Before he left he got your brother addicted to anime, manga ,and novels to the point where he almost became an otaku. Your brother is now a fan of many anime especially Fate/Stay Night ,Fate/Zero,Fate/Apocrypha and anything else related."

I became dumbfounded at the fact that my brother almost became an otaku as he was never really interested in anime or manga and rarely read any novels. I tried to get him to watch at least one anime but I failed as he said it was boring and preferred to hangout at his friends house. This Zelretch must be an amazing person.

I focused my attention back to Zelretch's Mysterious Gacha and took it out of my inventory. Opening the first one a bright light engulfed the entire area making me blind.
